I recently purchased the “Calming Chews for Dogs – Dog Calming Treats” with high hopes of alleviating my dog’s anxiety issues, particularly around separation anxiety and hyperactivity. Initially, I was drawn to the claim that these chews could offer up to 12 hours of relief and would start working within 30 minutes. The fact that they were made in the USA with only natural ingredients, and without any artificial flavors, was an added bonus.
Following the guidelines, I gave my dog (18lb) the recommended dosage of 2 chews. When there was no noticeable difference in my dog’s behavior, I cautiously increased the amount, hoping to see some of the promised calming effects. Unfortunately, even after giving it a fair chance and adjusting the dosage, there was still no significant improvement.
I’m aware that results can vary widely from one pet to another, and what doesn’t work for one might work wonders for another. However, I was particularly let down by the lack of any noticeable effect, despite the product’s strong assurances and positive reviews.
On a positive note, the process of ordering and receiving the product was smooth, and the quality of the ingredients seems good, with no adverse effects observed from attempting a higher dosage. However, based on my experience, I cannot recommend these chews to other pet owners looking for a solution to similar issues.
I had high hopes for this product, especially given its vet recommendation and natural ingredient list, but it unfortunately did not meet my expectations. While I appreciate the company’s commitment to quality and safety, I will be seeking a refund under their 90-day money-back guarantee and continuing my search for a more effective solution.

I bought these calming chews so my crazy dog wouldn’t scare away the new mobile groomer. I gave her two chews (per intructions). She spit one out, never tried to taste the second one, then rolled around on them violently for a bit. The energy she burned while rolling did seem to calm her down a bit. Nah! Just kidding! She wasn’t calm at all! Thankfully she had the fastest grooming trip to the van in the history of mobile grooming, but she no longer smells like calming chews. I honestly don’t know if they work if eaten. Leave it to my dog to turn her nose up at something meant to be eaten and two minutes later eat the fuzz that got stuck on her face while she was annihilating another lamb chop toy to get the squeakers out. Chugs! Pug and the chihuahua genes in one dog… it’s like having a dog with multiple personality disorder.

The companies product is not a reflection of my review ! I recommend if you have a fur baby that already has anxiety , and noise fears , possibly have fur baby start then prior to may event coming up or get a vet to assist in some calming meds . I did have issues with product not working well for my fur baby , but everyone is different so I’m sure sometimes it may not fit the fur babies needs . That being said , the company responded quickly and offered me a full refund . So great company and great products as well as healthy for fur babies .

My dog was neutered. Of course after a couple of days he wants to run and jump. I didn’t want him to bust his stitches. So I give him two of these, and he doesn’t try to convince me to let him play..
The label is correct, it takes about 30 minutes to kick in and voilà. Peaceful dog and absolutely NO side effects. He loves the taste, too.

Idk, seems like doesn’t work. Bought this item to calm my friend’s dog when I look after her, she barking all night long and even with this pills. Don’t wanna put 1 star, maybe this dog is just uncontrollable :))

I’ve tried a ton of calming chews and these seem to really help my pup with thunderstorms and fireworks. No it does not completely take away her anxiety but coupled with some quiet ears, closing windows and playing music it helps a ton! It’s taken years for me to find a good calming treat like these. I give her one for storms and two for fireworks and 3 on July 4. She weighs 35 pounds and is a sensitive girl. It helps on road trips as well. She does not appear to have any digestive issues and she loves the smell and taste of them.
