Beautifully smooth and great size but pay attention to the shape. They have a weird lip on the sides that makes it hard to flip certain things over. They do not work for everything like I had hoped but I’m keeping them anyway.

I really like my set of wooden spatulas for cooking. I had some doubts, but I needed more than I spatula to preserve my treated pans and these seemed as though they would work. I feared that they would not go under the food and allow me to take them off the pans cleanly, but I was able to retrieve sandwiches and delicate fish very completely and nicely. I also hesitated because of the care I need to take, but it was no bother to wash them quickly by hand and even put a bit of salve on one of them. So far, so good. I am glad to have them.

These work to stir, to flip, to cut and to scoop. They are great versatile tools. Id recommend sanding them down and oiling them down every now and then to keep them in top shape.

I’m so happy to have found these cooking utensils that are made of actual teak wood! Teak is such a terrific quality wood that holds up to wear and tear and all sorts of abuse. The design of these tools is very smart, also, because these are so versatile. You can use them while cooking to stir, scrape, sauté, and flip, and after cooking they can be used to spread condiments or frosting. I love that teak wood is all natural and will not give off gasses or other chemicals like plastics can. They also do not scratch my nonstick pans. These came nicely boxed, and inside the box they were individually wrapped. They are not identical; one is slightly thicker than the other. I’m not sure if that is deliberate or just the natural variation of handmade products. They also came with a care card; the most important care tips (in my opinion) being to hand wash them, and avoid soaking them in water for more than a few minutes. Overall, these are wonderful natural cooking utensils that are made of genuine teak wood, look beautiful, perform well and are versatile. I expect they will last for years with proper care.
