Color worked out fine, had to switch covergirl foundations cause they discontinued the one I always use. Does not take much for a smooth look. Not cakey.

If you are over 50 and looking for a moisturizing make up that gives you excellent coverage this makeup could be the answer. I have worn make up every day since I was 17 years old. I am now 71. I have tried just about every make up on the market during my life time. I have age spots and freckles and this make up helps to make me look younger and hide fine lines. People are always commenting how young I look and I shocked when they discover my age. A good foundation can make all the difference in the world when you reach a certain age. For me this is a winner.

The COVERGIRL & Olay Simply Ageless 3-in-1 Liquid Foundation is truly a game changer. It blends effortlessly into the skin, providing smooth, even coverage that instantly minimizes the look of fine lines, pores, and uneven tone. The formula feels lightweight and hydrating, never cakey or heavy, and leaves my skin with a natural, radiant finish that lasts all day. I love that it combines makeup and skincare, my skin looks healthier and more refreshed every time I wear it. Perfect for everyday use or special occasions, this foundation delivers flawless results with comfort and confidence. Highly recommend!

I’ve always been sort of a makeup snob. I’m good to use drug store brands for certain things but historically I used Clinique for foundation. Recently the price went up (it was already pretty pricey) on the Clinique foundation I have used for years and I simultaneously noticed that I didn’t like it as much anymore either. Could be that Clinique changed the formula or it might just be that my skin is changing. I notice sometimes when using products for too long, it’s time to switch it up. My biggest hang up with switching foundations or concealers, in particular, is that I have to guess what my color is in a different line and might get it home and be disappointed.
I went on the Ulta website and used their foundation color match tool (a wonderful thing for those who don’t know about it) and thought well, Cover Girl has always marketed this one to women in their 40s (I am now 43) so I’ll give it a shot at $13.99. And, I absolutely love it! I especially love on Amazon that it’s under $10. A little bit goes a long way, the color is perfect, the product is soft, dewy, easy to apply and blend. It’s so much of a less expensive option than Clinique. I think foundation is a bit more unique to someone’s skin than say an eyeshadow or something so this might not be the best foundation for everyone to use but I love it and love the price!

Let me start by saying my favorite foundation is made by Younique. They discontinued it and I have been searching for 3 years for the perfect foundation to replace it. This is by far the best that I have tried. The Natural Ivory is a perfect color match for my skin tone. While this is not an areole foundation it feels like it! It is so soft while applying, blends perfectly using a kabuki brush and last all day with a light feel on the skin. I will be purchasing again! I am in my mid 40’s however I have been in menopause since I was 21 so my skin is way older than I am, I put a lot of effort into taking care of it, and I feel like this foundation does not damage that work. I haven’t had any adverse reaction to it such as breakouts etc. Way to go covergirl!! I will be adding the powder for a light dusting as I like a very matte finish.

I have used It’s Cosmetics CC cream for years until I found this product. WOW! I am 45 years old and have some fine lines under my eyes. Other brands left make up in the creases. This is the only one I have used that doesn’t. Pro: it’s great for skin, has hydrating and brightening ingredients. It applies well. I use my fingertips then blend with a soft brush. I was surprised how well it stayed in place all day. Medium to full coverage, it’s buildable. Con’s: it took three different shades to find the right one. The cost is great! Good value for the money. This is my new go to!

This is the best foundation I’ve found to match my skin color exactly. Pictures of color are usually deceiving, especially certain colors of clothing and makeup, so happy to find this.
It sure doesn’t take much to put on, it’s creamy and covers perfectly. plus lasts all day! You certainly won’t be disappointed like I was before I found this.
Thanks Covergirl and Olay, Simply Ageless made my day!!

Covers very good, moisturizes very well. Hides wrinkles and skin spots immediately. I am not to crazy about the scent. It does have a good natural look.

NEW FAVORITE PRODUCT! I don’t wear foundation much because I have never found a product that does not either dry out my skin, make it oily, or look caked on. Until now!! I wear this daily an hope they never stop making it! Finally, a product that goes on smooth, matches skin tone, lasts all day, and feels light/good going on!! Worth the $ and surprised it’s not more!! It covers up gently but still provides a natural look.

I’m 41 and I absolutely love this foundation! It’s very lightweight but has great coverage. It smooths over my wrinkles. Color matches my skin so my face matches the rest of my skin. Love the price!

