These are great and the broccoli tastes fresh. Unsure as to why my review was removed for saying I love these???
DanMan & Wifey –
I’m 88, and no longer desire to eat a big meal. So, the portion size was perfect for my needs. The dish is very tasty with plenty of chicken and the inclusion of broccoli. The noodles were cooked as I like them. This was my first Amazon Kitchen meal, and I definitely will be ordering it again.

I’m not exactly a gourmand, and I enjoy things like Marie Calandar’s frozen Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo just fine. It’s not great, but it’s easy… My latest shopping trip, I decided to try a couple of these single serving meals from Amazon Kitchen, and this one was really good, worth a review.
It’s quite a bit more pricey than the frozen options, and the portion size is a bit smaller, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. The broccoli was crisp, and flavorful, the chicken tender and well portioned. The star of the show though? The Alfredo sauce. It was creamy, and buttery, thick enough to really coat the rest of the meal.
I was a bit taken aback by the price (I spent about $9 on it), but, really, these days, you’d spend that on fast food, and this is better than most of what I could get from such a place for the cost. Added benefit, the preparation was super easy. I have an 800 watt microwave, so, typically I have to add some extra time. With this? 2 and a half minutes, and it was perfect. Not cold, not scaldingly hot, and it didn’t have the characteristic chewy spongy texture of frozen microwaved food.
The portion size was a bit smaller than I’m used to, but it was still enough to fill me up and satisfy my appetite.
Would I recommend it? Would I buy it again? That’s a difficult question. It was, unquestionably, better than my usual frozen go-to, but the cost does make me have to pause. It’s balanced out by the quality, and extreme ease of preparation. So, yes, I’ll be buying this in the future.
There is a caveat; since these are made fresh, and refrigerated, they need to be eaten fairly quickly. There are still a lot of reason I might need something that can live in the freezer for an indefinite period of time. But for regular dining, as part of my weekly meals? This is a win, and I’ll definitely buy again.

This meal is super tasty; easy to heat; quick to heat; has a healthy portion; and is fresh. I’ve purchased this item several times and will continue to do so as long as they are offered. The alfredo sauce is delicious; the chicken is tender and plentiful; the broccoli is the right serving portion with the meal. Highly recommend this item.

