Bought this for a male golden retriever with a 16″ neck that weighs 65 pounds. Needed it to help him recover from neutering. Collar does not stop him from licking his surgery area at all. Sized according to instructions on package.
Instructions are quite poor as well.

This was a great alternative collar to the “plastic” collar our vet provided to us after our dog was neutered. It provided enough flexibility for him to be able to eat and drink comfortably while preventing him from reaching his stitches! He was able to navigate the house without bouncing off the walls and it made recovery more peaceful for all of us.

I got this for my 100 pound golden retriever because he had a hotspot that he kept licking. It was so big that he could not lay down wearing it. It was not helpful.

I loved it! My dog had an ACL repair and could not touch his stitches for a week. The cone provided post op was awful and pitiful. I ordered this and got it the next day… great shipping. I have since washed it twice and I love that it’s so easy. I just threw it into the washing machine and air dried. This saved the both us & kept us all happy! 🙌🏻 I would buy again/recommend it! In the photo attached he would fall right to sleep after his meds.
