Very nice blanket that is soft, cozy and provides a lot of warmth. The tone-on-tone textured design makes this blanket stand out over others on the market since it is not only functional but attractive as well. The construction is above par with the more tailored tufted design on one side and warm fleece on the other, firmly secured beads, meticulous stitching and finished rolled edging. This is my first weighted blanket and following the instructions to choose a weight that is about 10% of your body weight seemed reasonable, however I found that for me personally I found it to be just a little overwhelming after trying it out for a few nights. Maybe it just takes getting used to? In the meantime, I have found it to be a good lap blanket for the newly chilly days we have been having and the side benefit of the weight means it doesn’t slide off while sitting at my desk working. Really like the quality of this blanket and am hoping I am able to adjust to the weight for sleeping over time.

I thought this might be a very nice winter throw to have around the living room. I think though it is almost too heavy for a lot of people to move around. Little kids or old people might find the weight density to be a bit much.
The material itself is comfortable, warm, and soft. That is ok. I like other styles better, but this is okay. There seems to be little pockets sewn into the inside of the blanket with little beads or pebbles that are the weight, and are perhaps the warmth absorbing variety.
My dad didn’t really like using it, because it was just too heavy for him in his condition. I decided to use it in a different way and found a more satisfying way of making use of it, and I like it because it stays in place. We are getting to the time of year where it is chilly at night, and so I put it on the bottom third of the bed as an extra warmth for my feet, and I am finding that is a better use. What I really like in this application is it stays in place quite well due to the weight, and It is pretty nice on the feet. I think from a comfort view, the weight for this application is good. I think on a really cold night you can still pull it up, I think it does a good job with sleep quality by you just not being woken up by cold feet.
The quality seems to be good enough; I have not had cause to wash it, but it seems like you could, as long as you don’t heat dry it.

I absolutely love this blanket, but 15 pounds can be a bit heavy. Works great for me. I feel like I’m at the dentist getting an x-ray and they don’t take the weighted blanket away, wonderful! If you’re not good with heavy weight, it can be burdensome, so perhaps a 10 pound but this is a very well-made blanket. I like the fluff on one side and the Dense blanket on the other. I have washed it once and it came out just fine. I’m buying one for all of my daughter-in-law’s, it can be used on your sofa or on your bed. Love love weighted, blankets, and these are also perfect for the living room.
