Really like this moisturizer for my sensitive rosacea skin. I found out through Facebook that there were releasing a new product a few weeks ago and Monday Jan 19th showed it was this moisturizer. So I ordered it from ulta website and got it in a few days and like it enough I ordered on here so I can have a backup for cheaper. It’s lightweight but more moisturizing than the face moisturizer in the 3oz but cheaper per Oz and not as thick as the 16oz cream but more hydrating than the cream is. No bad smell has nice ingredients and can be used face and body I got for my face. Has a lot of same ingredients as the face moisturizer but uses dimethicone instead of squalane and a bit longer of ingredient length list. Didn’t cause itching or breakouts which happens in a matter of hours if my face skin hates something so I’m very excited to save some money using this from now on.

I’ve used this moisturizer in totally opposite conditions, a January heat wave in San Diego and below-freezing winter weather in Minneapolis and it works great in both. It absorbs quickly in warm weather without feeling greasy, and in the cold it keeps my skin hydrated with no dryness or irritation. I have sensitive skin and really appreciate how gentle and reliable this is year-round!!! Vanicream is the best.

GREAT VANICREAM DROP!! This moisturizer is lightweight texture, but despite its airy feel, it provides long-lasting hydration throughout the day. It also glides on really easily.
As of now, for the price, formula, and feel. I recommend this for any skin type

Congrats vanicream, this lotion is awesome. Silky, sinks in, hydrating but not greasy or filmy. *Chef’s kiss* probably not for super dry skin, but great for combo skin types!

I have really dry, flaky skin and had been resorting to using an exfoliating glove on my face twice a week in the shower in order to not have the peeling show up once I come out, but I realized it was damaging and making my skin barrier more sensitive, and using moisturizers afterwards would often sting a little. I read a recommendation for Vanicream on Reddit and was stuck between trying their lotion vs their cream vs their facial moisturizer and couldn’t decide. I noticed that a new version was literally JUST released, had really good reviews, and was supposed to be more hydrating than any of the others but more lightweight so I gave this one a try. I didn’t like it at first bc it left my face extremely sticky, and took FOREVER to absorb, which isn’t bad for when you are just going to bed but if you want to wear it throughout the day and under makeup it’s not ideal. I tried it again differently the next day and soaked my face first, and only used half a pump, it was less sticky and easier to deal with. Haven’t tried putting concealer or makeup over it yet though. It definitely leaves a film over my skin that feels kinda uncomfortable instead of leaving my face feeling smooth and soft and healthy, but it locks in the moisture very well. It also didn’t burn, other than on the corner of my nose slightly but not nearly as bad as most other products. Unscented which is nice, and lasts on your skin for a long time just like it says, so thats awesome! Honestly the only downside of this product is how long it takes to absorb and the sticky film it leaves but thats apart of the process to keep it lasting so long.

I mainly use this at night or during the winter months in the daytime. It’s much richer compared to the Vanicream Daily Facial Moisturizer, so I use the DFM in the morning and this one at night.
This has been great for helping my skin tolerate tretinoin! Highly recommend! Price also can’t be beat! Clean ingredients and super affordable!

This lotion spreads nicely, feels much more moisturizing but doesn’t feel overly greasy. It also doesn’t have a noticeable smell. I will be purchasing this body lotion from now on!

This is hands down the best moisturizer for sensitive skin on the market. It is incredibly lightweight and feels more like a serum than a heavy cream. The ingredient list is amazing, and it leaves zero greasy residue because it absorbs so quickly into the skin.

I want to compare this product with the Daily Facial Moisturizer given that they both have hyaluronic acid and cermides. This product is lighter, more watery, and the finish is less refined (not as smooth, a little tacky) than the Daily Facial Moisturizer. My skin felt a little dry when I used it. On the flip side, this product doesn’t burn at all whereas sometimes the DFM can burn when my skin is more sensitive due to the HA. This product is almost three times as large as the DFM for almost the same price too. Overall I think I wanted the DFM formula in a larger size. It makes sense that it doesn’t fully live up to that given the price. Overall great moisturizer though and I’ll keep using it and who knows maybe it’ll replace the DFM for me.
Update: After wearing this for a few days, and switching back to the DFM, I think this is not a replacement for the DFM. Skin seems drier and lines are more visible. I think this will end up being a nightly moisturizer for me. Knocking it down one star.

I’ve been an avid Vanicream fan, using many of their products for almost 10 years now. They’re all fantastic, including the moisturizing face cream I usually use every day. But THIS — this is the stuff! It’s lighter than the cream but not quite as thin as the lotion. It also really DOES help moisturize for a long time. Even with the cream, I could easily reapply at least once later in the day, but the enhanced moisturizer is good all day, once and done. I may just need to upgrade my routine to include this on a regular basis (at least in the dead of winter). Well done, Vanicream!