Have been using this product for years! Goes on smoothly, covers flaws & blemishes, and has barely any scent. The pump works consistently and bottle holds up to occasional falls on the bathroom tile floor. Great product! Just find the right color for your skin and you’re set!

I’ll start this review with what I like about the formula. It’s silky, applies easily, and doesn’t settle into fine lines. The shades are fairly easy to match, no super pink or orangey undertones.
Some things I don’t like.
The foundation dries very quickly so you cannot take your time with blending or applying.
It’s not good coverage. Extremely light coverage, more like what you’d expect from a BB cream or tinted moisturizer. This is a bit annoying for me because I have patches of redness I wish this would cover, and it doesn’t even come close. It also transfers off the face very easily. It’s not what I’d call moisturizing, I have to apply a moisturizer before I wear it or it dries my skin out. It’s not the worst foundation I’ve ever used, but I don’t believe it’s good for problem/dry skin. I won’t buy it again.
Really happy have ordered again great match with my hair –
Best foundation I have ever used ,perfect shade for my skin & hope it is never deleted Covergirl makeup is the best .Started buying online as not all chemist’s have it & Chemist warehouse don’t have this shade 220 in stock seem’s to be most popular

It looks very skin like and very little settling in creases. Feels good on the face. I gave it only three stars because it was the wrong shade and didn’t match my skin and there is no option for easy return. I bought another shade and it works great but I’m stuck with the other bottle.

I am a fair low-chroma, cool-leaning neutral with beige as the most dominant undertone in my skin. I can’t tell you how many years of BAD foundation it took me to figure that out. 205 is a fair-light neutral shade. It skews true beige, being neither yellow, peach, nor pink. I know this because I applied it to my lower face and neck under direct sunlight, and I could hardly tell where the foundation ended and my natural skin began. Hours later it still hadn’t turned yellow, peach, or pink on me. I’ve heard that the OG drugstore brands (like Covergirl) use an older method of color mixing that works better for neutral undertones. So this CG is a winner for me as far as undertone and depth. It’s great to have a reliable foundation option that’s sold everywhere.
However, it falls shy of five stars: The coverage is light to medium at best. Though it has an elegant, almost “whipped” feel when pumped out of the bottle, it looks diffused when applied to skin. It evens out complexion, but doesn’t cover flaws very well. It’s also fragranced, and I’m not sure who in 2026 still wants scent in their makeup. It does fade relatively quickly. But it’s a foundation that stops short of delivering everything.

I absolutely love CoverGirl Olay 3-in-1 Foundation! This foundation truly lives up to its name. It goes on smoothly, blends beautifully, and gives my skin a flawless, even finish without feeling heavy or cakey.
What really sets it apart is how lightweight and comfortable it feels all day. It provides great coverage while still looking natural, and it doesn’t settle into fine lines. My skin feels hydrated and looks brighter, which I appreciate. Especially on long days.
It lasts for hours without fading and gives me that polished, put-together look with minimal effort. Definitely a staple in my makeup routine. Highly recommend!

I am a fair, low-chroma cool-neutral with a mostly beige undertone. <– I can't tell you how many years of BAD mismatched foundation it took me to figure that out. But here I am, a survivor, on the other side. 205 is a fair-light neutral shade. It skews true beige, being neither yellow, peach, nor pink. I know this because I applied it to my lower face, jaw, and neck under direct sunlight and I could hardly tell where the foundation ended and my bare skin began. Hours later it still hadn't gone yellow, peach, or pink on me. I've heard that the OG drug store brands – such as Covergirl, Revlon, and L'Oreal – use an older method of color mixing that tends to work better for neutral undertones. So this is a winner for me as far as undertone and depth. It's nice to have such a reliable foundation option that's sold everywhere.
However, it falls just shy of five stars: The coverage is light to medium at best. Though it has an elegant, almost “whipped” feel when pumped out of the bottle, it looks diffused when applied to skin. It evens out complexion, but doesn’t cover flaws very well. It’s also fragranced – I’m not sure who in 2026 still wants perfume in their makeup. It’s a foundation that stops short of delivering everything.

As soon as I applied this product it felt so smooth and creamy. It even toned my face and does hide wrinkles. The only thing is that I do feel my face a little greasy throughout the day If I dont blot or use powder. I like this product as a 45 year old and would definitely recommend as the price is great for the product. Would definitely purchase and recommend to others.
