The unit works well, BUT the controls are in a bad spot. In moving the wand around, it’s very easy to inadvertently turn it off, or turn off the pulse mode. When you’re holding the handle, your hand is right over the on/off switch, and if you move your finger, you turn off the pulse mode. This happens to me several times during the 10 minute treatment. It’s really annoying. Unfortunately for me, it’s too late to return, so I’ll use it till I find another one, then I’ll donate this one.,

This is the items I purchased, and the returned for three times. Here is why. I am a health professional. We have been using low level laser therapy (LLLT) device for over 15 years with excellent outcome for patients with acute injury or post surgery for pain, inflammation control and scar tissue reduction, using either a commercial one or a family-use one that we found online. Typically it has 660 nM and 830 nM wavelength for the infrared irrigation. We frequently recommended our patients to purchase a family-use one to use at home if they are going to have surgery or have some sort of injuries. However, for whatever reason, we could no longer buy the same device online anymore in the last three months that we used to recommend it to patients. Thus I am trying an alternative. I found this one with good reviews and it advertises 8 x 830 nm and 30x 660 nm, which is the same parameter as our previous LLLT device. So I purchased one. Unfortunately, I received a lower version with 4 x 830 nm and 34 x 660 nm instead, which is different parameters from what we have been recommending. So I texted the seller to replace it with a correct. BUT, again, I received that same lower version device. I called Amazon customer service for intervention, hoping it may alert the seller to do the right thing. No, once again, I received the wrong one. OK, I decided to try the lower one to see if it works. We have several patients with pain sensitization, and they can only tolerate lowest irrigation level of 10-15 Joules for laser therapy as tested with our commercial device. Majority of patients will tolerate 45-80 joules which is the standard level for LLLT treatment. The 10-15 Joules would too low for normal patient. I compare this lower version device with our commercial one, and also let our patients try. The lower level device did nothing, even I set it up to the highest power point it can produce. None of our patients with pain sensitization can feel the irrigation. That means this device power is too weak and unable to produce lowest working power for human benefit.
Update (3/18): I have been contacted by the seller after I submitted my review. I am very impressed by their courtesy and professionalism. They offered me full refund, even it way passed the Amazon one month return windows. I am confused. The way that the seller has been contacting me, regarding my unsatisfying review of the item, is so professional and so courteous. I must admit that I am very satisfied with them in regard in their handling the issue. They are so serious and trustworthy, even when they handled the issue that is less favorable toward the product. I do not have the answer why the product that I received does not present well the way of their professionalism?

I do a lot of home chores, so my hands and knuckles sometimes hurt and swell during cold days. So I bought this Light Therapy Wand, and I used it for 10-20 minutes twice everyday. After 1 week, the swollenness has gone away a lot. I will definitely be using this product a lot in the future. Also, my child’s knee has a big injury and scar, and I am using it to attempt to heal it. It will take some time but it is looking like it is working well.
