My German shepherd gets the occasional skin problem on his belly and legs. We still don’t know what causes it but when it pops up I bathe him with this soap and he seems far less itchy and it seems like the problem goes away for a whole. His skin will calm down and go back to a normal color after we’ve used this. Perhaps it’s yeast infections he keeps getting. But this stuff definitely works. You just have to let it sit on the skin for 5-10 minutes before rinsing. I think it smells perfectly fine too.

If your dog has constant problems chewing their paws then this is the stuff to get. My German Shepherd has had problems chewing his paws and this helps quite a bit. The main active ingredient in this is chlorhexidine gluconate and one of the times I took my dog to the vet for chewing on his paws the soak they gave me had exactly that but I can’t soak his paws for 10-15 mins it ain’t happening. You will have to spray your dogs paw 2 times a day at first and then once a day. It will say so on the instructions. Even if your dog has minor wounds on his or her paws where they chewed themselves raw you can use this and it will clean the wound also. Also another thing I have done in the past after doing the spray I would also put aloe gel on my dogs paws afterward to help heal the wounds faster. I have gotten this spray multiple times and it works great. Just wish there was a gallon refill on Amazon of the same stuff where I could get it in bulk way cheaper versus $9 a bottle but that’s steal cheaper than vet bills for it. I will use this stuff for a long time as long as they don’t change the formula.

I have a senior kitty who turned out to be very allergic to a new cat litter I bought. He had bumps that he was digging & biting at so badly that his fur was falling out in that area & he was developing small to medium open wounds from it.
I was very worried that they might get infected, plus he was so uncomfortable. I stumbled upon this spray & ordered it. I had high expectations from reading reviews, but this spray exceeded them ! After just a few sprays of this, the areas dried up completely ! When it dried & separated from his skin, I gently brushed the dried parts off, & his skin looks absolutely perfect now !
He also stopped digging & scratching at the area from the very first spray, so it helped him from the start.Obviously, I changed the litter back, but I’m still so relieved to have this, in case he ever has another allergic episode like this. It just doesn’t have the higher percentage as the prescription for the eliminating of ringworm. This product was applied several times. When using it on cats, use a cotton ball. Spraying it on them scares them. Dogs spraying seems to not phase them. Good value for the product. Would recommend to anyone for ringworm. Unfortunately it’s a fungus that just takes time and diligence getting rid of.

I only leave reviews for things I have used that are exceptional. I wish I could give 10 stars. I have a highly sensitive frenchie with constant and random skin ailments. This product has addressed issues she has had for years. I have tried everything from antibiotics, pills, and creams. This stuff works. My dod had some yellow smelly shin condition and I washed him with this shampoo and then washed him with it again after I rinsed the first lather off. It cured 80 percent of his shin problems. My dog smells better and is really clean. Buy it !! My vet was relying on antibiotics and it did not help at all and actually his condition got worse until I used this shampoo.

I had 2 cats dealing with chin acne. There were many open wounds and hair loss on their chins from it. I was hesitant buying this shampoo because I wasn’t sure if it would really work for chin acne and I had already spent a couple weeks washing their chins with warm water (which didn’t seem to help) and I knew my cats weren’t going to be pleased with me touching their chins and having to wash shampoo off near their faces, but the reviews looked hopeful. I was very surprised! All it took was for one cat to have one wash and the other took two, but their chins cleared up and their fur grew back within a week. I wish I would have taken before and after pictures to show how well it works. I only had to use a dot amount of shampoo for the 3 times I used it so I have plenty left to use, but I will definitely be recommending this to anyone else who needs it for their pets. The texture was nice, it had a nice orange smell and it lathered up good. The shampoo didn’t seem to bother my cats as much as the water did for rinsing it off.

My cocker struggles with yeast production. I was recommended a different shampoo from my vet that was around $40. There was one ingredient that my vet was looking for in different shampoos. And it is in this product!! I have used it for months now and my cocker no longer itches uncontrollably. And he smells soooo good. Rinses very well. And cleans him perfectly! It worked wonderful for my cat. I’ve been taking her to the vet for several years. I made sure she always had flea protection and shampoo her regularly. The vets gave her antibiotics and steroids. She was better for a while but kept getting sick. After washing her with this antiseptic shampoo one time and one last round of antibiotics and steroids, she is completely healed. She acts like she used to. Happy and affectionate. I found out by the pictures of this product that she had a parasite.

