So my dog recently turned 11 years old. She is a German Shepherd Black Lab mix, those breeds are notorious for having hip/joint issues with age and I knew that so I’ve always tried to keep my dog on a healthy diet with a daily walk/dog park routine. But these past months I noticed how sometimes even getting up in the morning she was limping/sore for the first couple hours and honestly it really hit me hard and made me sad cause it woke me up to how she’s getting up there in years and I consider this animal as my child.
So I bought this after doing hours of research on products to help and after reviewing all the reviews, products used to make this, scientific data, and even asking a couple veterinarians for their opinions on products and their ingredients, this one came out on top compared to the 20+ other products I was looking into.
AFTER ONE WEEK, I noticed the difference. No more limping or being sore. Even after a long walk or day at the dog bark running around playing with other dogs or playing fetch. In the video I attached to this review is of my dog jumping which I usually never let her do cause she would always start limping after or be sore the next day but look she does it no problem even on her own she’s jumping up and around things at home and at park which was a rarity before!
I am honestly so impressed by this product and have officially become a subscriber for the Joint Care Chew. If you love your animals like they are family the money you spend on this products and others from this company doesn’t matter due to the results. Truly thankful for this company and their products!

You’ve seen film clips showing dogs bounding about after they’ve been on the joint care chews, and we did have one of those moments! About 3 weeks after we started, Lucy went running after a cat. I hadn’t seen her run in a long time.
The other thing I’ve noticed with her is that she has an easier time getting up and done. Prior she would either stay down on the ground and not get up for anything- or she would pace and stand. Obviously getting up and down was very painful. She gets up when I get home, she gets up when someone is at the door, so I know she is feeling better.
As for the beagle, I have noticed less of a limp, but he wasn’t really in a bad way, so hopefully this is slowing the aging process for his joints somewhat.
Lucy was on expensive anti-inflammatory meds, which affected her appetite and she threw up occasionally. I no longer give her that every day, rather when she seems to be in pain, sometimes after a sunny day longer walk. The chews aren’t cheap, but much cheaper than the other medication.
I know eventually Lucy will suffer too much and we’ll need to make that decision. However, I do believe that these chews are giving her a good quality of life right now. I’m sure it doesn’t work for every dog, just like any medication doesn’t work for everyone. I would recommend giving it a try for 3 jars, and don’t expect your dog to turn into a bounding puppy again. They get old, it is so hard to watch, and all we can do is try to make their lives as posh as possible!!!

I have a 12 year old pug she has ivdd (invertebrate disc disease)… Surgery is usually recommended but due to other medical issues surgery isnt an option for her… she is happy and healthy and didnt seem to be in pain and i refused to give up on her and put her down…i honestly thought she wasn’t going to make it a year after being diagnosed but here we are over a year later and shes doing amazing…before I started giving this to her she could barely move but I noticed a huge difference in her within 3 days of her taking these.. she was able to stand on her own and was finally mobile… I fully understood that this wasn’t going to be a magic pill and she will never be 100% normal again… it has been about 4 months since she’s started taking this… with these vitamins and the physical therapy I do for her she is doing absolutely amazing!! She stands straight on her own and she is able to run around and she’s fast!! (She’s still very wobbly and does fall occasionally) she’s about 70% better she can run up and down her ramp to the couch on her own now, in the bath she has stood on her hind legs a few times which is massive improvement …. there has been times when amazon was late delivering my package and she went a few days without her vitamins and I noticed a decline in her mobility… again I want to reiterate it’s not a magic pill don’t expect it to be but in my experience it’s an amazing product and definitely worth every cent

Works amazing, but the price is pretty high for the amount you get. 30 servings for around $42 is up there. My old pup likes them and she can get up and down the steps effortlessness when taking these. It took a week of giving them to her for us to notice any change.