Updated review September 23, 2025
These have time and time again been my go-to item that literally is the main reason why I buy groceries from Amazon Fresh…besides it being an easy way to get SNAP EBT groceries delivered. Anywho I was quite shocked to learn that over the past 3-ish years I’ve ordered about 100 of these 🙃 Now I will say that while I obviously LOVE the flavor of this alfredo..there are some small set backs.
The main complaint is its waaaay too overpriced for the amount. They really could at least add a bit more pasta..since that would probably only cost them a few cents! I’m usually pretty pleased with the amount of chicken but there usually is too much broccoli. And while I do enjoy broccoli..I dont always eat it with this and give it to my dog 😆
And the only other gripe I have is that it’s usually gotten be eaten within a day or 2 as it’s almost always close to the expiration date. When you see condensation on the inside top of the lid…time is ticking! As that ultimately results in it getting moldy. And in the past I had this issue but Ive learned from the millions of times I’ve ate this lol
The flavor is unlike any other Alfredo I’ve ever had and it’s seriously one of my favorite things and I have only gotten sick of eating it once in awhile but not very much these days cos due to the price I don’t risk wasting my precious 🙃
Original review from Jully 22, 2022:
This blew me away when I first tried it on a whim! Was not expecting it to be so flavorful and authentic! The sauce and cheese amounts are perfect. I love this so much I buy A LOT of them as I’ve been obsessed ever since I tried them. They used to not have them all the time but I’m glad they carry them all the time now so I don’t have to worry about them running out of stock. The one problem I have with this is its EXPENSIVE especially when I buy anywhere from 2-5 everytime I order groceries (once or twice every week or 2). I wouldn’t mind the price as much (since thank god I can get them with my ebt cos could not afford these otherwise) if they listened to everyone’s (or mostly everyone lol) requests and complaints about the skimpy portions. I had complained about this awhile back and I actually felt like maybe they listened because up until about 2-3 weeks ago the portions seemed to have gotten better and they had more noodles…sometimes they can be so skimpy I feel like I could add more pasta because there’s a decent amount of leftover sauce, but that hasn’t been much of an issue lately. Honestly it’s the frigging broccoli that is what is taking up A LOT of room and why I think they feel like they can skimp. Now I love broccoli bit for some reason don’t always eat it and give it to my dog..we all know a lot of Alfredos have broccoli and chicken in them but this is BIG florets of broccoli that is more suited for a side than to mix in with the pasta…there’s no way and it makes no sense to have such massive pieces of broccoli. Cut down the broccoli or put less in so you can add more pasta…pasta is INEXPENSIVE so it really doesn’t make much sense and really irks me that they are cool with skimping and charging $9…not cool and really hope they actually care enough to change their skimpy ways cos I would probably buy even more as I’ve cut back lately since they’re pricey and at times when I’m starving I have to eat 2! Would be a 10/10 if they added more pasta..which wouldn’t cost them more than some pocket change. The quality is there for sure but the price and portions are whack! Oh and the only other complaint I have is I’ve noticed over the past 2ish months (maybe even a little longer) that the expiration date is SUPER CLOSE to when I receive them so I will notice they have quite a bit of condensation on the inside of the lid..it’s so bad that it was making the sauce too thin and not as appetizing as it’s normally a decent thick sauce. So now I don’t heat it up with the lid on and I even have to go as far as using a paper towel to wipe away the condensation, mostly under where the broccoli is/was. It’s not like that big of a deal but for the price this really shouldn’t be a constant issue. I usually eat them within a day or 2 of expiration day..hell maybe even 3 days and haven’t had any issues with it going bad. But the giant pieces of broccoli probably add to the condensation issue. They always have quite a bit on the inside of the lid within a day or on the expiration date.
This would be 10/10 if they either lowered the price a little or added more pasta to make it worth $9. The portions are so small sometimes its like a side dish portion and I get the chicken (and raw broccoli lol) is supposed to make it more filling but I’m not a huge fan of the way they cut up the chicken cos I’ve had issues with the chicken getting too dry. Chicken could also use some seasoning..it’s not necessarily bad but that’s cos the sauce..I’m not really a fan of the chicken and usually toss out about a quarter or half of it and give it to the dog along with the broccoli when I don’t want it..as like I said it’s usually too big of florets to mix in with the pasta so it feels like more of a side to me and I’m not always in the mood..and I usually love broccoli too..but I also only like broccoli with a little bit if mayo to dip it in…some think that sounds gross but TRUST ME ITS BOMB..AND I OTHERWISE HATE MAYO. I literally only ever have mayo with my broccoli 😆 Its actually how my mama (sadly recently lost her..im heartbroken) got me to start eating it as a kid and I’ve always been a super picky eater too. I’m sure she would be happy that I’m eating more consistently now with these stocked in my mind fridge so while I have a few complaints I still freaking love this and truly hope they will change some of the downsides of if that I’ve mentioned.

This meal is both delicious and filling! It’s not super saucy, but perfectly sauced, the chicken feels like a proper serving, and the broccoli is good, slightly overcooked, but it’s still hot the spot. A bonus, in my opinion, is the container it comes in is reusable! Very happy with this purchase and will buy again.

Yummy for my tummy! Delicious meal that will fill you up!

A little lacking in flavor. If I had any fresh Parmesan and Romano cheese I’m sure it would have helped a lot.

Excellent, and has enough sauce. Broccoli tastes fresh, not over cooked, and white chicken not dried out.

Far exceeded expectations. I was expecting typical frozen food Alfredo but the sauce is very creamy and cheesy. The broccoli was fresh and perfectly steamed. Overall the taste was delicious. Well done Amazon Kitchen!

Superior to frozen dinner. All ingredients were tasty and delicious . The chicken was tender, the past al dente, the cream sauce was wonderful. Although a bit pricey, the freshness of the entree was ok. Only challenge, was trying to get the lid off. I used a knife to pierce the lid and then it came right off

Highly Addicting.
There is a reason why I didn’t attach a photo of my food. It’s because there was nothing left to take a photo of. Say what you want about Bezos but whoever he hired for Chefs are unbelievably good at their jobs. The quality of the food is incredible, the pricing is unbeatable, its not too salty, its not full of a bunch of junk preservatives. Anyone who has a problem with this either put theirs in the microwave too long or doesn’t have actual taste. Amazon do not change a single thing about these recipes, every single one is perfect.
