I like that there are only 60 pieces in this container. I don’t used these chews on a daily basis and use these relaxing chews when I need to take my dog to the groomers or to the vet to help calm him down. He’s 36 pounds so I only give him 2 chews (which is for 20-40 pounds). The groomer said he was well behaved and relaxed. He liked the taste and thought they were snacks. The only thing is that you need to educate your family that these are not treats and keep them separate from the treats, so there is no misunderstanding and giving your pet too much.

Immediately bad. I bought these to help my dog calm down during bath/grooming time. He’s 70 lbs, I gave him 4 at first, then a 5th because after 45 minutes it seemed to have made no difference but I also didn’t want to give him too much. These genuinely made him more anxious. The brushing part was no different than usual, he hated it and was not calmer or more cooperative at all. It became worse when I actually got him in the bath. By far the worst bath experience we’ve ever had. Usually he sits there and pants or paces, this time he was freaking out and trying to jump out of the tub the entire time, which he’s never done before.

We have been using these for over a year for our now 13 year old Mini Goldendoodle. While he has not had any joint problems or issues with mobility, we figured that once he turned 12 we should start something just in case and be ahead of the game.
After about 1 month of being on these we noticed a difference in energy and appetite!
They give our old boy quite the appetite. I am not sure if that is a side effect or not, but our dog rarely eats a meal in 1 sitting. When he gets his nightly supplement he eats his dinner and begs for more. 🤷🏼♀️ On the occasional time we forget his supplement, he is back to his grazing ways.
Now that our old guy is 13, we feel we made a good choice starting the supplement before noticing mobility declines.

The chews are a bit large for a Yorkie and she won’t eat it if I break it up and give it to her in pieces. It’s not her idea of a treat. So I use the back of a large spoon to turn it to dust and mix in a spoonful of her moist food. Then no problem. I give her 30 minutes for it to work, then give her a full grooming. She is calmer without acting drugged. I’m able to brush out any mats, bathe, trim her hair, and even use a grinder on her nails without any complaints!!! No fights! The chews make a big difference in our home grooming experience for the both of us. We only use them for a full grooming, not her daily brushing so the well sealed container will last quite awhile. I do highly recommend these calming chews.

This stuff is the real deal. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! We have a min pin that has been exhibiting increasing levels of fear and anxiety when left alone or when exposed to loud noises. During fireworks or a thunderstorm, HE LOSES HIS EVER LOVING MIND. With 4th of July coming up I got these hoping for some relief for him. The results were exponentially better than expected. He was not even remotely bothered by the fireworks. It was insane to see him totally chill and sleeping when he would otherwise be crying and terrified. My little guy (12 lbs.) has terrible separation anxiety because he’s my velcro dog. Tried 1 chew, nope. Tried 1-1/2, kind of worked. Tried 1-1/2 chew another day, nope. Now he’s on to this and won’t even eat them. I’m going to now try a humane collar that beeps and vibrates or both which seems to have good reviews. I’m so frustrated.

Couple hours after giving my 11 and a half year old Bull Mastiff/Rottweiler two of these cookies, he’s back to trying to play and trying to sprint on walks- he had a bad fall a couple weeks ago where I thought he’d need to be put down and has been quite sore since. I got this in the mail and immediately gave him 2 since he’s 115lbs and the recommendation for that weight is 4, I havent seen him like this since before his fall.
UPDATE- the supplement i chose says no chicken.. my dog who is very allergic to chicken is now having his usual reaction to chicken.. nobody in this house has eaten chicken in over a week and only change made is these treats.. very disappointed as they helped him perk up to his normal self but they may as well be garbage now.. 🤦🏻♀️

I ordered these for my miniature golden doodle for his anxiety during grooming. My pup will eat these as a treat but they have no affect on him. We give him 2 and it do not calm him. He continue to flip out during blow drying and runs rapid. These were a waste of money. Do not waste your money. Try something else because these are glorified smelly treats

My dog has separation anxiety from my partner. I tried these to see if it would help his “anxiety attacks”. My dog ate the product no problem and liked the taste. After trying different dose amounts, I didn’t noticed a change, or that it helped calm him during anxious times.
Add on: I would still highly recommend this product and other products from this company. Their customer service is amazing. They reached out to me after my initial review which shows they care about their costumers.