Noticed very significant improvement in mobility and less cracking and popping of his joints when he was stretching. Couldn’t get access to the other stuff so bought green muscle lip supplement. Did not do the same. Did a lot of research and looked at the ingredients list labs. Everything that I can find and the pet lab co came out on top.
He’s been on it for 2 and 1/2 weeks now and the same benefits that he had from the other product he gets from this, both are not cheap. Cheap. This brand is reliable. I would fully recommend this to start supplementing before they start showing problems. Get ahead of it and this is a great tool. Ours is a bigger guy so we go through 60 pills per month, but it’s well worth it. I’ve noticed the difference when he’s not on these pills or when he was on the green muscle supplement or powder, he had trouble when he would go down rolling over onto his back and he wouldn’t like jumping up on certain furniture. Within a few weeks of being on this supplement, all those issues have subsided. Our dog is very active, getting at least 4 miles of walking per day and more on the weekend. I cannot recommend the supplement enough.

I have been giving my dog these tablets and he still gets dirty ears and I have to clean them myself . Plus I had to go and get prescription meds for him to get rid of the yeast infection. Although it’s been 2 years I had him on Petlab tabs and I don’t see any major benefits.

I had high hopes for this product given the positive reviews and impressive ingredient list, including glucosamine, green-lipped mussels, omega 3, and turmeric. Unfortunately, my 2-year-old bichon simply refuses to eat them. I’ve tried disguising them in her food, but she always finds a way to avoid them. The product seems well-formulated for joint support, but if your dog is a picky eater like mine, it might be a challenge to get them to consume it.

I have used Petlab Co products for years and trust their ingredients and effectiveness.
We have a young bully (60lbs) who is not food motivated and cautious of what she tries; but she always eats the PetLab Co chews – we use both the joint care and the probiotic chew.
Because our dog runs hard and while we discourage any jumping off heights – she sometimes is quicker than we are and jumps off our deck (approximately 3 feet high) and we know the strain that can put on any dog’s joints, including our girl who is a solid 60lbs. By providing her with a supplement, we know we are helping maintain healthy joints and hopefully preventing issues as she ages.
This company has a wide variety of supplements and ordering them through Amazon has made it very easy to add these to her daily diet and having a subscription means we never run out.
Having had dogs who developed joint issues as they aged and not been on Petlab Co joint care chews, and working through the cost of veterinarian care and medication to minimize joint pain, I know the importance of joint maintenance and prevention.

My dog is about 13, and she’s been showing her age this last year more and more with each passing day. We got a new puppy hoping to help reenergize her, but she was disinterested in everything but avoiding her. I saw an ad for this with videos of dogs who seemed completely transformed, so I figured I’d try it. Within a couple of hours after her first one she was able to use the stairs again. After three days she started playing with the puppy. Two weeks later she’s running and her ears are perky and playful. She rolls around on the ground with her new sister and played with the sprinkler today for close to an hour. My sister’s dog is also aging and recently developed a limp. The vet said they thought it was an ACL, but I watched her squat without issue. Her movements looked hip related, but it had been going on for so long that I couldn’t tell which was the sore spot and which was from compensating. (I know I had a foot injury that lead to hip pain, which lead to lower back pain, etc, so I assume it can be the same for them.). This is a bit expensive for her to simply experiment with, so I ordered a new one for my dog and gave her the rest of what he had in the other. It’s been about five or six days and I went over to see her dog walking without a limp on all four paws. She stills seems a bit tentative like either she’s sore or she’s afraid that rough activity will be too much for her, but the difference is amazing. Her vet was talking surgery!
I don’t know about dogs bodies, or arthritis or any of that. I’m not a vet. I’m just a guy who loves my dogs and always gets very sad when they get to that age where things wind down. I watched as my own parents had aches and pains and moved less and less which caused things to stiffen and weaken which caused it to hurt more to move which made them stay still, and on and on. Aging is such a vicious cycle. I don’t even know what this stuff does really, but I can tell you the effects have been obvious. On day two or three she seemed stiff in the morning and I felt bad for taking so long to give her one, but now she either seems to have it built up in her system or perhaps all her new activity has started to loosen her up and strengthen her, and she even wakes up more energetic. I know it can seem pricey, but if you can try it for a month i think it’s a cheaper way than expensive medicines, treatments, and surgeries. Definitely worth it.