Long story short, I ended up taking her to the vet due to another issue and I took the shampoo with me to ask her professional opinion on it. She said the ingredients differ from what she recommends/sells at her office, but they pretty much work the same way. I trust this vet because she has never tried to oversell prescription, so if your pup is having an allergic reaction or pimples, try this and see how it goes.
My dog’s fur has been improving since I started using this on her. She loves taking bath in general so having her sit in the tub for 10 min while the shampoo is doing it’s magic, is no trouble for us. Make sure you have some yummy treats next to you, cut them in small pieces and pamper your pup with those in 30 sec intervals. Before you know it, 10 min if over.
The shampoo lathers wonderfully. It doesn’t have a scent, though there is no “wet dog” smell once the bath sesh is over. It won’t bother your skin either while applying it. I have sensitive skin myself and my hands don’t feel dry after pup’s bath sesh is over.

This is a great product! My dog’s fur on her ears has grown back after a few applications of this spray on the outside of her ears. She has a stubborn ear infection and was scratching the fur off her ears.
I put this on her body too.

I couldn’t be happier to have stumbled upon this product after doing a ton of research on dog yeast infections & effective home solutions. It’s important to seek medical attention from a veterinarian if your dog’s case is severe or if you have any uncertainty about their condition, so I want to clearly express that this review is not intended to be medical advice. Our 2 y/o husky/pittie mix is in prime health, so when she started acting skittish any time my husband and I would pet her on certain areas on her back, I was initially concerned that she had an injury. We noticed a few small punctures on her skin on initial inspection, so because our dogs have been running/playing under our rose bushes, we wrote it off thinking it was from flying a little too close to the sun during zoomies & would heal. The next day, she was acting strangely (hovering around us, lying at our feet under our desks) and the area above her tail felt warm to the touch. We called the vet and made an appointment, but we cancelled it after her behavior & symptoms seemed to improve over the weekend. Fast forward several more days, I go to brush her, and she REALLY didn’t want me to touch her backside with the brush. I take a closer look at her skin and notice that what I thought was just dandruff was actually patches of flaky, irritated-looking skin. Her fur was greasy in these areas as well, and there was a noticeable musty smell that became even more apparent as I gently brushed her fur in the opposite direction. After an hour of reading vet recs online it became clear she was in the early stages of a yeast infection on her skin (poor babe!)
Because she has brindle fur and a husky’s undercoat, it’s challenging to see what I’m talking about in the video, but I included it in case you have a keen eye and can pick out the infected areas. I took the video before the bath and the photo after, and in the photo you can see the irritated areas that are now clear of the excess flaky skin and other build-up that was causing the musty odor. The shampoo foams up very well, and I used a dog bath brush to apply the suds thoroughly. I left it on for 10 minutes, then watched so much dandruff-looking flaky skin go down the drain when I rinsed her off. I dried her off with a towel, took a closer look at her fur/skin, and WOW. Tremendous improvement – her skin is clear in most areas, and the aggravated spots are now clear of build-up so they can heal. I’ll report back if something changes, but I am very pleased by this shampoo after just one application. Great stuff!

This stuff is great!! We have a case of ringworm in the house. It started with one cat all over his ears and temples, and a second cat has a spot on the left side of his body. Day by day his ears are less red and swollen, and it hasn’t spread to any other part of his body. Same with my second cat, he got one spot on his side, and that’s it. And it’s shrinking by the day. Spraying this on a few times a day is really controlling the issue. And none of the other cats in the house have gotten it!
I also suggest the shampoo version.

