A friend’s daughter in law works for this company. I cant remember what her title is but as I understood it she works in formulating and health benefits of the ingredients. So THIS is how I learned of this company JUST FOOD FOR DOGS:
My friend had gotten a new dog and for a year she had the hardest time with skin and allergy issues and spent sooo much time and money at the vet…. One holiday her son and daughter in law came home for the holidays and she suggested she order a skin an allergy supplemental style treat that her employer makes and sells. It worked and well she said!
Out of the blue, our dog began showing some allergy issues and my friend suggested i try what she had and went on to bring me a couple from her tub. Shed swore by this supplement and went on to tell me of her sons wife and her profession. Within a few days of eating the skin and allergy chews, she seemed to have some relief! So immediately I was a fan.
I began looking into their other products. One MAJOR concern for me with my sweet Precious (poodle mix) had always been her food. You hear all these horror stories about dog food ingredients and its believed that dogs have a shorter life span now a days because of precisely this…. dog food INGREDIENTS. So this has always been a huge concern for me. I want and need, my sweet gal around for MANY years, not just the average of today, of 8-10 years. She is quite the pickiest eater though. I dont mind spending money on quality product, so long as she eats it. And there in lies the problem, my concern was of course her liking and eating it, and not being stuck with a $50 – $80 loss! I am about a week and a half in to ordering and feeding this dog food (the ones in the packets) to her. They are Shelf stable til opened and then must be refrigerated. Then it must be used within 3 days of opening… knowing my finicky gal…. and her picking at it eating style…. I was thinking this is not gonna go well! I was SO pleasantly surprised! She has been eating it and liking it! To the point she’s been asking for more!!!! Which is GREAT! Each packet serves her 3-4 generous meal portions. (Its all based on your pets weight size.) So in actuality its hardly anymore expensive than cesars “craft selections” meals, which had been her recent go to. Id been supplementing the standard pate’ with the cesars brand special craft selections & also their cesar’s kibble. It was necessary with her finickiness (as we tried alllll brands) & was all adding up, but i didnt see it, nor did i have a choice. It was the brand she did best with… still finicky with it, but not as bad as the others. So we stuck with it. There was soo much waste over the years and had been currently too, even with the cesars. You do not know how happy I am to be feeding her this JUST FOOD FOR DOGS food, consisting of human grade- quality ingredients. It makes my heart happy and my mind at soooo much peace! It looks better than regular grocery & pet store brand dog foods & It smells better than them too. Given the price and quantity ratio, I thought id supplement her go to (cesar’s) with the JUST FOR DOGS dog food. But after the approval she’s displayed upon eating it– and knowing how healthy the alternative is…. I will be buying this and this brand only!!! Def a no brainer! What really gave me profound & ultimate peace of mind is that a good friends family works there and all the claims to the healthy, quality ingredients and such arent just claims or gimmicks. They truly do use the best and healthiest. I am so excited to continue on this path with my furbaby!
