The smell is a bit pungent at first, but my dogs absolutely love it — they went through the bag fast, especially when I mixed it with chicken broth and bites of chicken. The lamb and rice recipe has quality ingredients with a crunchy mini-chunk texture that’s easy for them to chew. Overall the food quality is great, and despite the strong smell it’s clear my dogs enjoy every bite.

Always use IAMS green bag but 1 of our Doodles has terrible ear wax and gunk. Vet recommended switching to this IAMS- WORKED LIKE A CHARM! His ears look like little baby ears – clean, soft and healthy in less than a week!! Amazing !

My dog likes the Iams dog food. Seems like good quality. I like to buy the mini chunks even though my dog is a very big dog. Problem with a promotional offer to receive a $30.00 credit if spending more than $100.00. I ordered 3 bags of Iams dog food totaling over $100.00. Advertised by spending more than $100.00, you will receive a $30.00 credit. I ordered in 1 transaction. I had a pending hold on my account for this 1 transaction. However, I was billed in 2 transactions. I received my 3 bags of dog food same delivery day. It appears since processed in 2 transactions (each under $100.00). I did not qualify for the $30.00 credit. Advertised to be issued after delivery. In the future, I will only be purchasing if receiving an instant coupon at checkout. Very disappointed. My dog eats Iams dog food. Not sure if Amazon or Iam’s caused this misleading offer. My dog enjoys the food. I like to give him different flavor when starting a new bag. Obviously, only having 1 dog. I’ve been feeding my dog IAMS Proactive Health Minichunks with Lamb & Rice for a while now, and it’s been a great choice. He’s a medium/large-sized dog (60lbs) and really seems to enjoy the taste — he always finishes his bowl!
I like that the kibble is small enough for him to chew easily, and the lamb & rice formula agrees with his sensitive stomach. His coat looks shiny and healthy, and he has plenty of energy.
The 30 lb. bag is a good value and lasts us quite a while. It’s easy to store and stays fresh if you keep it sealed.
Overall, I’m really happy with IAMS and would definitely recommend it to other dog owners looking for a reliable, affordable, high-quality food.
