A fantastic product! Not the right shade for me unless I’m mixing it with a rose like lipstick. (I’m a cool winter/summer) Goes on very well without having to press down too hard. Lasted on me for about 2-3 hours before reapplying and that’s with drinking from my Owala cup.

NYX LIPLINERS ARE A STAPLE IN ANY MAKEUP COLLECTION! I now own 11 different shades of these NYX lipliners alone (oops), but they’re so worth it! I have no regrets, the price is amazing and they last forever! It took me almost a whole year to finish 1 lipliner, seeing as I use it almost every day; they’re such great quality, easy to carry so the size isn’t an issue and they beat most high end liners for a fraction of the cost. It’ll usually last me 12-14 hours a day and then I’ll have to touch up, but that depends on whether or not you use a lip primer, lipstick, lipgloss, etc. I never feel like I’m wearing it, it’s so light, yet effective and plumps my lips so well!
I never gatekeep products to anyone and this is no different. You’ll be doing yourself a favor by purchasing this lipliner. There’s a large selection of shades catered to all skin tones so you can find what works best for you and the swatches displayed online are quite accurate. Honestly, I’m never going to stop hyping this product up, It’s one of my absolute favorites!

Got 809 Mahogany shade and loved it. Seems to be doing a good job and makes the lip look vibrant and nice. Easy to apply as well. It is very reasonably priced. I would recommend it overall. I may end up trying more shades that are available in the listing.

I’ve tried a lot of lip liners over the years, but the NYX Slim Lip Pencil has really impressed me. The formula is creamy enough to glide on easily without tugging, yet firm enough to give clean, precise lines. It sharpens well and doesn’t break like some other budget-friendly pencils I’ve used.

I am so disappointed and do not understand why make up brands change their formula, in this case the entire colour of the product and still call it by the same name. The Ever shade was the only shade that I could use on a daily basis as a brown girl. It was my version of a natural lip and was perfect. The product I received under the same name and shade number is completely different. Its another pink lip liner, nothing like the original Ever shade and I’m so confused why NYX have done this and can sell it under the same name.
The only reason I’m giving a 2 rather than 1 star, is the fact that the formula seems to be the same, it’s still soft and pigmented but the colour is not Ever.. the bottom shade is the original Ever which looks very natural and blends with my skin tone and the top is the new version which you’ll see is very pinky and looks very different on my lips.

I recently tried the NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Slim Lip Pencil in Peakaboo Neutral, and while I love the creamy formula that glides on easily and the beautiful neutral shade, the staying power is lacking. It tends to fade after a few hours, especially after eating or drinking. Overall, it’s a decent lip liner for the price, but if you’re looking for long-lasting wear, you might want to consider other options.

This pencil is creamy, smooth, and super pigmented, it glides on easily without pulling and gives great color payoff. I also love that it’s not sticky or waxy, and it has a nice medium thickness, not too thin and not overly chunky, so you can really control your lines.
It doesn’t have any strong scent, which I appreciate, no weird chemical or perfumey smell. It also wears well throughout the day. I didn’t notice much smudging unless I was eating something oily, so I’d say it’s fairly smudge-resistant for a traditional pencil liner.
The “Natural” shade, though, wasn’t what I expected based on the name and photo. It showed up a bit warmer and darker than I had in mind. Still a pretty shade, just not the subtle nude I thought I was getting.
The pencil is standard size, easy to sharpen, and the quality feels solid overall, especially for the price. I’ll definitely try other shades in this formula, just with a closer eye on swatches.
