WOW this book is awesome. It has EVERYTHING t learn about blending oils, there are chart for oils, wheels diagrams to show the oils properties and categories: flowery, herbal….etc And because it is a magical blending book, every oils is explained in connection with rituals and seasons and correspondence. Each oils is in this book with also many recieps and mixing potential with carriers oils. Highly recommended.

Wow excellent book this writer is totally awesome in more ways than one. She school’s you on the carrier oils, medicinal uses, magical uses, zodiac uses, massage uses, and perfume uses and so much more. This is a must have. I never knew that the carrier oils also have magical properties like olive oil as a carrier oil is as good as Palo Santo (Holy Wood) Excellent Buy

This book was very informative and interesting to read. It is how to primary a book about perfumery in that it speaks about what fragrances go well together, which isn’t the focus of many other books about essential oils. Many will tell you about its health benefits and gives you recipes but here, you will learn the concepts of what goes well together so that you can create your own.
And while I love the magical foundation of this, you really don’t have to be a pagan to benefit from it. It’s for everyone interested in essential oils.

This book is the best possible essential oil book on the market. It not only gives correspondences, there are tables that are easy to follow that help you choose the right combination of oils to suit your intentions AND smell great together! One friend borrowed my copy for six weeks, the other immediately bought her own!

This book is very in-depth and well written. I would have given it a higher rating except for the fact that it is so technical. You have to be in the right frame of mind to read as it requires a lot of mental energy to take in the vast detail and information contained in the book

I purchased the book off of pure curiosity, but it is very intriguing and has much more value than a magic or Wiccan manner.
As any good essential book does it starts with some history and some basic EO information and safety guidelines. Several chapters discuss blending: by botanical family, by scent/fragrance, and by perfume/note. There are several blend recipes throughout the book.
The next section gets into more of the magic/Wiccan uses and talks about “above and below” groupings. Basically grouping by plant/herb part. Above the ground and below the ground. My favorite part of the book was regarding carrier oils as I haven’t encountered a book that goes into depth on carriers. Finally the book closes with oil profiles.
I do find value in this book even though I am not using it for magic or Wiccan purposes

If you are interested in understanding how to use and blend essential oils, this is a very good reference book. I like that it presents a more intuitive focus rather than just chemistry. I like the mystical aspects of adding in the zodiac, elemental, god/goddess and seasonal “holidays”. Some people may be scared off my the “magic” reference, but I found it to be very spatial in nature. There is good repetitive regular information on many oils and carrier oils, but I really like the additional insight in blending beyond the normal top, middle, base note.- it shows how to blend by scent base as well as above/below ground (spiritually) both are discussed in this book – just has a unique approach to using essential oils in your life. Found this book at my local library and decided I had to own it myself after I kept renewing it time after time.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this book. It is the PERFECT companion for anyone who wants to use Essential Oils for more than just physical benefits. I have yet to find another complete resource which gives such great info on the metaphysical/magical properties of so many different oils. This is my favorite aspect of this book–but there is so much more information also!! Detailed information about each Oil as well as an entire section on how to create your own blends, with tables showing how to pick which oils to pair together. I feel like its the only book on Oils I will need. I refer to it all the time and it is definitely a staple of my collection.

This book is filled with a lot of very interesting tidbits of information. I especially love the detailed background and history of each oil and the outline of special healing powers they have. I own another book about essential oils that I found to be a wonderful guide, but it’s pretty basic, whereas this book dives into more details about the magic of oils and the special benefits they offer. In addition, the author provides a few of her personal recipe blends, each for creating a postive atmosphere in your home, as well as around you and your spirit.
I recommend this book to anyone interested in the healing benefits of essential oils and how, by blending different oils, you can create a calming and positive atmosphere for you and your personal space.

I adore this book. It’s only been a few days since I received it, however, I have already read the entire thing and found I needed a highlighted and quite a few page markers! Even if you don’t intend to mix oils for any sort of magic, this book is still great because it provides so much information about aromatherapy and various ways of mixing. I have already made my first blend and am waiting for it to mature. Looking forward to doing more.

Very nice book, but not as extensive as some other publications out there. I would have preferred more uses for the oils in the magical arena.
