Much bigger than I thought. Has the sticky bottom that grips the dash, but is not adhesive. If it gets full of dust or dog hair in our case, you rinse under running water. It has a nice lip around it to keep change or opens from sliding off. And the 2 notches actually work to hold my phone securely! Holds the phone straight up and down, not at an angle. A very good addition to the car. Would be a good gift.

I like the look and feel of this dashboard mat. The high walls and phone slits make it handy for holding your phone, wallet, change, receipts, etc. Material feels solid and sturdy. Larger than expected!

Update, will not hold the phone up while driving. Sitting still is ok, but after driving with the phone in the slots, it falls over all the time. As a tray, it stays out, even after moving it from place to place
