Ancient Nutrition was my go to brand, but since they no longer sell Frankincense, I tried Aura Cacia. It isn’t as strong, but still works well, and the price is excellent compared to other high end brands that works just as well.

We purchased this for use in homemade moisturizing oils, and the like. This is very good, and smells wonderfully of lavender. The only note of caution I would provide, though, is that it is very potent – some recipes you encounter will call for something like twenty drops of an essential oil such as this – with this product, unless you’re making a very large batch of something, just a few drops will suffice.

When I first got it, I was disappointed because the smell was very faint. Eventually, about a year later I decided to use it up and try a different brand. I used it as a hair oil for my dry scalp instead of the castor bean oil I’ve been purchasing. It turns out that the carrier “oil” this brand uses is jojoba, which is more expensive, doesn’t go rancid as fast, and is actually easier to apply and doesn’t turn my hair into a sticky mess like the castor does. The bottle size and dispenser are perfect to get a few drops on my fingers to run in. Then I noticed that it has a great sandalwood smell, but only because of the bottle agitation and amount I use.
End result is that I love it but I am using it up way too fast because now I’m addicted to it! My main complaint is that as a daily use item, I would have to get it on subscription and anything over $8-10 per month is excessive. I wish at this point I could get either economy size amounts of it or make my own from jojoba oil and sandalwood extract.
By the way, Sandalwood is related to mistletoe, a “parasitic” vine. I’m seriously contemplating starting my own farm if I can’t get a square deal from the essential oil vendors on Amazon.

Wonderful vetiver! Mostly woodsy and earthy, a very subtle hint of smoky. Not acrid or bitter like some vetivers.
It IS VERY thick- this is what makes it a wonderful fixative. I took the dropper off and I carefully dab a drop on my wrist and add some other oils to it to wear as perfume (lavender, clary sage, patchouli, cassia, vanilla). the vetiver really helps the others last longer and also adds that je ne se quoi (sorry I don’t know french!) that really works with my body chemistry. It can be great in a humidifier but I recommend mixing up a little vial with whatever other oils you are using and shaking it up real well to help disperse the oil droplets before adding it to the water reservoir. I don’t think it works well in the bath or bath salts- too thick.
I will definitely come back to Aura Cacia’s vetiver. I use a lot of NOW oils (so economical) but some other brands too, and I don’t mind paying just a little more for quality. Esp since w/ vetiver, a little goes a loooong way. And amazon sells EO’s at a great price.

I received the Aura Cacia Essential Oil Lavender within the time promised and in excellent condition. I pair it with Sweet Orange in a Jojoba oil base in a nightlight with a well at the top plugged into my bathroom outlet. This serves as a room deodorizer and aromatherapy at the same time. I often put a few drops on the inside of the cardboard cylinder of toilet tissue, too. I love the bright and calming smell. I have been doing this for years. I prefer it to chemical deodorizers on the market today. I recommend this product to people who rather use natural products.

This is a great oil and I highly recommend this specific brand of oil; however, I do take issue with the listing size 0.5oz(pack of 3).
You do not get three 0.5oz bottles. You get one. The listing size should reflect that.

I really love the smell of lavender. I carry a vial with me everywhere I go and inhale it often because it has a calming aroma. The very sweet aroma reminds me of mint tea. I am now experimenting with ways to use it to take advantage of its therapeutic qualities. So far I find it’s best used in an ultrasonic mister. I tried a few drops in a few tablespoons of jojoba oil and used it as a temple rub. I also place drops on my pillows before bed.
I really recommend this for people who want relief from stress and a little relief from anxiety and panic attacks (it’s like an emergency inhaler to me).

Great oil, I bought a lavender one, that I think that went spoiled… but it wasn’t on Amazon. The vetiver is thick, earthy, and the price was good too. This is a great brand, and this experience was a good one, thanks again for that 🙏🏼!

I am an essential oil fanatic… there I admit it.
I have several other brands of lavender oil, and they’re ok. But My massage therapist used this on me last time, and instantly I knew I had to order some for home.
In my opinion, This is equal to Aveda and Young Living and better value. This lavender is the creme de la creme…. it doesn’t get better than this.
I use it topically as a rub for aches and pains, for relaxation in my bath and diffuser. Again …look no farther… this is the best.

Before I used to buy same scent and the quality was perfect,but last purchase was disgusting: smells acetone not Lemon Eucalyptus!

Cant show a picture. Boo boo is gone already. Just buy the real deal. Lots of bad essential oils and they actually make athings worse. Maybe they smell good. If thats what you want fine but they arent pure or clean

I love this lavender essential oil so much. Before this, I never cared much about where I was sourcing my oil from. I did some research and found this brand to carry quality oils and tried this one out. It smells amazing, and I can instantly tell a difference in quality from my previous oils.
