I think I got a bad batch. I’ve actually ordered these a few times. I loved the previous orders. (It’s all I use for yrs!) These lip-sticks last well over 8 hrs!! And the price is good. This time I ordered the kind with the lip pencils included. This time they smelled VERY strong!! This has NEVER happened before. They must have went bad somehow. It stinks 😷 until it’s dried which is no more than 10 seconds, still stays on over 8 hrs. But just thinking about how these smell makes me nauseous. I cannot use these w/this smell. Also, I won’t be buying anymore with the included lipliners. I am 59 and lipliners will bleed on my lips 👄 and these do bleed on me. So-because of the bad smell, and the lipliners just not being good enough I am giving it 2 stars. I have some of these lipsticks/lipstains left from over 5 yrs ago and they don’t stink at all and still have the great stay on power. I Was Really Disappointed 😢 in this order. The lipstick stays on so good, you can use the flat side of the applicator to line your lips. I dip a lip brush in it. Anyway, bad lipliners in the kits, and a very stinky smell. So I lost my money because I can’t use this lipstick stain with this awful smell.

PREFACE: I’m someone who enjoys makeup, but I don’t like spending too much. So I’ll try to make my review as honest as possible. I’ll provide a short & long review depending on the type of buyer you are.
SHORT REVIEW: Item is a good value for the price. Good pigment, removal requires a little extra effort, good wear time. Product does crease, dries fast, has a pleasant smell that I can’t quite name. Overall, have realistic expectations & you’re fine.

ITEM: Set B (warmer tones); 6 liners & 6 matte liquid lipsticks.
IMAGE: I swatched them on my wrist. The numbers are the lip liners in the order they are in the package. To the right of those are the lipsticks. 2 swatches per lipstick, upper line is one coat, lower line is 2 coats. Took some in natural light, with flash, and in sunlight.
PACKAGING: Packaging is pretty, love the holographic shift on the box. It’s nothing super fancy, but you’re paying $12.88; so humble yourself and have realistic expectations.
SKIN TONE: This is for my POC that worry about shades that seem to be made with white-skinned consumers in mind. I’m a biracial young lady, so my skin is about a light/medium brown, my undertone is more warm. My skin tone is similar to peanut butter, caramel in the summer. I like these shades on myself & I have no doubt that it will look great on all skin tones dark to light. The first shade matches my natural lip color the best which I would say is a dusty pink.
APPEARANCE: They have good pigment, I’m satisfied as a buyer. The color you see in the tube is almost exactly the same as when it dries. The only reason it looks different is bc in the tube it isn’t in it’s dried state. This matte lipstick does have creasing, but that’s what you get with a lot of matte cream products. You should expect this with this price-point, and I personally don’t mind the creasing too much. Creasing will be worse if you start with dry lips.
CLEANING/REMOVAL: For me I had a difficult time removing after having it applied for maybe 5 min. I first tried with just water to test it’s ease, after scrubbing with that for a few secs it still pretty much looked fully intact. When I used some soapy remover it came off quickly and was a little messy, but that’s what happens when you remove makeup. Overall I say cleaning is about the difficulty you’d expect, it’s a matte lipstick; it’s going to take a little extra effort to remove. But it’s difficulty to remove plays well into the longevity of wear.
LONGEVITY: Didn’t wear for long since I was just testing them all in one go. But they dried quickly on my lips (within 60 sec). Considering the effort it takes to remove, I imagine it would last quite well throughout your day without too much reapplication. I say that longevity greatly depends on your initial application. If you’ve done some moisturizing lip-care beforehand, then applied a regular coat, then allow it to SET before applying a 2nd coat, then it will last longer and feel more comfortable. If you were to begin with dry lips, rush the additional coat(s), and apply too much in a single coat, that’s when you get a tacky feel, clumping, inconsistency, etc.
FEEL/TEXTURE: The texture is smooth, creamy as you apply and when it dries it’s y’know… dry. That’s what you get with matte lipsticks, so it’s no surprise. Matte product= no shine= dry.
Value: Overall value I would say is good in general and for the price. Keep in mind I’m not an avid lipstick buyer, so I’m no expert, but I have a good enough knowledge of makeup to leave a decent review. I’d say if you’re someone who is realistic with expectations and understands you aren’t going to get these products at runway-model quality for 12 bucks, you’re good to go. A lot of people that leave negative reviews seem to be people who want a perfect product at the price of a penny. No product can do it all, but if this product doesn’t satisfy you, set realistic goals about what you’d like to spend and what you want to receive.

