The applicator is pretty narrow and it would be easier to use if it was wider. But it’s a good product and I recommend it.

This is my first time trying this brand and I’m pleasantly surprised. I naturally have dry lips, so it’s very important for me to have a good moisturizing lip balm. I keep one in every purse and even at work I always have one in my pocket. I decided to try this lip balm after hearing so many good reviews and I’m glad I did. First of all, I love the texture and the light, fruity scent, it’s nice without being overwhelming. The texture really surprised me, it feels super lightweight and non-sticky, which is exactly what I look for. Most importantly, it keeps my lips moisturized for a long time and I love that it’s cruelty-free. Overall, it does the job perfectly, and I definitely give it 5 stars. Here’s a breakdown based on some things that I care about (perhaps you will, too):
• It’s clean! ~ You can trust the ingredients. I love Burt’s Bees, but not all of their products rank high for having pure ingredients. Lately I’ve been tossing anything that feels risky into the trash. This lip milk gets top marks for having a clean formula that’s safe to use. No mineral oils here.
• It feels like a dream! ~ After knowing something isn’t toxic or harmful (this isn’t, yay), the next thing I want to know is if it feels good… or if it feels like a greasy sunscreen. Burt’s Bees Lip Milk has a smooth, creamy texture that lathers into the lips and feels like it just disappears, leaving behind moisturized lips.
• It smells amazing! ~ It’s like strawberry cheesecake. You will want to eat it (but don’t, obviously).
• It arrives securely packaged! ~ There’s nothing worse than receiving a suspicious loose lip balm in a box and not knowing if it’s new, if it’s authentic, etc. This lip milk comes in the brand’s official box with a secure sticker seal, so you can hydrate that pout with peace of mind.
The only gripe? The design of the tube makes the lip milk squirt out a little too fast for my liking, meaning you get a little more product on your finger or on your lips than you might want. The good side of that is how quickly it seeps into the lips, so you can just lather it in and continue with your day.
Overall, the verdict is… Get it, get it, get it! I’m keeping one in my purse, one in my desk, and one my makeup bag. Can’t wait for more flavors.

If you’re looking for something to wear during the day, I’m not sure this is it. I got the coconut scent/flavor, and it’s fine. But the texture is off putting to me. It’s like a milky lotion that applies white then sinks in. It still leaves a whitish cast to your lips, and if you rub your lips together you can feel an odd texture. Not a texture like a traditional lip product – almost like it pills up on your lips. I tried using less product and it did the same thing. So I’m using at night kind of as a serum treatment before my overnight lip mask. I can’t tell if it’s adding much extra hydration, but I can say it’s not drying out my lips or causing any issues. I just don’t like the texture!
