Every single seed type sprouted and began to take root – i just learned that I am not a green thumb and unfortunately couldn’t keep them all alive with indoor growing in my apartment. I’ve a green thumb so was quite surprised at this. A bit disappointed as my zone many of these items would grow year round in. Too expensive for no reward.

I can not wait to plant all the mint and lavender and everything else to keep away all the mice, bugs, and spiders. I have funnel spiders in the bushes around my house. And someone told me that they are poisonous and that his cat got killed by a bigger one. I love that there are so many seeds the quality and size are absolutely awesome. I haven’t had the pleasure to taste or watch germination just yet but I will be doing that soon. Going to do the paper towel method for germination. I will update when that comes round.

I’m going to school to be a natural medicine practitioner so herbs are very important to me and my practice. I’ve just put up a greenhouse and I’m beginning to grow my own herbs and some vegetables. I’ll be able to make my own teas, tinctures, decoctions, etc etc. I am really looking forward to it.
This kid has a good general sample of medicinal herbs. I’d say about half of them are ones that my school actually grows and sells as well. For the price, you really get a good assortment. Now, i will have to let you know as soon as I get them growing in my greenhouse and I can attest to the ratio of seeds per plants grown 😉.

Everything packed organized, all the packages have amt in grams and seeds count, very detailed instructions with soil temp in C and F,zone info, how to start inside and outside for each plant specifically,all individual packs have company address, how to contact them. AND they included small tools separately packed which is super cute and very helpful. Im very impressed and hope all these seed will be as good as my previous purchases from this company.

This is a terrific gift item for someone wanting to start a small garden with a REALLY good variety of GOOD seeds. The box is very nice, and the contents well thought out. The “digging” gloves are certainly different! I had never seen anything like those before and I’ve been gardening for decades. My daughter is looking forward to putting the contents to use in the spring!

The issue is the sprouting rate. About 30 percent to 50 percent of the seeds in this pack are duds. I garden a lot and tested these in hydroponics, pots, and outdoor soil, and some of the packets simply never germinate no matter what you do.
Also, the packets with larger seeds only come with around five or six seeds. I assume they’re portioned by weight instead of quantity. That would be fine except when half of them do not sprout either, and now you are down to maybe two or three plants.
The seeds that do sprout grow well and match the labels. No mix-ups there. But the inconsistency is frustrating, and it feels like wasted time and money when so many never grow.
I’m giving it three stars. Cute kit, helpful tools, but the sprouting rate undermines the entire point.
