After Tarot explores what the cards would look like just moments after the usual scenes with which we are most familiar. For instance, what would happen to The Fool moments after putting his foot over the cliff? Find out in the revolutionary After Tarot.
Kit includes 78-card deck and a 160-page guidebook.
The companion booklets for most Lo Scarabeo decks are in five languages: English, Spanish, French, Italian, and German.

Esse Deck é lindo! Qualidade de impressão e papel ótimos. Tamanho das cartas ótimo. O livro completo e a caixa linda e super resistente. Eu comprei em promoção, o que tornou minha compra ainda mais valiosa.

Brilliant idea and execution of these 2 decks of before & after. I gave both decks as a gift to my friend and she loved them

I received these cards and decided to sit down and learn them for a few hours today. Firstly, I did a fair amount of research on which deck that I should order, so I had an idea of what I wanted: something similar to the popular Waite-Smith deck. What I received is exactly what I wanted. It is artfully crafted, with symbolically rich photos and an equally rich guidebook for beginners (although, I will say that there is not enough written on the significance of the suits, namely their elemental and colour associations, so I had to do a bit of external research to figure it out more quickly). I did my first reading on my boyfriend and the cards just spoke to me. Then I did mine and picked a card about our future together. It was a wonderful first experience, is all I will say. If you’re drawn to these and their art, get them!

I really like the size of the cards. They are about the same size as regular tarot decks but are a bit slimmer so they fit into my hands easily. (my hands are small though). The quality is very good. The images are vibrant and the card weight is heavier than most standard tarot decks such as the traditional Rider Waite deck. However, it’s not as thick as some of the Oracle decks that can be hard to shuffle.
The book is also very good quality with glossy pages and color images. The descriptions are organized by number instead of by suit. It was different for me but I don’t really use the book much anyway. When I did/do use the book, I enjoy connecting with the cards by number. The Major Arcana are also lumped in by number.
All in all, I love the concept of what happens next. I find these cards most useful as clarifiers rather than for primary use. This was a great addition to my growing collection.

This deck is amazing. How much fun I am going to have opening up my readings. By looking at the card’s as if they are in literal movement mode. Highly recommend to anyone who has after pulling a card wonders what happens next and how it would look.

I don’t typically write Amazon reviews, but I felt the need to for this deck because the guidebook for this is absolutely atrocious! If you are a newbie to tarot, DO NOT take anything this guidebook says seriously, especially under the Basic Safeguards section. At first I thought it might be satire, but it is not lol. However, the actual deck itself is lovely and it really opens up the entire RWS world so beautifully. I wish the guidebook was written by someone more professional and of this world because the way it’s sectioned is annoying and it doesn’t give a full picture of what the new symbols in the cards mean.

These cards are really gorgeous. They are great quality too, they feel like they’ll really hold up over time.
Comes in a beautiful magnet sealed box with a nice book! Highly recommend!

The book is a little bit corny, if I’m being completely honest. It also has a few typos.
However, the content is laid out nicely in a well made hand book that enables easy navigation.
The cards are fabulous. They’re quality card stock with a high gloss finish for a lustrous shine. The illustrations are gorgeous, and saturated. The idea of this set itself is unique.
The packaging is perfect. These cards come in a large, sturdy, illustrated box (same style as the cards) for safe keeping. A lot of beauty and quality for such a low price. Definitely worth the purchase. It would be a nice addition to any reader’s collection.

My GO TO Tarot Deck!!! I absolutely LOVE my After Tarot Deck. These are my favorite at the moment. I love the journey it takes you beyond the original Rider Waite Deck you know and are familiar with. These explore the moments right after the initial image and give you some subconscious depth to the meaning of the cards. It’s really cool. I do have a complaint tho and it’s really where they could have improved. It has nothing to do with the deck itself. It has to do with the guidebook that they give you. I always use this as reference to my readings, and the way they had grouped the card. Meanings was by numbered rather than like suite or natural order. That can get a little bit confusing and it might’ve just been a little bit easier to just do them in their original order cause you have to think about where the card is in reference to the number it represents. But that’s not the issue. The issue is with the court cards. They totally skimped out on a thorough card explanation. Whereas they gave every other card in the deck, a two page detailed breakdown, with the court cards. It is a half. A**ed measly little paragraph that gives absolutely no insight. You’re better off just googling the court card and getting information on it online because for the pages the knights the kings and the queens there is just no real information or breakdown to what the cards mean. And the court cards are super important. They’re a pivotal part of reading tarot. So this felt really incomplete and having a really solid guidebook is going to be essential and giving the reader supplemental data to help deepen their understanding of the cards and give them structure and guidance when doing your readings. This is my only strife with this deck. But the deck itself is absolutely amazing. The cards are beautiful. The images are insightful. It’s really cool. I’ve definitely gotten used to this deck. It’s my go to. I would love to buy the other decks in the series too. She’s got a before tarot too, which is the moment before the original image. Just a really cool beautiful deck!!!

Oh my gosh, I could not wait to write a review about this awesome AFTER TAROT KIT! As I have other tarot decks and have found that for me in my readings, they give a true to life reading of who I am when asking the tarot cards. This tarot deck is amazing and what comes after in all the cards is very descriptive and helpful in the readings. The deck is gorgeous and artwork is very beautiful, cards are light but substantial in weight and not too big as some decks are…I know some people did not like the book, but, I love it and I loved how you can find the cards more easily with this book about the individual cards, by keeping the ones together in all the suits, the 2’s together in all the suits, and 3’s and so on…love that about this. And I loved the description and the suggested interpretation for each card that was given. For me it was right on the dime! The box it comes in is very sturdy indeed, can’t carry it in your purse ( I would if I could) but would hold together nicely the kit, in a briefcase of Sachel of a sort, maybe with your water in it too?! All in all, I HIGHLY recommend this kit and the After tarot deck without any hesitation….I may not be an experienced card reader, but this deck I feel will get me there without a doubt and was a pleasure to use!!! Blessings, JoAnna

J’adore ce jeu qui nous permet de voir le Rider-Waite sous un angle différent. Le livret est très complet et explique le choix de l’auteur. Seul bémol, il est en anglais sinon je suis très satisfaite de mon achat

Beautiful imagery and tells an eye opening story that helps to remember the card meaning in tandem with an original Rider Waite imagery deck and the Before Tarot Kit. Comes with a helpful and detailed guide book that’s full sized.

LOVE these cards. I love the muted colors on the cards and the design on the back of the cards. I enjoy using them for clarifying cards or to see what is coming up. They give an added dimension to any reading. The deck has the same amount of cards as traditional decks, but the entire deck is thicker. I’m not sure why because the cards don’t feel any thicker than my Rider Waite deck. They are a little slippery to shuffle, but once you work with them a bit, it gets easier. This is one of my favorite decks and is good for a beginner or an experienced reader.

I LOVE the deck — the artwork, the feel, the vibrancy! So perfect! However I’m disappointed with the manual — it starts out great with helpful information but it just seems that towards the end, the writer/editor got lazy. There are sooo many typographical errors, missing bullet points, and the information on each card becomes less and less towards the end. Especially disappointed with the description on the Pages because there are no explanation for the new symbols included like the gnome in Page of Pentacles. It would be great if they could explain the significance and why it’s added since that symbolism isn’t included in the original deck.
Great deck for intermediate to expert readers.
