I’m picky about vanilla. This one is completely different. It actually tastes like real vanilla cream, and it’s smooth enough that I don’t have to psych myself up before drinking it.
The vanilla is clean, creamy, and not overly sweet. No weird chemical taste, no gritty powder floating around. Honestly, the texture reminds me more of a bottled vanilla latte (minus the coffee) than a protein drink.
I can drink one of these for breakfast and not feel hungry again until late morning. The protein hits without weighing me down or making me feel bloated. It’s been perfect for days I’m running kids around and don’t have time to cook anything.
Super convenient, no mixing, no clumps, no blender bottles to wash. I just keep a few cold in the fridge and grab one on my way out the door. They’re also shelf-stable until they’re opened, which is a lifesaver for stocking up!
If you’re normally a chocolate-only person because vanilla protein drinks usually disappoint, this one might actually convert you. It’s the first vanilla shake I’ve found that tastes good and keeps me full. Definitely staying on my reorder list.

Core Power Protein Shake is a tasty and convenient way to refuel after workouts. The texture is smooth and creamy, and the flavor is rich without being overly sweet. It mixes easily and provides a good dose of protein to support muscle recovery. Perfect for on-the-go nutrition, it keeps you satisfied and energized. A reliable and enjoyable protein shake for daily fitness needs.

A little on the pricier side for many of us, but you get what you pay for here. This is honestly the absolute best vanilla protein “shake” type of drink I’ve been able to find – and I’ve tried quite a lot of different brands. Core Power has zero aftertaste, its not chalky in the least; in fact, there’s no weird tastes to it at all, just plain old fashioned vanilla – not overly sweet and not too thick, just a smooth and silky mouthfeel full of goodness.
These are pretty great for diabetics – low in sugar and high protein. I usually purchase two 12 packs each month to keep on hand when I need something on the go, or when my blood sugar gets too low or just as a simple meal replacement. Only 4 stars because nothing is perfect. They could up the size to a full pint (16 oz) and keep the price the same, which I think may curb some of the complaints about cost/value.

These protein shakes taste good and are very convenient for busy mornings or after workouts. The chocolate flavor hits the spot and mixes well without being overly sweet.
Each bottle gives a solid 26 g of protein which helps with recovery and keeps me full for hours. The 14 oz size is filling but easy to finish in one sitting. The multipack gives good value and lasts a while.
Overall this is a reliable protein drink that tastes good, delivers quality nutrition, and is perfect for post-workout or meal replacement on the go.

These Core Power Protein Shakes, Chocolate flavored are not only delicious but also is a good meal replacement for me. Often times, I am not able to stop and eat a fork and spoon meal at work. But I can fit in the time, to drink one of these great tasting drinks! The shakes have health benefits and 26 grams of protein to help keep me feeling fuller, longer.
Kelly potter –
Such a good deal. These are so expensive when you buy them in the store, but if you do subscribe and save you save so much money! These are the best when it comes to protein drinks! My daughters love them after practice. Such a good tasting protein drink. Athlete must have.

I’ve been really impressed with the Fairlife Vanilla Protein Shakes. The flavor is smooth and creamy without that chalky or overly sweet taste a lot of protein shakes have. It honestly tastes more like vanilla milk than a “protein drink,” which makes it easy to enjoy.
The vanilla flavor is versatile too; it’s good on its own or blended with espresso for an iced coffee.
Overall, if you’re looking for a protein shake that actually tastes good and is easy to grab on the go, this one is definitely worth it. I’ll be repurchasing!

Use these daily. Very good flavor. Thick enough to taste like a shake. Very good, consistent flavor. Pleasant smell doesn’t upset my stomach. With monthly subscription I use way before expiration dates. Consistency in delivery. No stomach issues with these.
CoolBrz –
It’s high quality, high protein, unbelievably tasty, low sugar content at 5g,I like the chocolate a lot but LOVED the vanilla the second I tried it. It’s not too thick or heavy like the 42g protein version. Yes it is expensive but with the high amount of protein and low amount of sugar and being ultra filtered milk gives it an always fresh taste ( so long as you drink within the expiration date) that just makes it worth it. The BEST there is!!

This stuff is the absolute bee knees, it has a great amount of protein and it’s natural enough not to give me a stomach ache!
I use it to make Protein Coffee (protein shake, cold brew coffee, sugar-free maple syrup) and it really does taste SOOOOO good.
Can’t recommend enough!

These vanilla powder shakes taste more like a thick vanilla milkshake than a protein drink, super smooth, not chalky tasting a great way to your protein. These actually remind me of the vanilla carnation drinks. That I used to drink back in the 80s. The taste is delicious and these are super convenient I just grabbed one out of the fridge in the mornings and drink it on the way to work and I use it as a Miller replacement for breakfast.
Matt K. –
Taste great. I also buy the chocolate. I am not a big fan of the strawberry banana but that is just me. These are by far the best protein shake out there. Others must shred because sometimes it is difficult to get them. They have very little sugar and no added seed oils

I’ve tried a lot of different vanilla protein shakes. These are the BEST shakes. They are expensive but worth the cost in my opinion. They taste like you are drinking vanilla ice cream. I’m on the GLP-1 shots and I use them as a meal replacement. It is very filling and satisfying.

This shake has a smooth texture and tastes just like a delicious vanilla milk- no chalky protein aftertaste. It’s a life saver on busy mornings, when my girls leave for school in a hurry and don’t have time or the appetite for a normal breakfast. This gives them the morning protein boost they need for their busy day.

I depend on Core Power Chocolate shakes for post-workout recovery and quick meals. The flavor is rich yet balanced, never overly sweet or bold like some brands. What stands out is the exceptionally smooth texture and its thin enough to drink easily, with zero chalky or weird aftertaste that plagues so many others. 26g of protein keeps me full without blood sugar spikes. I love the grab-and-go convenience over blending my own, and the 12-pack is great value. They’re so tasty I sometimes have two or three daily. Bonus: a dash of cinnamon takes it to another level. Solid choice.

I have tried them all, most have that chalky taste but the Vanilla is by far my favorite. I actuallyt use half a bottle with my cereal in the morning because I know I am getting the protein with my cereal and not the sugar from regular milk. They are my go to grab and go when I am on the run and need a balanced snack/meal replacement. Buy this flavor! My second favorite is the Strawberry Banana then Chocolate flavor.
sheila lester –
Great taste. Easy and good for a replacement meal. Plenty of protein!

I was honestly surprised by how good this chocolate protein shake tastes — it’s smooth, rich, and genuinely tastes like chocolate milk, not a chalky protein drink. I’ve used it in the Ninja Creami and it spins up beautifully into a creamy, dessert-like treat with no weird aftertaste.
What really sold me is that even my football players will drink it after practice without complaint, which says a lot. It’s an easy way to get protein in for recovery without feeling like a “supplement.” Great flavor, great texture, and very versatile whether you drink it straight or use it frozen. Definitely a repeat buy in our house.