After their first bath my two bully’s looked VISIBLY less irritated and swollen where their allergies were flaring up. Left their coats softer than when we used oatmeal puppy wash and coconut oil and none of the negatives of it. Our darker colored dog was shiny and healthy looking again. Our dog suddenly started scratching like crazy not too long after we got back from an RV trip. This has happened before. I started with a bath, and Benedryl. That didn’t seem to work. Went online and was reminded of Zyrtec working for dogs. I had used it before but forgot. Oh well. Started him on it and it did much better but was still scratching. I found this on Amazon and liked what was written. It started working within and hour +/- after applying. He’s steadily gotten better, but I got a natural antihistamine for dogs with immune system boosters. He has gotten so much better! I really recommend this product. This shampoo has been amazing for my dog! I have a pitbull and he has really bad skin issues. He always gets yeast infections on his neck and chest and arms. The first time I used the shampoo I seen immediate results. I’ve been using it on him every other day and leaving it on his skin for 10 minutes before washing it off and he’s been doing so much better. The infection has cleared up a lot. We’ve been using it for about two weeks and the infection isn’t completely gone, but there is a big difference. He has immediate relief after using it and he doesn’t lick as much anymore. His old shampoo used to make him shed really bad after using it, but this one makes his fur really soft and he doesn’t shed as much anymore and it’s helped getting rid of the scabs he has from the infection. It also smells good too. He seems so much happier since using it. I think I could get the infection to go away completely If I maybe gave him a bath every day twice a day with it, but I don’t want to have to put him through that because he hates baths lol. But I will show before and after pictures and you can see he obviously still has the infection but it’s not as bad!

Do not eat chicken, beef or grains. They eat a dog food with gut health as a priority. They get goat milk yogurt every other day. Snacks are healthy as well. I even switched cleaning products to 100% pet safe…Still 2 months later they are itching. I bought this shampoo, I wash and treat them twice a week with it, its been a month, I can’t really tell if its helping my pug, the itch seems to have subsided a tiny but, she has suffered the most hair-loss, mostly on upper legs and chest, still has bumps and hair-loss. However, it is making it worse for my Brussels Griffon. Last night after bathing them she itched worse then ever and her skin is all pink and if I hadn’t put her in her full body PJ’s she would have itched herself raw. I am not going to continue with the shampoo. I do not want to put the pups on harsh medication till I have done everything in my power to try to do this the natural way, meds will be a last resort.
I gave 3 stars only because I don’t know if it is “seasonal allergies” or the shampoo making their skin worse. However, the shampoo does make them smell nice and their hair silky soft.

I only use this brand as they are so upset healthy for my Chop the Boxer baby. He is a large baby and suffers from icky paws. He has lion paws and they get moist and smelly causing fungus and yeast from time to time causing itchy smelly raw paws then he licks them making them more moist ugh gross. This stuff works well. This time I got him some paw dry shampoo which I will use daily then spray his feetsies morning and night till it chills. This brand is always so easy to use and smell thought out and always works for him

After months & months and I don’t want to even think about how much money I’ve spent on sprays, ointments, shampoos, different foods etc. I finally figured out what an M.D. was able to diagnose unlike a veterinarian. My poor little 11 lb Chiweenie has been suffering with a yeast infection. His skin was just getting worse & worse & constant itching and shaking his head. It was so bad he couldn’t hardly sleep at night for itching & scratching & shaking his head. It was driving both of us out of our minds. This incredible shampoo arrived two days ago and I immediately bathed him with it. Like someone else on here said, it kinda looked worse after his 1st bath and he did scratch some but nothing like he has been for months. It recommends leaving it on 5 to 10 minutes. All we could make it to was 5 but I’m seeing great improvement. I gave him bath 2 today. Big difference. So far I’ve only seen him scratch under his front left shoulder/leg pit. The areas that are or have been afflicted on him are: his entire back and back of his neck, the outsides back of his ears and nape of his head & his tail. Today after this second bath I notice after a couple of hours that a big section of his back, ears & tail are not as red and seem to be returning to their natural color. The neck area is still pretty red but he has stopped scratching at it with his back paws. It’s been the worse area so I expected it to take a little longer to begin healing. When you realize he was scratching constantly non stop it’s like a miracle to watch him now go for hours and NO scratching. I will continue to bathe him with this shampoo a couple of times per week until it’s all cleared up and the hair has started coming back good. Then, I’ll go to once a week then, once a month. He’s been afflicted with this horrible fungus twice and both times it’s been immediately after I’ve boarded him while out of town. Two different places. One is a very clean reputable groomer & the other a dog setter at their clean home. It’s not a contagious condition so it’s something environmentally and I think it’s bc at both places he was out in grassy fenced areas playing and rolling around in the grass. He doesn’t get to do that normally. I live in an apartment and he doesn’t get to run lose. He’s always on a leash with me. In any case I believe he runs & plays so hard while boarded that he probably sweats a lot. That moisture combined with grass he’s somewhat sensitive to has evolves into a full blown yeast infection. I will give him bath number 3 in a couple of days and further update our progress or lack there of. 7/29/25 UPDATE:
I just gave my little fellow bath #3.
Since his bath 3 days ago there is amazing improvement on his back from shoulders to tip of his tail. Redness is gone, hair is already starting to grow back and skin in that large area that was very red & inflamed before is pretty well back to its normal color. The backs of his ears that were a mess are now definitely on the mend and look very very good. The nape of his head (back neck area) and now the front of neck still are inflamed but will hopefully start healing now that he’s had bath number 3. I might add that in between baths I’ve been spraying all areas with a solution of apple cider vinegar (a natural topical & internal antifungal) every evening before he heads to bed to keep the yeast at bay. Bath #4 will take place in 2 more days and I will update.

