This weighted blanket is a great find! We got the 25lb blanket. It is super soft, the stitching is mostly solid, has a wider rolled edge, rounded corners and fits our queen bed nicely. There is one area where the edging piece comes to an end that the stitching did not go all the way to the end and caused a piece of frayed fabric to be hanging. I will just trim it off. I deducted one star for that, because for the price point, I didn’t expect to see that kind of flaw. My house guests simply love it!!! Even the color has a little bit of a variation like it’s heathered grey, and so the color is fantastic and expensive looking.

The comforter comes in a nice fabric bag and is also wrapped in a compression plastic similar to memory foam. But it doesn’t expand a huge amount when you break the bag open, so the compression bag is probably mostly to fit in the fabric bag. It definitely doesn’t fluff up like the picture although I was not attempting to fluff it up either. The king comforter in 20lb definitely has some noticeable weight to it, both when handling it and when you ware in bed underneath. I have only slept with it for a night but it was comfy having the extra weight. I am someone who will want to sleep with at least a top sheet even in warm temperature just to have something on me and don’t get comfortable with nothing so I was pretty sure the weighted style would work out well for me. The only other issue I have with my memory foam bed and topper is that the heat gets trapped and with this comforter vs the Rest cooling one I had been using previously. In the past I used a big fluffy down comforter but that would get too hot especially with the memory foam so I had switched to a “cooling” comforter in the past couple years. I did get a couple hot spots throughout the night (this is in below freezing weather in Northeast with thermostat set to 65 at night). We’ll see how that goes. The card insert does recommend a duvet cover since the comforter cannot really be washed in a machine (at least with that weight I would be worried about it breaking my relatively new Samsung washer-and they warn about this on the card as well) but it looks perfectly nice without any cover.

I have heard about the benefits of weighted blankets, so I’d thought I’d give this one a try. It combines a weighted blanket with a comforter. It’s a light grey color, and the material is soft and comfortable. I would recommend a duvet cover, as this has to be either spot cleaned, or it needs to be commercially cleaned. It is about 20 pounds and filled with glass beads. For me, it’s a little heavy. I’m a hot sleeper, and it felt like too much for me. If you have used weighted blankets before and love them. I would recommend this.

The queen is more for a king bed as it hangs as long over the sides and bottom. I think if it were smaller (full) I would feel more of the weight. Warm and soft. Love the weighted comforter. Suggest buying their duvet cover because washing a weighted blanket is not something you do at home. Throw a heated blanket under it for winter and it’s like sleeping on a cloud.

The size is perfect- it drapes a little over the edge of a queen bed but not too far down. It really does help me sleep for longer and feel very calm under it.
I also like the color options available. This blanket looks very pretty and stylish under the duvet.
Finally I was surprised to find that this blanket is quite warm, even during the drafty the cold winters where I am. Sometimes I throw a quilt over it as well. It’s very soft and warm, and while it’s weighted, it isn’t too flat either.
If you have been waiting a while to get a weighted blanket, I would go for it! I am happy with the slightly less heavy option, as this was my first one. I think it is enough for my purposes.

Awesome. Impossible to find weighted comforter, YNM was the only one. Cheaper on Amazon then YNM’s website. Stick to no more than 10% of your body weight, otherwise, too heavy. Had to buy separate duvet cover, but also on Amazon, and protects it. Very high quality, will last forever.

It’s very comfortable. If you have trouble lifting a 20lb blanket, I’d stick with a lighter blanket. I bought a 50lb. It’s soft, it does get a little warm, and it is a little difficult to move the blanket from my bed to the laundry(it is very heavy). I will say that you should wash it properly before the first use. It had little paper/linen dust that kept accumulating on/around it. It’s quality is honestly pretty good, I wouldn’t bring it everywhere, but it’s sturdy. I got a queen size blanket, but if you have a queen size bed and like the blanket to hang off the sides, get a size larger. I like the size that I got.
