Overall, I’m quite pleased with this. The fact that it is fully adjustable (adding or removing foam, and they give you a bunch extra) is a massive boon as I like pillows to be pretty low profile. It feels nice to the touch, and compresses nicely but not a ton like down. The memory foam that is inside of it seems to be combined with some kind of a harder material, it’s all shredded so I can’t tell what it is, but it seems like maybe plastic or something of the kind. Hasn’t been an issue in any way, but was just weird feeling it when removing foam.
I took a point off because there seems to be some false advertising going on. You can see in their picture that there is a tag that says bamboo side, the other side of that says cooling side. They also mention it in their advertising. As far as I can tell that is not true at all. The cover unzips so that you can remove the material so you can see that there is nothing on either side of it, and both sides appear visually identical to each other. Certainly I would NOT call this a cooling pillow in any way. It’s maybe decently cool if you leave it in a cool place for a while, but over the course of the night warms up quite a bit. I did not notice any appreciable difference in the cooling of either side of it.
There is a definite noticeable smell to it, but I wouldn’t call it ‘bad’ like most memory foam things are when they come from the factory. It smells kind of like some kind of cleaning solution in a noticeable but not unpleasant sense. All in all, for the price this is a fantastic pillow and I would definitely recommend it.

I like how it feels, but I think it’s too thick or too firm to be memory foam but this pillow has cured my neck pain and I have been having better night sleep than with other pillows so I don’t complain about that! It’s not flat at all and if it is too flat they send a spare little bag with more filling so you can fill it up to your liking, the color is nice and white which helps me fall asleep better. I have gotten better sleep quality thanks to this pillow along with no more head pain or headaches during the day, and my pain has been relieved by this pillow!! It is a bit heavy to turn and toss it over but overall really great pillow! Oh and I forgot to add in: It does smell like memory foam chemicals but it’s not bad at all, it’s really faint and you can barely notice it unless you really lock into the smell then you will, it should resolve itself in a week or two!

Absolutely everything I hoped they would be. Cool to the touch, very soft but extra supportive. I am hypermobile and this pillow keepa my neck in the proper position all night. Because it stays cool no flipping is required. They have some weight to them and are made from very good quality materials. It has a slip cover that zips on that comes off for easy washing. These are worth every single penny.

I had high hopes for this cooling pillow, and at first, it delivered. For the first couple of weeks, it really did feel cool to the touch and helped me sleep more comfortably during warmer nights. Unfortunately, the cooling effect didn’t last. After about two weeks, it just felt like a regular pillow.
That said, it is comfortable. The support is nice, and it’s still a decent pillow overall—just not quite what I expected from a product marketed for its cooling properties.
If you’re looking for long-term cooling, this might not be the one. But if comfort is your main priority, it’s still a solid option.

its better than a feather pillow and soft at first but gets more firm after a few hours. i’m not usually one to complain abt product smells bc i understand that happens with new items, but the smell of this pillow was pretty bad. it doesn’t even smell like how a new item normally does it’s just bad and kinda hard to ignore. i’m sure it will go away with time but it’s something to consider if you’re sensitive to that. also haven’t noticed any improvement in neck pain so far.

Giving this product 3 stars. In terms of comfort and softness, the pillow itself gets 5 stars. But the pillow case that gives the pillow the cooling effect is honestly a scam. It stays cool for the first few nights, but as soon as you wash it, it gets a bunch of lint balls stuck to it, and doesn’t cool the same. Only one side is cooling also, so you can’t flip it to get the cold side. One side is cooling, one is bamboo. The size is great, it’s a really nice pillow overall. It’s fluffy, it forms to your head/neck, and doesn’t go flat. It’s a decent weight. After I invested in an actual cooling pillow case, this pillow has given me such good quality sleep. I love it!

Its a stuffed pillow. It isnt some floppy flimsy thing. Ive had it for a while now and its still packed. I think i even took some stuffing out. It comes with extra you add or remove to your liking. Its like My Pillow its chopped up memory foam. But feels soft not like chunks of anything.

I’ve gone through a bunch of pillows over the years, but this BETU Cooling Pillow is by far the best one I’ve ever used. I sleep in literally every position—on my back, stomach, and sides—and this pillow works perfectly no matter how I’m laying.
It really does have a cooling effect, which I love as a hot sleeper. Just make sure your room is cool too, and it makes a big difference. It came vacuum-packed, but it fully expanded within just a few hours. I was able to sleep on it the same day it arrived, and it was super comfy right from the start.

Not ideal for someone with cervical pain. Seems like a good option, however shredded foam filling is very heavy and yet small areas shift when you move, causing discomfort. Pillow doesn’t maintain firm plane unless you stuff pillow with all the filling, but then the firm, tall height of the pillow can cause cervical pain. If you remove part of the filling, the foam pieces shift and leave spaces. The lower the pillow, the more unevenness and shifting. We were expecting a lighter, more compressible foam that still filled the case without low areas, but we’ve never tried a pillow like this. We don’t find this pillow comfortable no matter how we’ve adjusted it. We purchased based on some of the favorable reviews by those with neck pain.
The construction is fine, with acceptable materials and construction, new materials, clean foam. The pillow looks fine, with two zippered shells. Be careful with the zipper of the inner shell that holds the foam pieces: the zipper isn’t sturdy and you need to be careful not to catch any threads or debris in the teeth; the ends of the zipper aren’t well secured. The foam tends to float when you adjust the pillow, so grip firmly and stuff into pillow or into storage bag.