Actually today was bath number #5. He continues to improve. Bath was 4 hours ago he’s resting nicely and no scratching. This is a wonderful product.
8/13/25 UPDATE :
ok, this week I’ve given my little guy baths numbers 6 & 7 and this yeast infection is still continuing to improve each time. His back and ears are pretty much healed. Both sides of his rump and his chest area are showing improvement but not quite there yet. This dog’s skin felt hot in the beginning but each bath that temp is going down down. The scratching is very very minimal. I’ll just say this again. I highly highly recommend this shampoo and I will never bathe this dog with anything but it again. I will only update on the future if there is some unanticipated failure on it’s part .

Amazing. Cleared up my girls underside feet from chewing on them due to allergies. She was limping because she had licked the underside of her feet raw. Purchased this and within 1 day, she was not limping nearly as much and by 2 days, no limping. I had been using colloidal silver on her feet for a week, multiple times per day, and they kept getting worse. I’ll never be without this stuff! Very effective. Cleared up her itchy feet.

Worked for my dogs yeasty paws he had licked so much they had sores and had started to bleed. We used the spray daily for about 5 days and then I realized it’s supposed to be used every other day. After months & months and I don’t want to even think about how much money I’ve spent on sprays, ointments, shampoos, different foods etc. I finally figured out what an M.D. was able to diagnose unlike a veterinarian. My poor little 11 lb Chiweenie has been suffering with a yeast infection. His skin was just getting worse & worse & constant itching and shaking his head. It was so bad he couldn’t hardly sleep at night for itching & scratching & shaking his head. It was driving both of us out of our minds. This incredible shampoo arrived two days ago and I immediately bathed him with it. Like someone else on here said, it kinda looked worse after his 1st bath and he did scratch some but nothing like he has been for months. It recommends leaving it on 5 to 10 minutes. All we could make it to was 5 but I’m seeing great improvement. I gave him bath 2 today. Big difference. So far I’ve only seen him scratch under his front left shoulder/leg pit. The areas that are or have been afflicted on him are: his entire back and back of his neck, the outsides back of his ears and nape of his head & his tail. Today after this second bath I notice after a couple of hours that a big section of his back, ears & tail are not as red and seem to be returning to their natural color. The neck area is still pretty red but he has stopped scratching at it with his back paws. It’s been the worse area so I expected it to take a little longer to begin healing. When you realize he was scratching constantly non stop it’s like a miracle to watch him now go for hours and NO scratching. I will continue to bathe him with this shampoo a couple of times per week until it’s all cleared up and the hair has started coming back good. Then, I’ll go to once a week then, once a month. He’s been afflicted with this horrible fungus twice and both times it’s been immediately after I’ve boarded him while out of town. Two different places. One is a very clean reputable groomer & the other a dog setter at their clean home. It’s not a contagious condition so it’s something environmentally and I think it’s bc at both places he was out in grassy fenced areas playing and rolling around in the grass. He doesn’t get to do that normally. I live in an apartment and he doesn’t get to run lose. He’s always on a leash with me. In any case I believe he runs & plays so hard while boarded that he probably sweats a lot. That moisture combined with grass he’s somewhat sensitive to has evolves into a full blown yeast infection. I will give him bath number 3 in a couple of days and further update our progress or lack there of. 7/29/25 UPDATE:
I just gave my little fellow bath #3.
Since his bath 3 days ago there is amazing improvement on his back from shoulders to tip of his tail. Redness is gone, hair is already starting to grow back and skin in that large area that was very red & inflamed before is pretty well back to its normal color. The backs of his ears that were a mess are now definitely on the mend and look very very good. The nape of his head (back neck area) and now the front of neck still are inflamed but will hopefully start healing now that he’s had bath number 3. This is a great product! My dog’s fur on her ears has grown back after a few applications of this spray on the outside of her ears. She has a stubborn ear infection and was scratching the fur off her ears.
I put this on her body too.
It has helped her body odour and some dry spots have healed nicely.

