Wow! I’m not a huge coffee drinker because it can upset my tummy, but I’ll drink low acid, from time to time. Not into mushrooms in food but am interested in the health benefits. Was super worried this would be awful tasting….boy was I surprised! No mushroom taste AT ALL! Not a strong tasting coffee but very exeptable in my latte! Way cheaper than so called better tasting options with all the best mushrooms! PS don’t store in FRIDGE OR FREEZER! Glad I read pakage.

I LOVE this coffee! It doesn’t rot my gut like most coffees do AND it doesn’t taste funny (to me) either. The energy it gives me is great and gets me through the day, but I have to say that my absolute favorite thing about it is that I’ve lost about 15-20 pounds since starting to drink it about a year ago without changing my diet or exercise routine. I know it’s not advertised as doing this, but it’s the only thing that I changed so I’m blaming the mushrooms in it. 😅 I’m a customer for life.

I’m enjoying this. I purchased it because it was ground coffee and not instant. I didn’t expect it to be a connoisseurs choice, but I like it, it is perfectly adequate for my morning brew. It has a pleasing flavor, and is much better than Folgers or Maxwell House, This coffee is great in my keurig to keep things simple (I have an apparatus to enable me to use my own coffee in my keurig. I’m happy that there isn’t as much caffeine in it and I can drink a little more of it on cold mornings in the winter.

I’ve been a loyal customer of this coffee for years because of its high-altitude sourcing, which reduces the risk of mold contamination and ensures a healthier cup compared to many brands that don’t test for mold and toxins. The smooth, clean taste and organic certification have always made it a standout option for me.
However, the recent price increase is disappointing. While I understand quality comes at a cost, the new pricing just doesn’t justify the value anymore. It’s now too expensive for me to continue purchasing regularly. Until the price becomes more reasonable, I’ll have to look for a more affordable alternative. It’s a shame to part ways with a product I’ve enjoyed for so long, but budget considerations matter.

This used to be the best coffee ever. Smooth, not acidic and just above the rest. With the recent order it tastes completely different. It’s bitter and taste like a cheap bag of coffee. What happened? Such a shame. This bag is worth no more than $4 and that’s pushing it. You’ll find other organic brands that tastes smoother.

This coffee meets the expectations of an aroma and full bodied taste of a superior high altitude coffee. It is one of the most tested varieties by third party independent labs for mold and chemical contamination resulting in a fresh taste and aroma. I searched everywhere because of lasting covid deadening of the senses for taste and smell. I missed the early morning brewing through my use of an early percolater and drip method. Burnt. Taste is terrible. Worse than starbutts. Like alot worse. I am thinking this was a bad batch. Way over roasted. I had to throw it out. Funny cause I got a bag of medium roast and it was fine. Not great but good. And I figured the organic and the mycotoxin free testing made it worth the 2x cost vs other organic. Actually I couldn’t find any info on mycotoxin testing. Not in the bag or the Amazon description. It is mentioned on the website but no third party testing certs. Won’t buy again and it’s a shame. Right idea but product has to be consistently good. This one feels like a rip off and maybe some false advertising
Update: this company got in touch with me soon after my negative review and they made it right. I don’t like hurting a small box so I modified rating and adding this element to the responsiveness and accountability of the biz. And as I said in original review the other bag of coffee which was medium roast was good. I am thinking they had a substandard lot slip thru. Will give them another chance and order another bag of medium roast

I have been testing fair trade coffees and so far Peak Performance is the best-tasting coffee so far. Its beans are rich and hardy. The taste is smooth and mellow. It’s organic, fair trade and uses no pesticides. That is important to me.

I wrote a low review first time because I ordered mushroom coffee with both healthy coffee (organic and fresh) along with around half nutritional mushrooms.
I rated it comparing it to my instant organic coffee with mushroom I normally use which I love.
This is very bitter compared to it but is NOT any more bitter than any normal coffee people drink.
So for a good coffee I think it’s just as comparable to other brands and a healthier version But compared to the more subtle not bitter taste with the delicious mushroom flavor I’ve grown accustomed to it’s a lower review. I also made the first review lower because I tried several routes to contact seller hoping for an exchange for something else since this is not a true tasting mushroom coffee but couldn’t find a way to contact them.