By no means is my 11 yr old black lab running or jumping around like a puppy but it has helped her move with ease. She is not stiff or limping. Like anything else, somethings might work for your dog and not for others. I had mixed feelings after reading many reviews but I decided to give it a try since the anti inflammatory and pain pill from the vet was costing me $60/month if I gave them to her every day. I decided to order from amazon versus direct from petlab for cost in case the supplements did not work. Plus I have 3 other large dogs.
Joint care is light brown and firm. She hates peanut butter since I had used it to disguise her medicine in the past. I have to use cheese or cold cuts to hide pills for her to take it. She does not eat vegetables. She’s kind of picky on what she eats but not with the petlab co joint care or the vitamins. She eats them without coaxing or camouflaging. My other 3 dogs also like the taste as well. They all weigh over 75 lbs.
I saw a gradual improvement over 3 to 4 wks. I have not seen any adverse side effects. I have ordered again and on my 3rd container and subscribed to monthly delivery.
I am a nurse and a sceptic but for the comfort and quality of life for my aging dogs, I was willing to give this product a try.
Like other reviewers have said, it’s not a miracle or a cure all for MY dog but it has made me feel better when I see my dog ,katie, getting up, laying down or walking without limping or stiffness or even jumping on the couch without her standing in front of it contemplating a few minutes before she hops on. I have a 16-year-old senior dog with really bad hips. Some days he struggles to get up other days he’s in pain and other days he can barely move. I have tried so many products some very expensive some not so expensive. Either my dog doesn’t like the taste of him and refuses to eat them or they just do not do anything for him. I bought this product for my dog and after 2 weeks I will tell you my dog can now walk better, get up more, and act like he’s 10 years old now and not 16. This product is absolutely the best on the market. And the funny thing is my dog loves the taste of these things he thinks he’s getting a cookie every time he gets one at bedtime. I am very thankful for this product because it is extending my dog’s life and letting me keep him longer. These work wonderfully for my 9 year old female pit mix. I always recommend them to others, but since the change in product packaging we either run out before our next delivery by almost a week or the jar is full of crumbled pieces at the bottom. I have been ordering this supplement for almost a year now. She takes one a day and there used to be enough for even a few days after the next jar arrived. Otherwise it’s a great product and my dog uses eager for her morning “cookie vitamin.”

I have been giving my dog these tablets and he still gets dirty ears and I have to clean them myself . Plus I had to go and get prescription meds for him to get rid of the yeast infection. Although it’s been 2 years I had him on Petlab tabs and I don’t see any major benefits.

Petlab joint care chews have been a save and grace for my Nala girl!
About 2 years back (at only ~4.5 years old) my girl started to show signs of arthritis, limping, and being in pain. Her pain manifested in the fronts legs first and then all of a sudden moved to the back legs. One day at the dog park would keep her in bed the following 2 days. Her days of hiking, swimming, and accompanying us on adventures were pretty much done.
I visited so many vets to try and figure it out. Since she was so young, they all seemed to think it was things like a fractured elbow, a torn ligament, or maybe even lime disease. X-rays were taken, various drugs and painkillers were tried, but relief seemed to be very minimal. They did put her on a joint supplement to try and ward off arthritis as well. She did not like the chews they recommended at all! I had to find new ways to trick her into eating it each month!
All in all we tried Dasaquin, Adequan (the shot form!) Gabapentin, and Rimadyl. The most relief we got (minimal improvement in limping) was from Adequan, however she was a rare dog that also got the side effect of nausea and vomiting from it, so we had supplement it with Pepcid twice a day prior, day of, and day after to.
I heard of Petlab through an Instagram marketing campaign, and it took probably 4 times of me seeing it to finally do some research on it. After finding loads and loads of incredible reviews, I decided to try it. Within a week she was appearing to be more active! Within a month, her limping had gone away completely. She now plays with her brother 10x more than ever before. Her walks are longer, and she even gets zoomies again! Her biggest feat yet was attending beach week this year and being able to play in the ocean, chasing waves up and down the shore for 4 out of 6 mornings we were there and little recovery time in between!
My husband and I are so thrilled to be getting our Nala girl back and seeing her happier than ever. If you are questioning whether to try another supplement or not, JUST DO IT! I hope for you and your pup the same results we have seen with ours.
