I really was excited by this Tarot deck. I teach Tarot reading and I collect decks as well. I was excited to receive this one, but was disappointed the illustration is so far away from Pamela Smith Coleman’s style of drawing. I feel like it really would have been a perfect deck had the illustrations married the mutually situated cards in the deck via the symbolism and illustrations. It is a unique deck, and I appreciate it for exactly what it was intended. This deck is not for the beginning reader, but for those who would like to dive deeper after mastering the standard 78 card deck.

First off what I love about this deck is that it helps explain the storyline of the fool’s (hero) journey. It helps give some insight on what happens in between the transitions, or what I would say as between the lines. This is a great stand alone deck or a deck to use with others decks as a clarifier reading. I would even think this could be a good deck for semi new people to tarot to help understand the cards in a deeper level, but it likely would be best enjoyed by professional readers or people with more experience. The guidebook is a worthwhile read, card quality is perfect. The box is huge, but that’s not a bad thing as the guidebook is pretty large and it’s got to fit somehow

This is my first deck ever so I don’t have much to compare to. I’ve spent the last 6 weeks really studying tarot and tapping in to my intuition. This deck feels very balanced in acknowledgement of dark and light. This deck has a interconnectivity that considers the journey’s impact on your present. I am so glad that the artwork captivated me as this may not be the best starter deck for all but I have had a rich and rewarding challenge in this deck!!!

Waite symbol generation but conjucted with later and before card meanings. I will not recommend for begginners, but later on everybody should have to seize the moment more specifically.

I love love love this deck! I must begin by saying it is not for someone who has little to no “intimate” knowledge of the tarot. YOU MUST KNOW YOUR STUFF to understand the art. It is deep. Someone wrote about the lack of female presence in the queen cards but I beg to differ. It is not all of them as she stated. For example the Queen of Swords is depicted as a man yet if you know your stuff you know a queen in her swords energy is a COMPLETE B****! very masculine energy, now imagine that energy morphing into the King of Swords. Suddenly it makes perfect sense why they did what they did. The artistry is captivating. They do require effort to decipher yet the book is helpful in the simplest way. I have no regrets about this deck.

Gorgeous presentation box, amazing beautiful book, has a uses of symbology and numerology page as well as explaining the pagan elements correspondence to cups wands, swords and pentacles. The major arcana pages have a beautiful full page picture, full colour of the card one side and a full page explanation the other. The minor arcana has a half page full colour picture and the other half a full explanation. Gorgeous
I love the concept of bridges that the author introduces into her deck it’s amazing what it helps to bring out in your intuition, a reading seems much more profound. The cards are a good card stock and not overly glossy, they fit nicely in my hand . At the back there are several spreads to try out using this ‘bridge’ concept , I’m delighted with this and I cannot wait to begin working with them . If your thinking of investing, do so you will not be disappointed. They are an amazing tarot deck and one I’m sure I will have on my ‘special shelf’ ASAP 🌟🧡✨

What a fascinating deck this is! I am so very glad I added it to my collection, and now I will explore with you why. Tarot cards, each on their own, tell a story. In a spread, cards combine to tell an even bigger story. But what’s being explored here in the In Between Tarot, is how the Majors, the Minors, and the Court cards connect one to the next to tell their stories of growth and development.

Author Janine Worthington, takes us on 5 separate (yet connected) journeys with this deck (well 9 journeys if you count the Court cards as separate journeys), showing how in each of the 4 suits and the Major Arcana the cards connect one to the next and so on till you reach the final card (which then connects back to the first card! It is akin a Journey of the Fool in all of the suits.

So, on each card, there is symbology that connects one card to the one following it (examples: The Fool/Magician, Magician/High Priestess, etc.). At the end of the Majors, the World connects back to the Fool, which makes perfect sense. It’s clear Worthington has really flushed out this concept well with the Major Arcana. But this deck was created first as a Major Arcana deck and then the concept was expanded to the minors.

In the Minor Arcana, Card 10 connects back to the Ace card in the suit. The Court cards connect one to the other with the King card connecting back to the Page, which I think is an awesome concept depicting the circle of life. It is interesting to note that two Queens (Cups and Swords) depict men and two Kings (Wands and Coins) depict women. An interesting balance achieved; male energy as both power/control (Swords) and nurturing (Cups) and feminine energy as both earthy (Coins) and Wands (Fire/masculine energy). Love that synergy!

I love the artwork but did not quite resonate with some of the suit themes (suffragette movement for Pentacles), but really, it does not detract from my overall opinion of the deck. I took a picture of some of my favorite Major In Between cards and here’s how I see them. The High Priestess / Empress card beautifully reflects the blending of the energies of these 2 cards! The Empress / Emperor depicts a sharing of power. And the Emperor / High Priest reveals power and authority by showing someone who controls people’s lives and someone who controls people’s souls. I threw in a picture of the Hermit / Wheel because I loved the depiction of the Hermit sitting on the Wheel surrounded by the 4 elements! And there is a picture of one of Male Queen to King cards and female King to Page cards.

I give this 5 stars because of the uniqueness and out-of-the-box thinking that went into conceiving it. It brings the concept of the Fools’ Journey from the esoteric realm of the majors to the minors, reminding everyone that each aspect of our lives can be its own Fool’s Journey. This deck is great for both the seasoned practitioner and those who are maybe a year or 2 into their Tarot journey. It broadens your perspective. I think you can read for others fine with this deck, but I plan on using it mostly for personal reflection and self-discovery as well as a way to dive deeper in my Tarot studies.

I have owned InBetween Tarot for a couple of years and have completed dozens of written readings for online reading requests. Initially, it took a little bit to get used to, like driving a sports car after driving your mother’s station wagon. I quickly got the hang of the method, and then really started to enjoy reading with this deck. The additional insight it gave me was exceptional. Being able to explore the In Between space, the realm bridging the space in between the cards, added an expansive interpretation to my readings. This was supported by the enthusiastic feedback I received. I also read at psychic fairs and markets in my region. I did 14 readings with the In Between Tarot last weekend. I had not used the deck before for face-to-face readings. It was an instant hit with the clients; they loved its art and the different themes of the suits. I was impressed by how it enabled me to thread the reading together using Janine Worthington’s In Between method. It was an easy and pleasant jump from traditional RWS-style decks. A couple of the readings were for fellow Tarot readers. They were interested and impressed by the insight, accuracy, and detail of the reading. This is an excellent deck for those who have the basics down and want to take their readings further. I felt buoyed from the experience of using the Inbetween Tarot today. I have another psychic fair this weekend and cannot wait to use it again.
