The lights have to be applied manually and it’s very difficult to recreate this look. It’s not that long and the moons are small.

Initially I was absolutely in love with this product even though I was disappointed with the lights. As so many others said the picture is misleading. The lights are separate and hard to use. The bigger problem is the links keep breaking. I’ve had to fix it and rehang it twice and the third time two links in the chain broke and I don’t think it’s worth fixing.
I really loved how it looked and I am tempted to by another but I really don’t know if it’s worth it

I don’t know what all these negative reviews on the packing are on about, it was packed neatly with the chains folded around a piece of cardboard (like a brand new necklace would be) however, the lights are so poor quality I haven’t even put batteries in them. It *looks* like a hazard. Worried if I even attempt to put a battery in it I’ll get shocked. I didn’t even know they made lights this bad. I couldn’t find worse lights at a dollar store if I tried.

The media could not be loaded.
So unfortunately my moon phase garland came broken.. as I was opening the plastic, one of the moons slid right out. Sliding the whole piece off of the cardboard made the chain tangle so I’d recommend to be careful doing that. I still haven’t been able to detangle it, but I’m also being very careful. I’m not sure how durable this is considering it was broken right out of the package.
The garland is beautiful. The wood is light, hardware came in the box, chain is elegant. The pieces are smooth. I bought the gold to hang with eucalyptus, they compliment each other nicely. If it wasn’t for the misshap with the packaging and the broken piece, this would have been an easy 5* review.

This is a very cute product. But you do need to know that the lights are actually separate from the moons and stars. If you want them to go on the wall without the lights that’s great if you want the lights you have to figure out how to intertwine them yourself. That was my only complaint that I wish that it would have specified that better in the description when I bought it. Otherwise it’s cute, the wooden stars and moons are awesome. And it looks great on her wall. One other thing is you will notice that in the picture it makes it look like they’re huge, I would say that for her twin size bed it almost spans the entire width of the headboard.

you put the lights on the string. the springs on the battery assembly were broken and did not work. the wood and gold decor are beautiful but it is a shorter strand than advertised.
