overall, it seems to be a decent serum. i just, personally, cannot stomach the smell. it’s such an odd scent & with it being on the face, it’s all i can smell. it helped make my skin soft & smooth, as well as hydrated, but i just couldn’t handle the scent.

My skin is super sensitive and temperamental and retinoids absolutely wreak havoc on my skin. I’m 41 and this is the time where I NEED to have very specific anti-aging products in my routine. Every single retinol product I’ve used, even prescribed, have just completely backfired.
I did a lot of research and came across this product as an alternative. I’m not kidding you when I say that from the time I started using this particular product (there are a LOT of Bakuchiol products on the market) to now, my skin is noticeably smoother, refined, more lifted and firmer.
After washing my face using a two step method with first using an oil cleanser to remove makeup and then going into my face wash, this is the first thing I apply to my skin after patting my face dry.
I use 3 pumps, apply to my entire face and neck and then I use a derma roller after applying to push and massage all the product into my skin. I’ll let that sit for about 10-15 mins before applying following serums I’m alternating between
and then apply my moisturizer as my last step.
I’ve been through 3 bottles at this point. There was a period between bottle 2 and 3 where I lapsed in repurchasing and my skin started looking tired, dull, noticeably less firm and my forehead lines and under eyes became more pronounced. I knew I needed to repurchase and within a week all those things were rectified.
It’s not harsh, smells amazing, feels great to apply, and works wonders.
It’s a staple in my skincare.
If you don’t tolerate retinoids or don’t want leap into that realm, get this product instead. It works, it’s worth the price, it’s amazing.

I ordered Moon Dew eye cream July 26. I noticed the label for the ingredients was VERY evasive, they don’t actually show the ingredients that are in this product.
Yet and still, I put the cream under my eyes. Didn’t take long because my skin started feeling queasy, like something wasn’t quite right. Took about twenty minutes of feeling uncomfortable and I noticed skin under my eyes felt completely DRIED OUT! What happened to develop was a painful redness that went all over my forehead, eyelids and corners of my eyes! I was shocked but that wasn’t the worst thing to happen. I woke up next day and my eyelids were so SWOLLEN that I could barely open my eyes! And what I had developed on my eyelids and now my cheek area too , was a WEEPING ECZEMA! It was very painful! I threw the product into the trash!
I tried to cooperate with Herbivore as I’ve sent them an email explaining what happened, and asked for a refund, They did not even respond to my email so I had no choice but to write this review as a WARNING to others who have sensitive skin, eczema or dermatitis prone skin, or just people who care about what ingredients they are using on their skin!

It takes very little product to cover your entire face. I’ve tried several streams and all were sticky, this was like a drink of water on the skin and absorbed quickly. I like the dewy glow it gives me. I liked this product so much that I bought the entire line. That’s how impressed I was. I’ll be back with updates on the other products but this is a GREAT START!!!

I’m a working mom of a feral toddler and I needed this serum. I love that it’s quick and easy to apply since time for myself is very limited. Very lightweight and has a nice smooth texture. My skin type gets dry in both winter and summer months so this absorbed quickly and noticeably got at some of my dry patches.
If I can’t squeeze in a shower I make the effort to at least wash my face, pat dry with clean towel then use this at the first step for my skincare routine.
I’m very cautious of the ingredients I use on my skin and lean towards vegan, I don’t like the thought of using anything with animal byproducts on my face. I use a pump each time so it should last me awhile.

I have tried this for the last 5 days every night and my skin looks so plump and dewy. This is a sticky formula that has to be pressed into the skin. It’s very absorbent and the ingredients are clean, and it comes in a glass bottle! I love how soft and clear my skin has been looking. Highly recommend!

Hrrmmmm…I cannot tell you how excited I was to try this! Claims it instantly firms, sign me up, increases hydration sign me up, Herbivore brand, sign me up! Sadly, this was a bust. My eyes feel dry, no firming, no where near any of my other eye creams, even the cheap ones. I have more fine lines than if I didn’t use any eye cream at all. Not impressed.

I was looking for something that would be gentler on my skin than a retinol is, and I’m really glad I found this. It’s nice and hydrating, seems to really help with plumping the fine lines and rough spots. A little goes a long way, too, so it actually seems pretty economical for the size and price. I like to apply this at night and see great results in the morning.

Plant based or non retinol fan, this is perfect. It is a bit thin, but sticky. I have noticed and difference, especially right after my night routine. Faint scent, nothing too radical.

I can’t tell much of a noticeable difference but maybe it’s doing something? Went through N entire bottle and now trying a different brand. I still have some melasma and dark spots, although maybe a tad lighter- but also use vitamin c serum so that may be what’s helping? Texture is fine easy to dispense.

I’ve been using this for almost five years now. When I first started using it the results were amazing… my grown kids even would comment on how my skin looked so much better without makeup up. Definitely evens out tone and brown spots. I have sensitive skin and retinol makes my skin peel so I can’t use it. I have no issues with this product at all and it’s been 5 years…. I put it on every night after I wash my face even around my eyes. Feelslight (almost like water – it’s clear) and not greasy at all. Only thing I wish they would go back to the eye dropper they used to have, I don’t like the pump as much but it’s the same great product. Highly recommend!!

I was a former tretinoin user for several years and it really did make my skin smooth and blemish-free, but I had to stop using it when I got pregnant with my third child. After he was born I wanted to get my smooth skin back so I decided to give this a try to see if it really was an alternative to retinol. I started using this about 2 weeks ago and in the last 4ish days I’ve noticed my skin is so smooth and soft, very similar to how it felt when I was using a retinoid, without the irritation. I have noticed a couple of very minor breakouts at the same time my skin became noticeably softer and smoother so maybe there is a slight purge period? Either way I’m going to continue using this. It’s amazing!

I like this product for my face. I usually use it at night after washing my face before I go to sleep. It has really helped with my skin tone and is easy to apply on my face. I prefer bakuchiol over retinol because it’s less rough on my skin. I believe this serum is great value for my money.

I’ve struggled with acne on and off for YEARS, and when I say this product stopped it in its tracks, I’m not kidding!! Retinol wrecked my skin (I went from 5-6 lesions a day to about 20– don’t care about the purge, that’s a hell no for me), so I’ve been using Differin for the past 5 years until it just kind of stopped working three months ago. Finally I found this product because I’m hoping to get pregnant soon, and it stopped my acne in its tracks! It’s only been about 5 days, but my cysts have shrunken dramatically, my texture is silky smooth, and no new zits are showing up. This is IT if you want something natural and gentle! Wish it was cheaper, though. If anything changes, I’ll report back, but so far, I LOVE it

Still loving this serum, but I wanted to share that I’ve read recently that it works as an alternative to 0.1% retinol when applied TWICE daily!! My skin began to purge when I did this, got a couple pimples rapidly then disappeared and now my skin is clear and smooth. TWICE a day! Put on sunscreen after
