Excellent tea for sickness and scratchy throats. However, my husband sings and he uses it to warm up his vocal cords and it works wonderfully! It has a pleasant and slightly sweet taste and is great on it’s own, however, adding a bit of honey enhances the soothing properties.

Throat coat tea is a staple item at our home. We use it year round. It’s a great tea to make a cheaper version of the Starbucks Medicine Ball Tea. Add a little honey and a dehydrated lemon or orange slice and yummy!!!

My go to night drink if my throat starts to hurt. My kids also love drinking this with half milk in it to wind down for bed time. Very good but different mix of cinnamon and mint together. Would recommend as a drink to have during the cold season.

Throat Coat with slippery elm soothes my throat, so I can sing with the frog that moved in a number of moths ago. It’s a Traditional herbal tea and really great.

I have no idea why grocery stores around me have stopped carrying this tea. It’s positively my favorite tea for when I’m feeling under the weather. Add some honey and lemon, and you’re golden!
This tea has a slight floral flavor with a Spearmint twist. It’s not only good for a roughed up throat, but it is soothing on a stomach ache as well. Sometimes I drink it when I’m sad, because I call it my “hug in a mug” as it just tastes like a hug in liquid form.

Slipper elm is an acquired taste but I am absolutely addicted to this tea. I buy it in bulk. Sweet but not sugary. Savory but doesn’t linger as an after taste. Literally coats your throat, which is great if your sick or in a job that requires a lot of conversation.

As often as I can afford to, I love to send a couple of orders of this tea to a childhood friend of mine, I’ve known since I was 12. Both her and her husband rave about the medicinal properties of this tea and swear it’s the only thing that is keeping them healthy, so I try to never let them run out! They always have a big pitcher of iced tea waiting in the fridge, so we always enjoy a cold glass together while we get a chance to catch up on everything and everyone. Although they seem to prefer drinking it cold, I find it has more of an aroma when served as a hot cup of tea and I find that relaxing to sip on but it’s enjoyable either way. The value of being beneficial for your health, well that’s just a plus as far as I’m concerned, I’m glad they introduced me to this brand of tea and it’s healing herbal combination that works so well together. Enjoy several cups or glasses per day to reap the maximum benefits.
It does tend to be a bit on the expensive side but I love to catch it when it’s got a discount or coupon that I can feel good about getting a little break on the price while I’m sending something special to a very dear friend. I know she’ll just have a big smile on her face when she gets an unexpected delivery!
