Darling Nikki –
I bought this to add to my Asian dishes. I like that it adds a bit of heat, but it’s not too intense. It adds a lot of flavor without a ton of calories or sodium.

This is a really nice olive oil, and it’s not easy to find organic oil. Nice taste and passed the test for fake vs. real OO…when I put it in the refrigerator overnight it turned solid.

Really good stuff; excellent flavor, and who knew the Germans could make a great Italian olive oil!!!

This oil is produced perfectly. I’m still a little put off by olive oil being German & not italian but I’ll have to get over it. The texture & flavor are fine. It is not a heavy flavor. I’ve also used some on my dry nails & it’s been very helpful so i know the nutrients/chemistry of the oil is like it should be. The bottling is excellent.

I LOVE this oil. It’s always sold out or never relisted. I found this listing (separate from the listing I used to use) and happily ordered it when I saw it on sale. I expected to get one bottle since the title didn’t specify two. I got two bottles and was super excited, then I noticed the listing DETAILS specify that you do get two bottles. LOL even though I’m an idiot for missing that detail, I was still super excited that I was mistaken thinking it was a single bottle.
Since it’s a gourmet oil, the color will vary and sometimes, as well as the heat intensity. But don’t be dismayed, it’s always delicious no matter how it comes. It has a nice heat and the Asian chili is very tasty used on/with different fish and vegetable dishes. I mostly use it as a finishing oil on all different types of salads.

that’s a tough one. I was born and raised in (East)Germany and flax oil was a post war food staple, had been for centuries and still is to this day. Nothing in the US can touch the stuff that I buy in cases over there, throw the clothes out and pack the suitcase with bottles of flax oil. Yes, I’m very picky about my oils. This is the only food grade German flax oil available here in the US other than Dr. Budwigs, which is medicine grade with extra Omega, tasting gross. I think all US flax oil tastes gross. I buy Kunella oil over there, it’s divine and very cheap, completely different taste experience than anything over here.
So, this stuff isn’t as great as my Kunella, and I’ll probably order it again if/when I run out of my self imported goodies, but it is a far cry from what it could be. Eat it on salads, it’s ok enough, palatable and very very good for you.

We used this for boiling shrimp. Comparable to massive amount of lemons.