We were both given to each other and so we began training together when she was 8 weeks old. They start all their Service Dogs out this way. So my Guide Dog Panda is AMAZING. I was amazed how quickly her and I progressed thru the training. The Labs which I have had before were also so amazing. But we get them at 2 to 4 years old. All the training is basically done, we would just have to go thru a 6 wksl period of working together and we basically learned how to give signals and commands to handle these amazing Guide Dogs. By the time we graduate at the end of the 6 weeks we are bonded. The experience Panda (my Minnie Aussie) and I went thru so much faster. The drive to work is so strong in the Aussie breed that they really i mean REALLY REALLY LOVE THEIR JOB. In fact when I have to leave her home for hospital stays etc. She is so mad at me when I get home, she will not let me touch her until she has chewed me out good and proper. Anyway last year we were out walking and waiting at our Grandson’s school bus stop, when she was attacked by three dogs. She was ruched to our vet and saved thank God in Heaven or that. But it has left scares inside her, my vet says Panda has P.T.S.D. now and severe separation anxiety now as well. She still loves her work and we both are doing great together. But if she see’s a dog she freaks out , Our vet suggested looking for products like this online since the Prozac was not working. . So I tried this and it took way too many to even get close to helping her. So I am still searching for the right product. But this one was not it. did not comfort her down. They were very easy to dose her because she loved them. But no matter how many my vet said to up the chews the barking wouldn’t stop. *which I failed to mention she barks at home in car at any dog she sees or hears.) These might be great for less stressed trauma impacted dogs.

These arrived very quickly, I read other reviews and people commented on the smells, but the smell really isn’t bad and it is for a dog so they smell like dog treats, which is what my dog thinks they are lol I think they calm her a bit to ease her anxiety But not as much as I would hope overall, I’d say this is a good product. If you’re just looking for something to help calm, this might be right for your dog. I did give her three before I sent her to the groomers and the groomer still could not get her nails done , lol it just might be my dog

This product is amazing! It puts my dog at ease in no time – which is not an easy endeavour given how hyper he can be at times. I have the comfort knowing that when I give my dog the suggested amount in accordance to his weight, I can see him just chilling and relaxing. Highly recommend for over stimulated or hyper dogs. Our golden hates fireworks and storms. We have used another brand of chews before, but even on a full dose, 4 chews, she would still try to hide in the basement. With the BARK & SPARK advanced, we only give her 2 chews for most situations and she sleeps through just about any loud noises. On the 4th of July we gave her the full dose of 4 chews and she slept in her bed for the full night. I highly recommend these chews. They are easy to chew and our dog loves them.

We have an extremely high energy 6 month old Husky-Shepherd (60lb). He is deep in his defiant teenager stage. We walk him 4 times a day. We play with him. He never runs out of energy! We needed help!
I read a lot of reviews on this product and how it didn’t work for some dogs. I took the chance and bought it anyway.
It works on our dog – sometimes we call him Stoner Boy. He’s still him and can still be energetic despite the calming chews, but we have noticed a difference in him. He doesn’t zoom around the house at full speed looking for trouble, as much. We are able to enjoy our walks a lot more. He listens better and is able to just chill -quietly playing with his toys and napping. He sleeps through the night and wakes up calm.
I read some complaints about the smell of the calming chews, but our dog is not picky and took them right away. When he hears the shake of the container, he’s excited to get his treat.
We give him one chew 4 times a day and it seems to work for him. We don’t want him sedated – just less hyperactive.
We will continue to buy this product because it has worked well for us.

Gimmick? Idk I’ve tried like 10 different kinds of calming chews and even though I walk my dog a mile every day and he has play time he still has insane energy and is not calm in situations where I need him to be. Dog will eat them out of my hand only not on the floor. Not super effective but maybe it works for some … my dog is 40 pounds and even if I give him an extra no bueno. My dog doesn’t bark much though so I can’t speak on that maybe it works or helps with that? Easy enough to get him to eat. Ease of use and barking might work for you

Our hyper lab mix loves these treats. We give them in the morning with breakfast. We have been using them about a month. I am not seeing a drastic change in her anxiety or energy level but I would say that there is a subtle change. I ordered a second container to see if we get better results with more time. If I don’t see more change over time I might give another type a try. The only other feedback I have is that they do not smell great to me but the smell doesn’t seem to bother our dog. She loves them!

There was no calming effect on my dogs. I made sure to give the amount of treats according to the weight chart. My dogs loved getting these treats once a week, but they did not work as advertised. Not worth the price for just tasty dog treats.
