Very tasty with honey, ACV and ginger for salad dressing, or in ramen. Spectrum always produces a quality product.

I’ve been buying canola oil for some time, because it is often listed among the healthiest oils, being high in both monounsaturated fat polyunsaturated fats. It also has a mild flavor, so it’s useful when I cooking a dish in which I don’t want the oil flavor to distract from the other ingredients. Good olive oil is both healthy and delicious, but it can be very expensive and the flavor enhances some foods but not all.
Recently I’ve read reports that express some reservations about the clean health record of canola oil. According to these reports that a chemical used to extract the oil from the seed’s hull may be toxic. I’m not sure how serious an issue this really is, however, and much nutritional science recommendations seem to shift every few years.
Sunflower oil is another fairly neutral-tasting, healthy oil; I may switch to that type just in case the recent medical concerns I mentioned may be so.

3 fun ways to open this bottle of canola oil, and all three have to be followed. Tools: waiters key (wine opener). First you open this bottle of oil as a fine wine, cutting the wrapper to remove it. The next step just kinda happened and the last step is you pull the plastic ring.
What I love about this particular oil is its viscosity. I love the drama of this product and was intrigued by it while opening it. There’s no cork.

Not only is this non-GMO, it has a really good flavor that gives popcorn, especially, a nice little boost. I’ve had guests ask how my popcorn, which looks perfectly normal, tastes extra good. It’s this oil. I’m especially into the non-GMO thing and bought this originally for that reason, but couldn’t be happier with the flavor or quality. I have a zucchini bread recipe that uses 2/3 cup of oil and this is perfect for that. If it improves the taste of my bread, I can’t tell, but the bread is delicious. I’ve used the same recipe for banana bread, and yesterday apple bread and it always comes out wonderfully.

I use this on my body after a shower. It’s absorbed easily and nourishes my skin. Excellent quality.

As for the taste, I don’t go around drinking oil. What I can say is that canola is considered to be one of the healthier oils as it is low in saturated fat and that this particular one does not overwhelm the flavors of the food it is added to. It also has a reasonably high smoke point. I’ve used it for a long time and it has never disappointed.