Received these today. They were originally for my daughter. She wanted the hydrating liquid lipstick, but I couldn’t get it here by Christmas. So I am keeping this for myself. I love that. This is a set with lip liners and the liquid lipstick love that. I did try on one of the lipsticks today. It is definitely waterproof is definitely Matt. The colors are on point as to what’s advertised. And this is a really nice set with really subtle sexy colors. The texture is so far so good. I don’t feel like it falls in my lips as far as in the place where they’re a little chopped. The size is very handy, but you receive a lot of product. But you could stick this in your back pocket. Liquid lipstick I used today. It stayed on all day. I would say 67 hours. I definitely recommend it 10 out of 10.

I wanted to test it out before I left a review, so, I’ve only tried two colors so far and I love them. I did the whole eat & drink wear test and I will say I am impressed! I didn’t have any issues with it coming off or getting patchy. It is a smooth application and also didn’t experience any crumbling like with other matte lip stains I’ve tried. It does however have a bit of a sticky consistency (not anything drastic) but enough to feel it, so I just put a gloss over it and it looks amazing! And again even with the gloss on it does not come off. For the price I would purchase this product again. Highly recommend for anyone who is on a budget but are trying to find something that is of quality.

This is a great choice if you’re unsure what color to get. I only like 2/3. The colors are the lightest in #1&4 and I like how easy it is to apply but then the gloss needs to be reapplied constantly and for me, the gloss kind of dries my lips out so I like to use more of a lip balm instead.

I bought the 12Pcs Matte Liquid Lipstick + Lip Liner Pens Set a few months ago. These lipsticks are really cute but they do dry out your lips. The lip liners are good and creamy, which helps a bit with the dryness. What I usually do is line my lips with the lip liner, then put like three dots of the corresponding lipstick, and mix it all together. After that, I apply some Vaseline to moisturize my lips. I don’t fully put on the lipstick unless I’m going for a full lip gloss pigmented look. Usually, I go for a natural look with this set. There is lots of pigment in these lipsticks, so even a little goes a long way. If you’re looking for long-lasting, waterproof lip color, this set is a good option, but be sure to keep your lips moisturized. I would recommend this as a cheap gift idea for birthdays or if you’re going for a subtle look and plan to put some sort of moisturizing lip balm on top.

Perfection is an understatement. I’m a red lipstick person, and I’m ready to throw out every other one I own. This is EVERYTHING.
Most red lipsticks are either too warm/brown or too cool/magenta. This perfectly walks the line of neutral, and I’m confident that it would work for anyone. It’s not cartoonishly apple-red, cherry-red, or muddy. It turns your lips into a blooming rose. Attention-grabbing, but not distracting. It has such subtlety in its glow, like it perfectly completes the magic of your skin tone. It would match any combination of undertones.
The first picture is my attempt to edit a raw photo (picture 2) to show how the color blooms in different kinds of natural light. It goes from a deep coral-inspired red to an almost neutral-undertoned deep soft red that never goes fully brick-red or brown-orange.
It could be made more glam for a gothic vibe, more subtle for a classic vibe, even subtler for a youthful vivacious flower power vibe. It is a perfect red. A universal red. Timeless and enchanting.
The perfection of the color aside, the lip liner pencil goes on smoothly, flawlessly, and blends perfectly with the lipstick. The gloss is nonsticky and buildable. It provides just enough of a flourish to the beautiful matte tone of the lipstick. Like a cherry on top, a soft glimmer of shine that isn’t sparkly (too obvious,) but that looks like a glow from within. The lipstick, the star among stars, goes on smooth-as-lip-balm, conceals any textural imperfections, and looks gorgeous.
The variety of different looks possible with this one simple set are incredible. Matte, gloss. Subtle, glam. If there existed more colors, I would buy them. I’m even inclined to buy colors that I don’t usually wear because I’m so impressed with this 3-piece set of liner/stick/gloss.
I’ve been looking for “my red” my whole life. Something I wouldn’t have to layer with other pink/dark cherry/brown tints to add achieve my dream color. This is IT. And at a price like this? Unbelievable. Legendary. I’ll be wearing this until I die.

