My Cavalier is really enjoying these Wuffes Advanced Hip and Joint Supplements. He thinks he’s getting a treat and I love that it’s easy to give him his supplements. Overall, I think the supplements are helping him. He’s 10 years old and beginning to slow down and not jump on the furniture like he used to. He seems to be able to jump on the sofa easier (even though he has stairs he could use) and is resting well when he settles down. If you have a dog who is getting to the point of needing a hip and joint supplement, definitely give these a try! Dogs love the taste, the value is good, and I feel better as a dog mom knowing he’s hopefully getting some pain relief.

My beagle got excited every time I picked up the jar containing the product and consumed it immediately, so she obviously enjoyed the taste. Product itself stuck together, so it was more difficult to take out one piece at time. Product was also a little firm and took some time to chew for an older dog with dental problems. From what I could tell, it aided mobility for an old, overweight dog.

First of all — he actually loves the pork flavor. No need to hide it in food or disguise it like with other supplements. He treats it like a reward, which makes it easy to give daily.
Each chew includes ingredients commonly used to support joint health in dogs, like glucosamine, chondroitin, MSM, Omega-3s, and green-lipped mussel. While I can’t make medical claims, I do feel confident knowing I’m giving him a product designed to support mobility, especially as he gets older.

I have a 10-year-old wiener dog who was suffering from severe back and hip pain. She’s a little overweight at about 16 pounds and wasn’t moving much, just mostly laying around. I was heartbroken watching her struggle. She was on two types of strong pain meds daily, and even then, it barely helped. We were honestly preparing for the worst and considering putting her down—it was that bad.

I ordered these after reading multiple reviews over the past year. I admit that I was skeptical but decided to give it a try for our 14 year old Husky shepherd mix. He was already taking 2 other supplements for joint discomfort as well as a pain medication and salmon oil. I can’t begin to express our surprise and happiness when in a week’s time, our old pup, Lazarus was able to get up and walk around without whining. He is back to wanting to go on walks again. I immediately ordered 2 more jars as the following week they had a Prime week special. It’s a little pricey but well worth it to see the quality of life returned to our furry family member. Don’t hesitate like I did. It is well worth every penny.

Is your dog sore when walking? Mine was at 5 years old. I did not want to give shots. Both back legs bad arthritis. After first week noticed a difference. Not walking straight legs with her back legs. Could get up easier. Week 3 was starting to run. Weeks 4 zoomies. After a year giving to my one dog noticed my tripods back leg was getting sore. She was starting to slip. Started him on it. Again saw slight improvement within a week. Week 3 no more slipping on this back leg. Week 4 for was able to run the fence a little with neighbors dogs. 4 months later still running around with no problems. Great product. My vet even checked it out and said it looks good and if working keep using it. Waffles is awesome and would highly recommend. The say double up first month but did not need to with my dog. But would definitely do that and give it a chance to work. My dogs are 22 lbs and 45 lbs (missing his leg).

I wrote the following to Wuffe at their customer service/warranty email, but still have yet to hear back (UPDATE: I did hear back from Wuffe finally…their response is at the bottom of this message, and it is a disgusting response):
“I ordered the “Wuffes Chewable Dog Hip and Joint Supplement for Small & Medium Breeds – Glucosamine & Chondroitin Chews – Dog Joint Supplements & Vitamins – Extended Joint Care – 60 Ct” product on August 28th via Amazon, and I started a Subscribe & Save the same day. My dog was 16 years old, and starting to have issues with her hips and walking, so I figured I’d give these a try. We gave the recommended dosage to her the day after the first container arrived, and she instantly started going downhill that same day. Not thinking that it was because of the Wuffes, I continued to give them to her for a couple of days. The second day she wasn’t walking at all. She stopped eating and was VERY lethargic. I stopped giving them to her and she was able to start walking a little bit again, and eat, and drink, but she still was in terrible condition. I also noticed that her stomach was swollen. I can’t be certain, but I’m pretty sure she started to have seizures as well. It was a terrible situation all around. We had to put her down on Saturday. Her health went from starting to get bad to having to be put down within a week after starting these. Nothing else changed with her diet nor routines, other than giving her these Wuffes.”
For my review: I wish I had read some of the other reviews about how deadly these are and how they made other dogs sick. Our dog was healthy, other than her legs starting to get weaker. I have never seen her stomach bloat up as much as it did when she had these things. I’ve never seen it bloat up at all, actually, and she eats basically anything. She stopped eating after taking these. She stopped doing anything other than laying down, sleeping, and having what looked to be seizures. I never should have given her these “supplements” which turned out to be poison. We had to take her in to be put down after she had multiple seizure-like episodes. During one of them, she let out a very loud, whimpering howl, which we all thought was the TV at first, then saw her arching her back and her neck and realized it was her. It was horrifying and so sad to watch. She hardly ever makes noises other than eating noises. These are truly terrible products and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

Having to put my dog down is MORE than an “inconvenience”. And how in the world am I to “give (them) another chance” when my dog is dead because of their product? Unbelievable! I also asked them to pay for the vet bill of putting my dog down, but they refused. Great. So I get my money back on the product that has killed my dog, and I no longer have my baby. Fantastic. DON’T buy anything to do with this company!

