I have a very nervous, very anxious Jack Russell/Chihuahua who is 9 years old. For 9 years my dog has bit me for sleeping facing her direction, picking up something I dropped before she could get it, eating my own food, you name it she would bite over it. Once so bad I had to get stitches. But I loved her so much I refused to get rid of her and at the same time I didn’t know how to help her out.
I saw these listed on Amazon and I thought, this can’t hurt. And for me, when it was $12, it broke down to $3 a month which was a bargain!
I started giving her one every night about two months ago and it was like night and day after two weeks. A massive change. First, if I dropped something, she’d go in her kennel until I picked it up. She would let me eat my food and wait off to the side until I was done. The biggest, most important change was last night, after being on it for two months, she not only let me sleep facing her, she laid down on my shoulder and went to sleep on me! That’s massive! I have been wanting this for nine long years! I have finally achieved it with the help of a rancid, foul, stinky chewable. It could smell like a dead body for all I care. She’s getting this for as long as the company exists!

I bought this product for my dog who has noise phobia. He’s not a fan of fireworks and can’t take any prescription medication for it. These chews work great. They do take about 45 minutes to work. I think they’re a bit stinky but my dog loves them.
They come in a nice little container that keeps the chews fresh and are easy to store.

We recently switched to this brand because of the desirable price and used these calming chews for almost two weeks for our two small terriers. These chews smell terrible and could be smelled even through the closed packaging and closed cabinets. We ended up switching them to an air tight container because our kitchen was starting to stink. Admittedly, the chews did work to relax our two small dogs whom we give calming aids to every night for sleeping. Like other reviewers have mentioned, our dogs’ urine began to smell horrid as well. The final straw with these chews was that it was starting to kill our manicured lawn. All throughout our very green lawn, there are yellow discolored spots from the dogs’ urine. This is the only change we have made to their diet in this timeframe and they have no health issues. We’ve been using other calming aids and never had this reaction. We ended up throwing out the container and will go back to our previous brand.

These work great for our rescue Min Pin, she does not like loud noises and is terrified of storms to the point she throws up (we believe she may have been abused in her previous homes before my BF rescued her). Usually we give her one before the storm hits (or fireworks start, etc.) and then an hour or 2 later, we give her another to help calm her nerves. She hates wearing anything so we have never tried a thunder jacket. Before these pills, we would have to hold her close to our body with a pillow over top of her with only her nose exposed in order for her to calm down. These chews have been life saving. The only downside, is the smell is horrible, I have to hold my breath and immediately wash my hands after giving one to her. She seems to like the taste though and I won’t take away any stars just based on the smell. Definitely will buy again.

These little brown cubes calm my Doodle girls intensity. She is 25 lbs and one cube works for her. I used them to train her through separation anxiety. One a day. She loves the flavor. They calm her nerves but do not sedate her. I have purchased them three times and recommend them to family and friends for any anxious dog.

These work great during fireworks or thunderstorms. I love it my dog is hip to them and wont take them with out hiding them in peanut butter. She is 60 pounds I give her two. The directions say she can have three for her weight. But when I did she was HIGH. To high. So two is enough to relax and calm her down. Try less than what the directions say at first. Than increase but I do not recommend giving the maximum dose in the beginning. It says you can give them everyday I wouldn’t do that either. Give when needed. And one more thing. It gives my dog a hangover effect the day so she napped most of the day and had the munchies. No joke.
