This is a good quality incense. It has the classic scent of the Orthodox Church. Many of my friends who are not religious, love the scent and they say it calms them, so not just for the religious people. This incense needs to be burned on hot coal, not like incense sticks or cones. It was good value for money as well.

I was dubious about this jasmine incense with it being a churchy product but it is beautifully fragrant without being overly smoky or choking in fragrance. Not entirely delicate or subtle but that wouldn’t work for me outside. I burn it in a small burner with a disc of incense charcoal on a 1/4” or so of white fine grain sand. I do it outside where I have a 75 yr old oak overlooking my space and so many bird sounds and gentle breeze in wind chimes. So calming. So far burned only 3 rocks and it’s been easily 20 minutes. I’m guessing I’ll get 45 minutes and that’s with a breeze keeping it moving.
Unless you have a large room with vaulted ceiling I recommend to burn outdoors or with really good ventilation in a sunroom. Not sure how I’ll use it in winter but cross that bridge etc. I’ll experiment- maybe on the stove with exhaust fan on low?

I knew nothing about these but I needed something other than resin for a tea candle incense burner I purchased for my dad. After reading the reviews I thought why not give them a try. So, first thing, the smell was amazing, low smoke amount which was great for my kids, the only thing is the coating (powder) gets a little messy unless you use a spoon, I was able to use tongs with my resin rocks because they were multiple sizes but these are little and the tongs were too big. I normally use about 6-8 pieces at a time for a longer burn and stronger scent. I purchased the wild rose and the gardenia…I definitely have to say the Gardenia is my fave while my daughter loves the rose scent. Its strong enough to smell but light enough to not give a headache like room sprays.

Bonne odeur avant utilisation mais perd un peu de son odeur/essence initiale une fois brulé donc oui ça sent bon mais ce n’est pas comme de l’encens de qualité ou l’odeur perdure…

Not exactly what I was expecting scent wise but they are better than nothing, they have a string fake perfume smell to them which gives me a headache if I use indoors

I liked the rose incense , it doesn’t smell quite like the church to me, this is more of a floral aroma but can still smell frankincense which I enjoy. I don’t think it smells like “old lady perfume” at all, it’s definitely floral but it’s a pleasant smell. But if you’re looking for something more for spiritual purposes authentic smelling- the Byzantium one is probably similar to orthodox church smell(just a guess haven’t tried it yet), I got this rose one more for the pleasant smell at home and I like it. Burns nicely, the smoke is quite thick and it lingers which I enjoy too. Excited to try other ones! Glory be to God

Good packaging, the incense just smells bad. It has a flat, synthetic citrus smell to it.

Very weak smell. When you open it, it smells like roses but the smell is faint afterwards. Then when it burns, it doesn’t really give off a scent. Produces a lot of smoke but hardly any smell. Nice container but secure in a bag because the lid is sensitive to popping open which is fine, just be cautious!

Great quality insense. Unlike other incense these don’t smell burnt after burning.

A nice little box that should last a while. It’s far more delicate on the burn than when you open to smell the fragrance (I got rose here, as that was what was available to choose). It’s very grandmotherly and quite floral–very churchy. Good for a peaceful meditation with tea. One burn of 3 pebbles over a tea light candle will last a good long while, nearly to 45 minutes. I have a burner that accepts a tea light candle and you suspend your incense/wax/bricks/resin over the flame on a grill of sorts. I put mine in a short piece of foil because it keeps the grill clean and you get no drips of incense into the flame. Then, it’s very easy to clean up by just wrapping and tossing. Overall, I’m not sure how often I’ll use this as it as touch messy with all the powder, but I’m happy it to my incense collection and it is a 4.5 for me, here rounded to a 5.

Excellent incense resin. It’s a little on the expensive side, and can be smoky, but it works great in a charcoal burner. It will probably also work well in either an electric burner or a candle burner, but I have yet to try those. This is a quality product. Recommended.
