Not iron, but weak painted metal.
Sticks & hard to clean.
Vette Pilot –
This is a very nice couples pan as it fits side to side across either a front or rear burner without blocking the others. The ribs across the bottom prevent any seasoning from being burnt as a flat bottomed frying pan or grill might. We use ours for burgers, chops and steaks and it sears all and cooks them perfectly. After a dozen + uses the non stick surface is extremely easy to clean without a soak and just a sponge.
This would be a five star review if stay cool handles of silicone or another suitable material were provided, but sadly they are not. Just remember to keep a hot pad handy before you need one as a reminder that the handles are as hot ss the cooking surface!

I’m so happy with this pan I had to write a review. It heats evenly and cleans up like a dream. Dishwasher friendly and sturdy but not too heavy. I debated if I should buy a cast iron grill or something lighter weight and I made a great choice! Buy it, you won’t be disappointed!

Excellent pan. Well balanced, not heavy. Cleans up easily and distributes heat well

When this arrived, I almost laughed and immediately dismissed it.
It’s so lightweight that it feels like a cheap toy.
I gave it a try though and I am now singing it’s praises.
– being so light weight turned me off at first, but I now consider it a positive thing – – – it’s so lightweight that it makes it so easy to handle, move around, store and clean.
The non-stick finish literally just wipes clean without needing to scrub or work at it at all.
– the heat is definitely concentrated in the center of this grill pan. This is good in that it allows you to push cooked items to both sides to keep warm while cooking other things in the middle.
What this doesn’t allow though, is to grill a large amount at the same time.
You will definitely need to juggle and move items around on this pan because things in the middle will cook three times as fast as things on either side.
I am using this on an induction top, so this issue presents itself even more so than (I think) if using on a gas range.
Last night, I grilled some zucchini and ahi steaks.
I grilled the zucchini first, moved those to the sides of the pan, then put the ahi in the middle. The ahi took no time at all, and the zucchini was kept nice and warm in the process.
Having both items nice and hot to dish up at the same time is definitely a plus.
– It’s probably not large enough for a family, but for the two of us, it’s perfect.

This griddle pan is well-made and heats up very fast. It also leaves nice sear marks on meat, such as steaks, pork chops, chicken breasts, and hamburgers. As for eggs, I would use a regular, non-stick frying pan. I also like the fact that it has a glass cover.

Love this little pan! No need for oiling it. Reheats meats great. And leaves super grill marks on the meat.

Bought the 9″. I like this pan so much, I’m buying the 11″ too. If they had flat non-grilling pans, I’d buy them too. The folding handle is fantastic and makes cleaning in the dishwasher so much easier,
I cooked a 6oz burger on the pan and was doubtful I’d see the grilling marks but they were there. The burger came out better than most I cooked on regular pans. Cooking bacon on it was equally amazing, dripping the grease away from the bacon. Cleanup for both was super simple, rinsing in the sink with hot water, just about cleaned it off without having to even grab the sponge (but I did put it in the dishwasher) and while it was soaking in the sink with soapy hot water, where every other pan I have lays in on an angle, this one sits perfectly flat because of the folding handle and that also made squeezing into the dishwasher easy as pie. I plan on also trying chicken breast and steak in the near future but I doubt there will be anything to complain about.
My only complaint is they need to come out with flat, square pans with folding handles. It looks like a market no one has jumped into before. If they did, I’d but them immediately.

The grill works great on my electric stove.! It cooked the food very quickly without burning it. I sprinkled oil on it before I used it per the instructions. I was amazed by how easy it was to clean. I used a soft sponge and soap and it worked great. I highly recommend it.

Love this pan. Recently bought an electric outdoor grill. I have used the pan to cook burgers, chicken & steaks. The steaks have grill marks & are cooked perfectly! Easy to clean. A perfect way to cook outside or inside.

OMG.. this pan is great. Easy clean up too. Be careful with the handles tho… they get hot so need a mitt to pick up with.

I’m extremely happy with this grill pan. I purchased it to replace a much more expensive model that was ruined by someone in my household. From the first use, I could tell this was a high-quality piece of cookware at an excellent value. The nonstick surface works beautifully — food releases easily without sticking, and cleanup is quick and simple.
The grill lines give meats and vegetables that classic grilled look and flavor, even when cooking indoors. I’ve used it for steaks, chicken, burgers, and even grilled vegetables, and everything cooks evenly. The heat distribution is impressive, whether I’m using it on my induction cooktop or gas range.
The pan feels sturdy and well-constructed, not flimsy or lightweight. It heats up quickly and maintains consistent temperature throughout cooking.

Nice grill pan. I do recommend buying the silicone handle covers. The handles get VERY hot!! Cooks evenly and makes grill marks that look like a bar b a grill was used. Easy clean up!! Highly recommend.

– I’m using this on an induction cooktop so there are a couple of induction specific things to keep in mind:
1) The contact point for an induction cooktop is in the middle of this pan, so the heat is definitely concentrated in the center of this grill pan. This is good in that it allows you to push cooked items to both sides to keep warm while cooking other things in the middle.
This is bad b/c you definitely need to juggle and move items around on this pan because things in the middle will cook three times as fast as things on either side.
You also cannot “join” 2 cook areas to heat the entire pan b/c the cooktop only senses that one area in the middle of the grill pan.
2) This also doesn’t allow you to grill a large amount at the same time.
Again, this is specific to using it on an induction cooktop so I don’t imagine it would be an issue if using on a gas range.
Sometimes, it works as a benefit though – – – ie last night, I grilled some zucchini and ahi steaks.
I grilled the zucchini first, moved those to the sides of the pan, then put the ahi in the middle. The ahi took no time at all, and the zucchini was kept nice and warm in the process.

You can even used it in the oven to bake beef ribs! Or grill anything! Very useful and easy to clean, 🧽 great quality! It worth it to buy it, also reasonably priced, is burn resistant! You can also used it on top stove or even grill! Excellent product 👍

I love, love the pan. I use it with 2 burners to grill chicken and burgers. Cooks evenly.

Great pan so far! Wipes clean after it cools down. So far we’ve done burgers, steak and chicken and had no issues of sticking. Clover is heavy and pan is lighter than cast iron. Hoping to give it 5stars after we’ve used it longer.
