I only gave it 4 stars because I JUST opened it up to try it. Easy to use. It comes partially charged so you CAN use it right away, but for best results I suggest you CHARGE IT ! I did notice there is a slight smell to the water after charging. It’s the hydrogen of course. It tastes fine though. The only problem I had is NOT the fault of the unit, but of Amazon’s. This is the second unit. I returned the first one because it was a “USED” unit. The bottle still had water in it and the package with the plastic hose had been ripped open and there was water in the hose also. You could see that there had been stickers on the box that had been torn off. Amazon was great however in making things right. Just wish they’d get their customer support people from the USA instead of the Caribbean and etc. as they are hard to understand and the first support personnel actually had me on hold for over 10 minutes before just hanging up on me.
Now to read up some more about the virtues of Hydrogenized water.

Two things right off the bat. First, my glass bottle looks like its leaning. I actually think the glass portion that is connected to the battery base got screwed on wrong or misaligned or something. I held a straight edge up to both sides of the bottle to verify my eyes aren’t crooked and the straight edge doesn’t lie. The unit doesn’t leak or anything because of this, but clearly it leans to one side. Second, lack of detailed instructions and details of this unit and potential benefits all together. It just came with a small, tri-fold instruction sheet with not much detail. For example, how to actually clean the unit prior to first use? How much water to add? It also came with an oxygen style hose that you can plug into the top of the unit while running in order for you to breathe in hydrogen? But why? What benefits does this offer? Clearly it lacks any kind of documentation.
Anyways, I have seen these devices trending on social media and thought I would try it. The unit does start generating small bubbles in the water during the process. I’m not sure what hydrogen water is supposed to taste like, but when I drink the water, it does taste smoother. Almost like you’re drinking soft water versus hard water. BTW, I’m on well water. Pretty good well water, but I still run it through an RO system first. Not sure how many times you can run water through this before charging, but I’ve already ran over a dozen bottle through on a single charge. Also, I do not own a hydrogen tester yet in order to verify before and after hydrogen production.

I bought this for my mom, and she loves it. She puts it by her bed and presses it first thing in the morning so her first glass of water is hydrogenated. It’s a good way to start the day, and it doesn’t have any kind of funny taste.

Does hydrogen water have benefits? That is still up in the air. This was an affordable option to give it a try. Suggest using distilled water, not sure of minerals in the water could cause clogging eventually. This works well and the jury is still out on the health benefits. But worth the try.