This supplement is UNBELIEVABLE!!!! I have 8 year old husky and 3 months ago she started sliding her feet like being on ice. Things started spiraling down fast after that. Within days she stopped getting up or walking. She started urinating right under herself which of course created a lot of stress to my whole family. We had to wash her and the floor multiple times a day. We had to get a sling to use under her tummy just to walk her, suspending her back feet. She was growling when we tried to move her or lift her, and she even bit a family member once. It was a nightmare and we were considering putting her down. I’ve tried a different supplement before but it made no difference. Till I came across an ad on FB for this supplement. Based on reviews it was promising, so I decided to try even though it’s quite expensive.
Fast forward. Within a week my dog started getting up on her own. Moving slow, but at least we stopped using a sling to walk her. Now it’s been 2 months and I went through 2 jars so far. MY DOG IS ALMOST RUNNING. Not as she used to yet, but she is heck of a lot more mobile. She gets up, walks around all by herself. And borderline running to the kitchen when she hears her food being put in. It’s truly a magic what this supplement did to my dog. I am on subscription now. OK.. I didn’t hold out a whole lot of hope, as a lot of these things just don’t work! Butttt… I am telling you our 13 year old lab has made a turnaround on these! She’s acting like a young dog again and has had a lot of relief in her hips… She’s jumping on the couch again, having her upside down rolling fits and running for the tennis balls again. The only thing I have noticed, and she’s been on 2 chews daily for four weeks, is that she’s itching a little bit and she’s never had that issue before. I don’t have any proof it’s related to these but she’s ready to drop down to one chew a day so we’ll see if that helps the itching. Frankly, it’s very mild and I would take it over the stiffness any day for her.. anyway, I highly recommend these and would be interested to hear if anyone else’s dog has experienced itching with them.

We started giving our 12‑year‑old dog the Wuffes Advanced Dog Hip and Joint Supplement with Glucosamine, Chondroitin, Omega 3, MSM, and Green Lipped Mussel (120 Pork Flavored Chews for Small Dog Breeds) in June 2025. He has arthritis and Lyme disease, and since starting these chews we’ve seen real improvements. His mobility has increased, stiffness has lessened, and he seems more comfortable during daily walks and playtime. The supplement has also supported his overall strength and energy, giving him the nutrients he needs for healthier bones and muscles.
Although the chews are designed to be palatable, he isn’t fond of the flavor, so we usually tuck them into a piece of cheese. It would be fantastic if Wuffes offered these in a peanut butter cookie form, which I think dogs would love even more. Overall, this product has been a valuable addition to his care routine, and we’re grateful for the positive changes it’s brought to his quality of life.

This product is magic. I have a senior 11-year-old Chihuahua. He’s pretty picky. I started noticing him having creeky bones, especially in the morning. He would favor one side and just have a little bit of stiffness in his joints. I started giving him half of a wuffes in the AM and he almost immediately was lubricated and stopped displaying any signs of stiffness seemingly overnight. I can’t rave about this enough. He likes it in his food and it crumbles up really nicely if your dog doesn’t like taking whole treats like mine.

I took my dog to the vet because he was having issues getting up. He was also slightly dragging his back leg when he walked. The vet said it was a degenerative issue. I started using these with the Hemp Well chews after my dogs Rimadyl ran out. This combo was a game changer. He is doing so much better. He doesn’t have issues getting up and down and he hardly drags his back leg when walking. For whomever reads this because your dog might be having the same issues. After a month I tried lowering the dose like it says you can on the container and I saw a minor setback so he has to be on the full dose. Hope this helps.

These worked wonders on our 12+ year old dog. Winter is especially hard on our boy’s joints due to the cold, and the last two winters he has really slowed down to the point he mostly just sleeps. We tried these this year, and he’s so much more mobile again. He’s going up and down stairs, on and off the couch, and overall just moving more. While he’s still a little shaky and clearly not as strong as he used to be, I think this has brought him back five years in mobility, and he’ll now be able to build back some muscle. I have been holding off leaving a review until our two dogs had taken them for awhile. I am very pleased. Our dogs are both seniors and 1 has signs of hip dysplasia and our other, she’s just slowed down. I have noticed a marked improvement on their movement. Both of them are doing so much better.
