I loved it at first! It went on beautifully and the color was stunning! I used it alone, though, & maybe that’s not how it’s supposed to be used. As it wore on, only after minutes of wear, it sort of flaked/peeled off as I’d rub my lips together, looking quite ridiculous. I tried it again, this time just as a liner with lipstick over it & it worked a bit better that way. I still love the color but I’ll have to find a lipstick that matches to get the original color effect I had with just the liner all over.

Wet n Wild 651B Perfect pout gel lip liners… Bare To Comment
UPDATE: the colour seems to have changed – I just received a darker pigment than previously (same colour family, same shade ID on item package).
A winner – it applies smoothly, lasts well and prevents feathering, thanks to the gel formula. This shade “Bare To Comment” is a good neutral for a fair complexion, and works unobtrusively with a number of nude/tan/pinkish-brown lipstick shades. It defines the edges of the lips without being obvious, and doesn’t scream that you are using lip-liner if your lipstick doesn’t survive a meal. I prefer it to the L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Lip Liner, or the lip-liner pencils. As the product is not like a harder pencil it’s best not to extend the tip too far, to avoid breaking. The price makes it affordable to experiment.

I like this lip liner more than I anticipated I would. Goes on smooth. Looks good. I can’t comment on the lasting power because I just got it. I meant to buy one of this color and one of another color but accidentally bought two of this color and one of the other color. I’m liking this so much so far, I’m not mad about it. One of the lip liners can live in my purse, one can live in my makeup drawers at home. I LOVE that the cap snaps on! I’m sick of lip liners getting uncaped in my in-purse-on-the-go makeup bag and the point getting smashed all over the other items in the bag. This lip liner went on smoothly, looks good, didn’t cost an arm and a leg, is vegan, and the cap snaps on. If it lasts reasonably well on my lips there really isn’t anything else I can say about this. It’s a win.

I was pleasantly surprised by this lip pencil. The Perfect Pout pencils are excellent and stay where you put them. It’s helpful to note the same is NOT true of Wet n Wild’s other lip pencil lines. No luck with those at all. But these are as good or better than the more expensive pencils I have. They apply easily. The formula is neither soft or too firm. I wish they had many more colors, though. Great price!

This Wet N Wild lipliner goes on smoothly like silk and stays on until you either wipe it off or (for example) eat an apple. For me it stayed on even when I ate food with a fork or spoon because I wasn’t touching the liner. An apple, on the other hand, does touch it when eating and so it wipes off. I am pleased that the tip of the liner does not break off when applying it like some others I have tried. Also the price was very reasonable. The plum color would be attractive on any complexion. I would definitely recommend this product.

This works as a liner. If you try to use it as a full lip stain, it is so patchy and no amount of prep makes it look smooth like it does in the picture on the box. This is definitely transfer proof and the colors are pigmented.

Love this lipliner. Easy to apply. It’s not hard like a pencil yet not so creamy and mushy that it doesn’t stay. I’m ordering the same color again (gone burgundy) and a few more colors. You can wear this as a matte lipstick for sure (some other brands seem to be more suited just as a liner but I like options).
This price is crazy good for the quality of this product. I’m 57 and have been wearing makeup almost daily since I was 14 years old. I own A LOT of makeup and have tried MANY brands and though it’s fun to indulge in certain high end makeup, I always come back to drugstore. You do NOT have to spend a lot on makeup to get good quality. Obviously some are better than others but this one is one of the good ones! No taste or odor. Does what it’s supposed to for a fraction of the price as some of the Urban Decay and Fenty (among others) that I own. AND it has lasting power. No transfer either!

Nice glide, pencil didn’t break, but not mauve. I think of mauve as a medium dusty pink with purple undertones, neutral to cool-toned. Swatches online made it look like the perfect color but on me it looks more dark brown/orange than mauve. At least it was cheap. For reference I am very pale with neutral undertones. It might look more mauve on warm-toned skin with the warmer contrast but on cool/neutral skin it isn’t cool enough. I was looking for a retractable, slightly darker version of NYX loud liner in Fierce Flirt. Will have to keep looking.

From what I remember from the last time I tried Wet n Wild products was that the texture wasn’t great and the color payoff wasn’t the best. This formula definitely surprised me. It’s not heavy, the texture is amazing, the pigment is stunning and vibrant and the overall look is exactly what I wanted for a ton less. None of the stickiness and definitely feels moisturizing and not chalky!

Ok, well while I love this shade is called “I’m Blushing” and is it ever bright. You would think with a shade called I’m Blushing it would be a more natural color. It is not natural toned at all…it is very vibrant and I’d say more like a pinkish red. It really lines the lips nice with the flat tip. It certainly brightens up my face…LOL It’s way darker than I usually wear these days, but I’ll see what my daughter says if it’ll work for her wedding…It’s so vibrant I feel like “here come my lips” !! LOL

I’m 49 and it bled into the fine lines around my lips. It’s on the brownish/natural and a little mauve in the color. Glides on smooth. It’s a ‘meh’ for me only for the ‘bleeding into fine lines’ part 🫤

My favorites, most naturally looking lip liner goes with so many different glosses, I’ve been wearing it for years. It’s cheap. It stays all unwell. I love it and fully recommend it., especially for the fair complected blonde looking people. 🙂
