I purchased this to help my older Brussels Griffon who suddenly started barking when I would leave the house. I assumed it was because my other dog was becoming different – he was suffering from more seizures that we discovered were stemming from a brain tumor and not epilepsy. I think he was becoming stressed due to his brother’s condition and it made him nervous when I would leave him alone with him, they’re much more sensitive to things than we are that’s for sure. I decided to give this a try and so glad that I did! As soon as I plugged it in he became much calmer and the barking stopped altogether when I would have to leave, he was relaxed and at ease.
Sadly I lost my boy because of that tumor, my little Griff just knew something wasn’t right and it showed. I have adopted another little pup in need so I will be ordering more of this, not that she truly needs it per se, but it does create a calm and comforting environment and since she is a senior, as is my Griff, it can only help to keep them at ease. I can’t recommend it enough.

Amazing, my car has been ripping out her fur and mutilating her tale for over a month, I’ve spent over 1000 dollars on vet visits for them to tell me it’s fleas and to keep a come on her. A month later the problem is so much worse and her fur is matted to her tale. I told myself I was gonna try anxiety treatments before another vet visit bc I was sure she just has ocd. Within hours of plugging it in she was wayyy calmer and more interested, we took the cone off to see what would happen and she started ripping off the scabs and cleaning herself without hurting herself and now she’s completely bald on the tale but she’s not messing with it at all. This plug in literally saved me so much time and money. I was in shambles for 2 months bc my cat was so missrable and now she’s perfectly fine

One of our cats needs to be kept in a crate, when not supervised, following complex surgery to his foot following an accident. Initially he seemed quite agitated but we found that once we had the diffuser in place he seemed much calmer and not so distressed.

Update- here we are approximately a week after purchasing and plugging in my diffusers. The Relivet brand is COMPLETELY EMPTY! What a waste of money. It hasn’t lasted anywhere near 30 days. Meanwhile my other diffuser from a leading brand is doing extremely well and still has a lot of liquid in it. The price is way too high for something that lasted a week and may or may not have worked.
I purchased this in addition to a slightly more expensive and popular diffuser. This one was placed in my daughter’s bedroom. The more expensive one was placed in the master bedroom. The cats travel between both rooms mostly. My cats have been through a lot in the past 6 months. We moved (traumatic for them), then we got a puppy who loves to chase them (very traumatic)!! They went from being indoor/outdoor cats who ran the old house. To being hermits who hardly ever left the bedrooms. Eventually they started scratching furniture and peeing where they shouldn’t pee. I added more litter boxes, bought fancy cat treats, crated the puppy for longer than I should. I tried EVERY THING! I eventually started weighing my options and trying to decide who would need to be rehomed. Within a few days of plugging in this diffuser (and the more expensive brand) the cats stopped soiling and scratching furniture and started crying at the front door to be let out for a couple of hours at a time. Maybe they hate the amazing lavender smell so they are trying to escape it. Maybe it’s a placebo. I don’t know. But my cats seem to have returned to their old selves. If this company started making one that works for husbands I would totally invest in it! It’s worth the try. Make sure your cat/s have plenty of fresh water, clean boxes, permissible scratching areas, etc. If all else fails plug one of these in and say a prayer.

I have an abused kitty that had a rough life as a kitten. Many years of love and care have changed him dramatically, but there are still things that really stress him out and boy is moving one of them.
I’ve only ever moved him once and he spent a week hiding under the bed and would only come out if is if I’m with him.
Anyway, I plugged 2 of these in the same day we moved, and to my surprise, he was stressed about it but for the most part not really. I began to realize both my kitties are just chill and going about their day, smelling their new environment, etc…
This stuff really worked wonders and it also lasts forever, I plugged it in 19 days ago and I only see it at half used. The smell itself is also pleasant for humans so not complaints there.
My only issue was price since I only needed 2 of these temporarily. If they run out and my cats act up I’ll know why and get some refills.

Since I am highly sensitive to smells, I was worried this would have a weird, awful smell but was pleasantly surprised that this gives off an uplifting type of essential oils scent.
I have used it off and on around my cats since they were having trouble dealing with a new kitten in the home, and I think it does help. The only issue I really have with it is that it goes quickly! So I cannot keep this plugged in all the time, like I’d prefer, and have to use it more strategically.
I don’t see a super dramatic change in behavior, however, it is true everyone is getting along much better since utilizing this diffuser, and I think it is genuinely helping.
For the price and how quickly it diffuses, I may run in to having to decide on this or the spray stuff instead.
My friend who came in the house said it smelled like a man’s cologne. I think it smells more like a mix of essential oils. It can be very strong though, so my only wish is that this could be made with different settings, (i.e. 1, 2, 3 dispensing amt), kind-of like some of the plug in air fresheners have. That would be extremely helpful, and would make the product last a bit longer as well (read: more budget friendly!) Still, I’d recommend this to anyone with anxious kitties in the home, it’s definitely worth trying out.

Before I purchased this calming defuser for my cat, My cat would be meowing all of the time, over and over again.
I decided to go and look at a couple of cat calming solutions,and I ran across this brand. The first day I pluged it in, it started working. 😀 So I put one in the bedroom, and one in the kitchen. I have a small apartment. One of them covers 700 ft², so it’s more than enough for my apartment. If you’re thinking about getting this for your cat, please do!!! I’m on my 2nd batch after having a better than I expected experience with the 1st batch. The diffusers worked with the 1st batch but not so much with the 2nd. Have had them plugged in for a month and they’re both still topped-off full. Just switched out the diffusers for the 1st ones. Hoping that works…I’ll let you know 🙏🏻

The high powered essential oil scent hit us within only a few moments of plugging in the diffuser. It is almost sickeningly strong. It was especially bothersome to my wife who is already sensitive to smells. We kept it plugged in though to see if it would actually work on our cats and it did. It worked within a couple of hours and the benefits kept coming. We have 8 cats (yes, we are the crazy cat people of the neighborhood). Our cats were definitely calmer and more peaceful. Even one of our cats who usually stays to herself wanted more attention and got really playful. We also have a male cat who marks everything due to so many other cats around. This did not completely stop, but it did slow way down and this was just after a couple of days. He has also been very calm and more lovable. All of our cats are getting along so much better. We’ve been using it about 10 days now and the scent has diminished somewhat, but still fairly strong. Our concern is the use of essential oils, especially so potent near our fur babies. Maybe if they were diluted more, it would be ok. We have read many articles online (including on the ASPCA website) and there is some warning about using essential oils around pets. So to be on the safe side we have decided to stop the use of this product. We are also concerned about our health breathing in this heavy fragrance every day. It is a shame because it has been so peaceful with our cats. We just can not take the risk in their health or ours.

Our rescue cat who we’ve had for coming on 8 years is a changed cat. She had a bad start in life as a kitten and has always been jumpy and skittish and became a lot worse when our elderly cat passed away in December, just hiding behind the curtain on the window ledge and pulling out her fur. Vet recommended us to get a plug in, but didn’t want to as most of them are pretty toxic. Anyhow, found this natural one and gave it a try. For the first time.e in over 7 years she has decided to sit on our laps and constantly wants to be stroked and fussed. We’re Completely bowled over. Absolute amazing. It took about 2 weeks for this full on effect, but she seemed a lot calmer from day one.

Seems to work well! I have four cats and sometime they get testy with each other. Since plugging these in they have calmed down a good bit! Some Reviews mention a funky smell, I noticed nothing so take that however you want!
Overall if you are looking for a good value for your money to help calm the kitties give this a try
