If you truly like vanilla-scented incense, do NOT buy this! Aside the fact that for some reason the cones are very hard to set into an incense waterfall burner, they smell NOTHING like vanilla! I’m not even sure I can describe what they smell like (other than crud). Tried a couple of the set, and was sorry I bought so many of them.
EDIT: 6/1/25 – If nothing else, I have to give this company credit for customer service! Apparently not long after they saw my review, I received a message from them (very well-written, professional) expressing their disappointment about my experience, and they offered either a refund or a replacement with another assortment pack. We went back and forth a couple of times trying to determine which I would like best (which they were happy to provide recommendations – and they were VERY quick in responding, within hours if not within a day between 4 messages), and we decided on one. A few days later, voila. Got it. Decided on the Woody assortment pack. Out of the 6 scents, there was only one I didn’t really like (myrrh), but the other 5 weren’t bad at all. I’ll use them up. Between the customer service and better scents, I’d definitely purchase from them again! Thus, raising my rating from a 1 to a 4.

I’m never going back to stick incense! These make no mess at all. The strength of the scent is about the same as the sticks.
I do find that they burn pretty fast, so I’m glad they come in a 2-pack.
I’ll definitely get more in different scents.

2. It has a very strong smell. For me, it’s too much. Others might like it
3. It smells like overly perfumed soap, not cedar
To be clear, I love the smell of incense because they are usually earthy, but these were not. They were overpowering and not even remotely indicative of the scent they were labeled. I do not recommend for those reasons.

The smell does not give me pine. It’s woodsy maybe. That’s the best I can describe it. More like earthy dirt in a wooded area smell. My husband and I just don’t get pine which is what we wanted. It’s not a horrible smell and it is strong so we will still put these to use as back ups.

When I opened the package it was already pretty bad but when I lit it oh man it was 10xs worst. I think choose any other event this one is so bad I’m sorry

Its and Incense like the Indian’s use. does it has Oud not really. It has after burn smell in the house, makes like something burned in the house, not Oud. Its not even close to (OUD) Bakhoor burning. You get what you paid for simple is that.