As this was purchased as a gift for my teenage daughter, its safe to say, she really really likes these. She gets hours of wear before having to touch up. The matte colors are fantastic and the smudge resistance is wonderful as well! The colors are nice and not too exaggerative. Very subtle and some even very natural looking. She was very thrilled that she can apply this product in the morning (7am) and need no reapplication until after lunch (12:40pm). So the longevity of these lipsticks and liners are superb! Being there is 6 liners and 6 lipsticks, the value is great for items that should last you well over a year. The size of both the lipstick and the liners are perfect and get a long life out of them. It has a primer on one end and a lip plumper on the other end. So I’m not sure how great it may or may not be without using primer. For me though, I put it on and wait about 5 minutes or so before taking a sip of anything or smoking a cigarette (yeah, yeah I know ..it’s a nasty habit lol). I do get a little residual stain on the straw or the cigarette but not a lot. I put it on before leaving my house to go door dashing, and when I come home after 4-6 hours, it still looks ok! -Not great, but ok. Great for as much as I put it through in that time period though! Drinking constantly, snacking on food while driving, smoking cigs, talking and smiling a lot! It doesn’t cake or crack on me either!
The ONLY downfall at all that I’ve found, is that the colors and liners don’t have which one they are marked on them, so if you don’t want to keep them in the case, where they come side by side, you may have a hard time figuring out which liner is an exact match to which color, as some are pretty similar. For the price, I HIGHLY recommend this and think it’d make a great gift too! I think the recipient would really like this, and it definitely won’t break your bank buying the gift!! I also gave it a middle mark for the moisturizing category, because I don’t feel that it really moisturizes my lips very much, but I also don’t feel like it dries them out either. Again, I do recommend!!

This lip gloss set is very pretty, however, once you put it on, it’s not budging off, for nothing! The darker the shade the harder the removal…. its very staining. I had to remove the color with placing vaseline on my lips and rubbing off with a wash cloth. The colors are very pigmented and go on darker than what I would have thought. Also the feel is not satin like, it makes your lips feel dry, painted on, and has a weird sticky feel. If you dig color that is deep and will stay put, I would say you will probably like this set…. if you are looking for something light or neutral in color or more nude, this really is darker than nudes.

So recently I purchased this for my daughter. First off, the lipliner is good, just not the stain. The packaging was cute but extremely small! This not at all what it says it is. It’s supposed to be a matte lip stain, but instead it’s just a gloss. It comes off even after it’s supposed to be dry. The taste is horrible, she says. The smell is gross and smells like dead flowers. It’s really light and looks cake-like. Smudges a lot, which made her unhappy. It transfers but moisturizes pretty well. Flakes off. If you’re still going to buy this, make sure to apply a highly moisturizing chapstick before and give it extra time to dry. The lipliner is about the same color so you can’t tell you’ve lined your lips, although I love the shades with clear gloss. Probably will purchase the lipliner separately! The lipliner has SO much in it, it’s great. Thanks, but this just isn’t for us. I hope this can be improved, thank you for reading! 🙂 (In the review I let it dry for 2-9 minutes.)

I absolutely love the array of nude colors included in this kit. The liners are retractable which I prefer, caps stay on well. Matte lip colors have longevity stay on without staying on drinking glasses & cups which again are a huge plus. Texture is as expected for matte lip stains. The price point is perfect for me. Will recommend and keep this beautiful lip stains 👄

I bought the 12Pcs Matte Liquid Lipstick + Lip Liner Pens Set a few months ago. These lipsticks are really cute but they do dry out your lips. The lip liners are good and creamy, which helps a bit with the dryness. What I usually do is line my lips with the lip liner, then put like three dots of the corresponding lipstick, and mix it all together. After that, I apply some Vaseline to moisturize my lips. I don’t fully put on the lipstick unless I’m going for a full lip gloss pigmented look. Usually, I go for a natural look with this set. There is lots of pigment in these lipsticks, so even a little goes a long way. If you’re looking for long-lasting, waterproof lip color, this set is a good option, but be sure to keep your lips moisturized. I would recommend this as a cheap gift idea for birthdays or if you’re going for a subtle look and plan to put some sort of moisturizing lip balm on top.

As this was purchased as a gift for my teenage daughter, its safe to say, she really really likes these. She gets hours of wear before having to touch up. The matte colors are fantastic and the smudge resistance is wonderful as well! The colors are nice and not too exaggerative. Very subtle and some even very natural looking. She was very thrilled that she can apply this product in the morning (7am) and need no reapplication until after lunch (12:40pm). So the longevity of these lipsticks and liners are superb! Being there is 6 liners and 6 lipsticks, the value is great for items that should last you well over a year. The size of both the lipstick and the liners are perfect and get a long life out of them. Very happy with this item!

I really like this set, especially for the variety. It comes with a lot of shades, which makes it easy to mix and match and create different lip combos depending on the look I’m going for.
The lip oils feel hydrating and give a nice glossy finish without feeling too heavy or sticky. The liners pair well with the oils and help pull the whole look together.
It’s a great option if you like switching up your lip looks or experimenting with different combinations.