I have two female pups, a Pug and a Brussels Griffon, both small dogs. Going on 2 months now they have been fighting some kind of allergies, it seems to get worse in the evenings with the itching…Symptoms–itchy red bumps, rash and loosing hair, no fleas but getting scratch attacks like they have them. They are both indoor dogs that hate the outdoors, they are not around any other dogs, they are pad trained, up on their shots and flea meds. No yeasty smell on skin or ears. Do not eat chicken, beef or grains. They eat a dog food with gut health as a priority. They get goat milk yogurt every other day. Snacks are healthy as well. I even switched cleaning products to 100% pet safe…Still 2 months later they are itching. I bought this shampoo, I wash and treat them twice a week with it, its been a month, I can’t really tell if its helping my pug, the itch seems to have subsided a tiny but, she has suffered the most hair-loss, mostly on upper legs and chest, still has bumps and hair-loss. However, it is making it worse for my Brussels Griffon. Last night after bathing them she itched worse then ever and her skin is all pink and if I hadn’t put her in her full body PJ’s she would have itched herself raw. I am not going to continue with the shampoo. I do not want to put the pups on harsh medication till I have done everything in my power to try to do this the natural way, meds will be a last resort.
I gave 3 stars only because I don’t know if it is “seasonal allergies” or the shampoo making their skin worse. However, the shampoo does make them smell nice and their hair silky soft.

My dog started having an allergic reaction to another shampoo + she was going through some puppy pimple breakouts (cream dela crem…) so I bought this and started using it right away. I’d have to admit the purchase was on a whim, because I simply was trying to avoid going to the vet. Long story short, I ended up taking her to the vet due to another issue and I took the shampoo with me to ask her professional opinion on it. She said the ingredients differ from what she recommends/sells at her office, but they pretty much work the same way. I trust this vet because she has never tried to oversell prescription, so if your pup is having an allergic reaction or pimples, try this and see how it goes.
My dog’s fur has been improving since I started using this on her. She loves taking bath in general so having her sit in the tub for 10 min while the shampoo is doing it’s magic, is no trouble for us. Make sure you have some yummy treats next to you, cut them in small pieces and pamper your pup with those in 30 sec intervals. Before you know it, 10 min if over.
The shampoo lathers wonderfully. It doesn’t have a scent, though there is no “wet dog” smell once the bath sesh is over. It won’t bother your skin either while applying it. I have sensitive skin myself and my hands don’t feel dry after pup’s bath sesh is over.

This smells nice and I believe it does work when my dog has some minor issues with the skin. However this last time it turned out to be staph and other resistant bacteria so this wasn’t enough. But I will use it consistently when my dog is done with the antibiotics to prevent any future skin issues .

I only use this brand as they are so upset healthy for my Chop the Boxer baby. He is a large baby and suffers from icky paws. He has lion paws and they get moist and smelly causing fungus and yeast from time to time causing itchy smelly raw paws then he licks them making them more moist ugh gross. This stuff works well. This time I got him some paw dry shampoo which I will use daily then spray his feetsies morning and night till it chills. My dogs tail was looking really yucky. He has licked all the hair off in a spot I couldn’t see 😭 When I noticed o went to see Dr. Google. Then came here and found this! It worked within 24 hours!
He didn’t like the spray. But the fact that he stopped licking and it’s healing in such a short amount of time is freaking amazing!
