My kids are super into rocks right now. I got these, some arrow heads, geodes and play sand, mixed it all in a bucket and gave it to them for Christmas with a litter box sifter scoop so they could dig through the sand and find treasures. They love it! They have loved all the different varieties of rocks. Lots of different sizes, colors and types are included. This was a great value for the money, especially when divided between two different boxes. My kids have had LOTS of fun exploring to see what rocks and gems they could find and then look them up to see what they are.

Literally one of the best stone/mineral lots I have ever purchaces. Great variety, an actually easy to use and comprehensive identification reference for people who are not experts, and amazing value for what’s received. Nothing is mislabeled, dyed or a dubious trade name (eg dyed howlite passed as turquoise, which is quite common) so it is a great source for metaphysical stones.
Below are some favorite samples, including turquoise, jade, carnelian, lapis, and rutilated quartz, as well as a yooperlite which glows under blacklight. My wife teaches elementary school and absolutely loves these lots. Would give 6 stars if I could.
