A brand I used to buy from Amazon started shipping rancid product. So, I tried this. Very fresh! I hope they make sure their inventory STAYS fresh.

This oil is fantastic. Macadamia nut oil has a great nutritional profile and when compared to avacado, olive or coconut oil it does as well or better in comparison. The taste is very close to melted butter with just a hint of the nut taste. I dont cook with it but top all my entrees and some sides like rice or potatoes. Use it in all my blended smoothies. Its great atop burritoes and wraps. Perfect for salad dessings mixed with balsamic vinegar. Great on my morning eggs and hashed browns. Uses are almost endless and tastes so good i look forward to meals. Oils like macadamia nut have an antimicrobial effect that kills off the bad actors in the digestive system so meals digest properly and calms the bloat and gas. This oil is top quality and fresh and delivers all the benefits just described and only fresh oil can deliver those results.

Absolutely obsessed with this macadamia nut oil! Grown under the golden sunshine of Byron Bay—literally the perfect place for macadamias—it’s buttery-smooth, clean, and gives my stir-fries and veggies a rich, nutty glow. The high smoke point means zero burnt flavor, and it adds a touch of Aussie magic to every dish. Pure sunshine in a bottle! 🇦🇺☀️

I am reviewing Jindilli farms brand Macadamia Nut Oil, which at the time of this review was $24.99 for a 16.9fl oz bottle. Overall a pretty good oil, both for frying and for salads/dippings. It does have a nice slightly buttery flavor and mouthfeel; it worked quite well with some pancakes I made: no burning like butter, and no weird flavors like vegetable oils.
I got this primarily because it’s advertised as a high smoke point oil, and since I do a lot of stir frying, that was attractive to me. Unfortunately, I think this might be a little misleading. According to Colorado State University, Macadamia Nut Oil has a smoke point of about 390F and they recommend to use low heat. A 390F smoke point is comparable to a virgin olive oil (not EV, just V). When *I* use a high heat oil, I’m looking for something in the high 400’s, like a Rice Bran, Safflower, or Avocado oil, which range between 450 to 520.
It *IS* a good oil overall, and I look forward to finding new and flavorful uses for it in the kitchen…but if you’re looking for a real high heat oil, I’d skip this one.

I love cooking with macadamia nut oil. It give a nice light nutty taste to whatever you’re cooking. I love popping popcorn in it.

No buttery flavor, and the smell upon opening bottle was just off. The color was ok, but this company produces the original Cold pressed Mac Nut Oil, which I’ve used for over a decade. This was like a very poor substitute.
