Reviews I’d Want My Kids To Read Before Buying –
My 81-year-old father LOVES this. It’s one of the only healthier meals I can convince him to eat at this point. He loves danishes, which are terrible for him, but he’ll actually eat this and really enjoys the flavor, as compared to most other meals. These and the Panera Bowls with chicken and pasta are basically his favorite. The only issue is that, when the store realizes it’s expired, sometimes they’ll remove that outer cardboard-label with the date on it, knowing there isn’t one on the plastic and there’s no sticker on the plastic. There used to be a date on the plastic, but there hasn’t been in a while, so always make sure you have the cardboard-label that wraps around the plastic meal-box, because sometimes they’ll ship an expired one without a label (and you can tell just by looking when it’s too far gone to eat safely). That’s really the only flaw we’ve ever found with this. The label can be removed by the store to try to sell one that’s expired recently, so we have to be careful and check this every time we order it, but the taste is great and the macros are good for him and he’ll actually eat the entire meal without wasting any. This is a winner.

Price is a bit high on these things but it’s good food. Very flavorful. I doctor mine by adding in a bunch more baby spinach, black pepper, and red pepper. I really like these I just wish they were a couple dollars less.

The package arrived promptly, the instructions were clear and easily followed, the portion size was adequate; about 2/3rds what a restaurant would typically serve. The Chicken Tikka Masala itself wasn’t the absolute best I have ever had, but certainly was good and flavourful, was on the mild side for spicy level (but I like my Chicken Tikka Masala rather energetic) The steamed spinach turned out much better than anticipated and did not clump into little green balls and tasted great. The rice was okay, was a bit starchy and gummy but palatable.. was my least favoured item in the dish. I will definitely order this again and try other entrees from Amazon.
Much better than anticipated, and in a different league altogether from Stouffer’s or Marie Callenders.

This is my first week trying to meal prep, and I seen this and thought why not add this to make my life easier. Reading the reviews I thought this was going to be delish, but it’s honestly kinda bland maybe it was my batch or something’s wrong with yalls tastebuds. Tastes less than mediocre I actually had to add extra seasoning. The chicken had a weird texture. It smelt great though!

The chicken had a bad texture called “woody” chicken breast. It’s super gross, feels like biting into rubber.
I will never buy this again after experiencing the horrible woody breast and my wife couldn’t finish the food and lost her appetite.

I just wish these were weighed before they left the preparation kitchen. Most Amazon meals like this don’t look anywhere near full like they do in the pictures. Kind of sad to be honest. But, due to current issues I am finding myself eating them. Portion size? If they’re like the picture it’s great. But about half the time they are a third missing.
Great flavor, great quality and freshness. Not too spicy at all. I literally had saw hot sauce to it. Quality control needs to be kicked up a lot on these meals. Amazon, they should weigh the listed amount before they leave the kitchen. I’ve literally gotten this in other ones like the kung pao and they’re not even half full. If that happens, they’re not worth the money.

These arrived today with our delivery and it looked so good that my son wanted to eat it right away. We both loved this dish! It had a lot of flavor and tasted super fresh. We paired it with naan to complete the meal. The perfect size for lunch and so easy and quick to prepare. I would buy it again, but I see that it is not available. I hope it does become available again soon!

It was bomb! As someone shared in a review, this indeed tastes like restaurant grade. It looked very sloppy when delivered but I was hoping the review I read was spot on so I can overlook the sloppy looking food. And overlook the physical appearance was what I did. I would order again when I don’t feel like cooking.
