Great Organic coffee!
I’m very particular about coffee I drink every morning and this Organic Kickstarter Colombian fits the bill. Mild taste, low acidity, organic without aftertaste of “cigarettes” in your mouth. And it has a great aroma. It does not give me indigestion and stomach gas. No plastic! And affordable price.
Pods work very well with my Keurig coffee machine, no accidents. Pods are sealed in a protective pouch that preserve aroma of this wonderful coffee. The outer box might not look luxurious, but inside you’ll be surprised by the quality of this organic coffee.
Couldn’t even smell the pockets so I don’t believe they worked –

These pods taste amazing. The French brew is full of flavor and full-bodied. Amazing brew.
The main reason I got this pod was to get away from plastic leaching chemicals of K-cups.
These came up as highly reasonably priced as well as organic grounds.
Only problem I found is that the lid (where the pod brand is printed) is made of compostable resin.
While not traditional petrochemical plastic, my concerns are the potential for chemical additives, possible leaching when exposed to hot liquids, and the need for industrial composting to ensure proper breakdown.
I wish they made it from paper. That way, I can be sure there are no chemical migration or microplastic concerns.

Since a few months ago, due to allergic reactions and autoimmune situations/flareups, I have been on the hunt — so to speak — for a good quality, organic, mold-free(hopefully) brand to substitute my previous coffee brand without sacrificing the flavor. I found this brand after one time ordering the Amazon Sumatra Roast Organic brand that was okay price-wise but basically inedible for me.
I found Beanie and as French Roast was their only Dark Roast option without extra flavors or additives, I thought to give it a try. But reading concerning reviews/photoes of strange pod explosions in the Keurig Machines or “defective pods”, I thought to only order a pack of 30 pods rather than my usual preference with is 75+.
1- I have Keurig Supreme Plus — the latest — and I can assure you that ALL PODS came sealed and NO EXPLOSIONS of coffee grinds was witnessed …… so rest assured that pods are certainly compatible with Keurig (at least the latest model)!
2- The packaging was flawless and I would like to thank the company — whoever they are — for this level of care.
3- Pods are obviously eco friendly and lovely filled with organic goodness which hopefully means we do not have to worry about all the sprayed junk that are associated with the “non-organic” ones any more.
2 CONS for me:
1- There was no roasting day but the “best before” date will be in 2 months from now which is a problem/deal breaker for me as I want it to be Fresh and this way I will have enough time house without making my coffee acidic.
2- the pods smell lovely but the coffee was NOT really “French Roast” at all and believe me French Roast is my second flavor after Sumatra that I have been drinking in the last 20 years of life. Perhaps it is because it is NOT FRESH given that it expires in the next 2 month.
Since no Return or Replacement option was available for it, I have to deal with it but am glad that did not get the pack of 75 pods at least!

I got this Swiss water decaffeinated coffee simply to try out the compostable pods since I like to compost. I didn’t expect to fall in love with this coffee and call it my favorite.
I recently decided to drink coffee black as a possible way to reduce calories and reduce hunger. I wasn’t a full time coffee drinker before, nor am I anywhere near an expert. I just know that if I was going to drink coffee black that I needed to find good quality coffee if I wanted to enjoy this transition. Caffeinated coffees were good enough to get started, but later in the day I’d try regular cheap decaffeinated coffees and I didn’t like the taste at all. I then researched the process of how they are made, which led me to Swiss-water decaffinated coffees. Much Much better in taste.
I have a Keurig and got sick of trying to salvage the small amount of coffee in plastic K-cups to put into my compost, so I happened to stumble across this product on Amazon with the compostable pods. I was worried about a few reviews that said they won’t work in a Keurig 2.0. But I bought them anyway and they work just fine, no errors, no mess. They also work fine in my Ninja coffee maker. It’s only been a few weeks, so I can’t say yet how well or how long it takes the pods to blend into compost, but it is sure nice to just toss them straight into the compost without doing any extra nor a need to throw away plastic into the trash.
The taste…. like I said, I’m no expert at coffee, I do not have the experience of trying all brands and types of coffee the world offers, this may just be what an average good cup of coffee tastes like, but to me it is my favorite flavor of coffee so far. It has that bitter coffee taste that reminds me of the bitterness of unsweetened dark chocolate…. the desirable kind of bitterness, not too strong to make your face scrunch, but enough stick with your tongue for several minutes after each sip. It’s very desirable and now I find myself wanting to drink this coffee all throughout the day as my beverage of choice, not just a gimmick to suppress appetite… which after 2 months I don’t think it suppresses appetite at all like keto coffee can. But that’s fine, it was worth a try. Now I’m happy to have discovered a new drink that I love.
The product comes in a box and contains two metallic-looking freshness bags. When you open them up, the small of wonderful coffee is yours to enjoy. I’m very happy with this purchase. I will be auto-repurchasing this coffee.

One of my favorite French roast pods! Love the depth of flavor in these and they actually taste quite similar to a real French roast, which is hard to find in coffee pods.

Love this coffee. I try to not leave such a big plastic footprint and this pod is great for that. The coffee is delicious . I brew it at 8 or 10 oz and it’s strong and flavorful at both sizes . Definitely a great coffee ! Organic too

I’ve been trying to cut down on microplastics and reduce waste, so traditional plastic K-Cups were starting to bother me. I was excited to find Beaniac’s Organic coffee in compostable pods—a more earth-friendly option that fits perfectly with my lifestyle.
That said, good coffee is a must—and this one didn’t disappoint! The French Roast is bold and smooth, just how I like it. The pods fit my Keurig perfectly, and the price is super reasonable.
I’ll definitely be buying these again!
