Atlas is a great alternative to whole coffee with the added health benefits from quality ingredients. For those who are daily coffee drinkers, but not too heavy, it will give a decent boost. If you’re a multiple cup a day drinker, it may be an on par supplement for one of your servings.

The flavor is fairly bold, and definitely meant for someone who enjoys coffee black. I personally don’t add sugar or cream to coffee, and it was fine for those who do similar.

The only downside is the price. Premium ingredients aside, it’s fairly expensive. The 28 servings won’t last long for those who typically drink at least 8oz of coffee per serving. You’ll get closer to 20 to 22 servings in that case. I would recommend it if you can catch a sale. If not, it’ll depend on your coffee budget. This may be out of many people’s price range.

This is an excellent alternative to regular coffee. I started Christmas Day drinking it and have tried a few other plant brands mixed in. I’m of the opinion that Atlas is the superior brand. It is pricey and their continual emails a tad annoying, but do think it is worth a try. Less jitters and calming.

I was skeptical at first, but I actually really like the taste of this mushroom coffee! I still prefer the flavor of regular coffee, but I was starting to feel super jittery and get an upset stomach from too much caffeine. This has been a great alternative, and maybe it’s a placebo effect but I genuinely feel like I can focus longer since switching to it in the mornings. I usually add a bit of almond milk and use a milk frother to make it extra smooth. Bonus: I can drink it out of my mushroom mug 🙂 Definitely recommend giving it a try!

The flavor of this coffee is actually really good—richer and more robust than other mushroom coffees I’ve tried, like Four Sigmatic and Ryze. However, the preparation instructions are confusing, and the value isn’t quite what it seems.

The card inside the box says “1 scoop per 4–5 oz or ½ cup,” which is unclear and honestly doesn’t make much sense if you’re used to drinking a standard 8 oz cup. I assumed there would be a small scoop inside—there wasn’t a scoop. UpThe bag says 1 scoop equals 1 tablespoon and recommends using 4–7 oz of water. But if you’re like most people and use 8 oz or more, you’ll only get about 14–16 servings out of a bag that claims to have 28 servings. That’s pretty expensive per cup.

Vegetarians, take note: the collagen in this product is bovine-derived.

That said, when I used 2 tablespoons for 8 oz of water, I found the flavor a bit too strong—so depending on your taste, you might be able to use less and stretch the bag further. Overall, it’s flavorful, but the misleading serving size and lack of scoop are frustrating.

This tastes nothing like a latte, a VERY STRONG coconut taste I can’t get past. Does not dissolve, even if you follow their preparation directions. Not returnable on Amazon, although on Atlas’s website if you subscribe to an automated plan (the ONLY way you can buy Atlas) then they might stand by their products. I don’t necessarily need a refund, I would be happy if they sent me a bag of their regular coffee superblend, can’t drink this “latte” stuff, yuck!

I don’t know if I got a bad batch, but it smells AWFUL- musty, like mold. Against my better judgement, I drank it because I haven’t had mushroom coffee before. It tasted awful as well. To compare, I bought a bag of Everyday Dose to try as well, and it smells and tastes like a pleasant (albeit weak) cup of coffee.

Taste is amazing, much better than other mushroom coffees. Ingredients are amazing, I like the fact that is has ashwaganda and collagen in it. It gives me a good amount of energy right after and allows me to focus on daily tasks better.
