Fire Ants. For those that live in deep south Texas if you have ever accidently stepped on a fire ant mound you Know how painful it is for several days. They Itch/hurt/burn for days. I had bought this originally for my husbands knee pain which it actually was not really strong enough. BUT after stepping on a fire ant nest a few days ago and the pain was terrible i sprayed some of this on both feet and leg area they bit. Works wonders . Only had to reapply every 10 hrs. Held leg/foot over bathtub to contain the mess and sprayed. Will keep it on hand from now on

Had gotten this item from a local store, but then couldn’t locate more until I tried Amazon. Was thrilled I can get it here. Love this stuff, It works as it says it does! It doesn’t have aloe in it as so many other roll on pain relievers! Therefore, my new forever go-to pain reliever. Will I be purchasing more? You bet I will. And the price is a good buy as well.

This aleve roller has the highest menthol concentration of any I’ve found. I use a few other pain relieving creams and have tried other menthol rollers. I like that this one is squeezable. When it’s low requires a bit of folding, but I prefer it over hard sided rollers because I can make sure I get all the product out before starting my next one. I’ve been using this product for over a year and switched over from biofreeze/generic plain menthol rollers with a much lower menthol concentration.

I can tell you that even though it says it’s unscented, this product has a very strong menthol/medicinal smell. I used it and it helped somewhat, but I finally threw it out as I couldn’t stand the strong smell anymore.

Ive used a pr roll on opical pain gel for years. That one has 5% methol and starts the ice coolness right away. I had huge hopes for this, esp as it was more costly. With 14% menthol I expected to really feel it. First off, the stainless steel roller balls work great for deep tissue massage. BUT! The 14 % menthol seems to be untrue. Honestly felt more like one percent.. That said, once it had time to soak in, it did help the pain. It contains the same botanicals as the other brand and some camphor. The smell is light. I find it works pretty well on my painful feet. Less for other areas. All in all its worth trying but if you expect a strong cooling, its not for you!

Also, having to squeeze the tube quite firmly to get the lotion out causes pain in my hands. It would be VERY helpful to get the product WITHOUT the rollerball applicator. It was available a few months ago, but I cannot find it anywhere now. Please make this available WITHOUT the rollerball applicator.

I haven’t gone wrong with Aleve products and this one was no exception. Fast pain relief and the metal ball roll on makes it so easy. You can apply and not get the product on your hands and the roll on gives it that extra massage while applying. I did have an issue with the tube splitting at the top seam but that could have been my fault if I was squeezing too hard. Would buy again.
