The bottle looks nice, but in my opinion the glass feels a little too easy to break. It also came with an anti-leak cap design, which I thought was a great idea at first. Unfortunately, that part stopped working pretty quickly — now when I try to twist the cap, the top just spins in place without actually opening the bottle.

My husband doesn’t like a plastic taste from plastic bottled water. He drink out of this glass container with filter water in our fridge. Easy to hand wash but do not recommend to use dish washer. Soap residue taste can stay (we throw away 12 bottles for this mistakes)

Be careful with the lids –
I have had these for over a year now. They work awesome except the little rubber piece in the lid. It is what makes the bottle leak proof. Well they are not attached and literally fall out every time I take the lid off. As a result over a year I have lost all of them and now they all leak. Wish they would sell replacement lids because now these are only good for in the house. I used to put them in my bag and take them everywhere. Sadly now they just dump out. So if you are a stickler for holding the rubber piece in place every time you open a bottle you will be fine.

That said, the minor leakage doesn’t take away from the overall quality of the bottle. It’s sturdy, looks great, and most importantly, it’s eco-friendly. If you’re trying to avoid plastic and want a reliable glass bottle, this is a solid choice. Just maybe don’t go shaking it like you’re competing in a cocktail mixing contest, and you’ll be golden.

Bought these to eliminate the use of disposable plastic drinking water containers – for health, waste and pricing reasons. Beautiful clear, very sturdy bottles, slender & easy to grip with great screw on tops, that give an almost vacuum type seal holding only a few ounces more than most individual plastic bottles. We haven’t bought a case of plastic water bottles in months now and enjoying the convenience of these very much. We take them with us in the car, hiking, to the gym, work or just to keep next to the bed at night – wherever you want a handy supply of good drinking water. One caution: they can smash if dropped on a hard tile or cement surface, so I made foam handgrips (coolie’s) for them. Beats filling your body w/ more micro plastic!

I bought these glass water bottles to replace the plastic bottles in the house …. fill with filtered water and stash in fridge so the water is nice and cold. I was afraid of breaking these bottle, since I take them everywhere… so I bought neoprene water bottle sleeves which saved me from a few dropped bottles in the driveway, but they also insulate and keep contents cold !!
