I’ve purchased this stone many times. I bought this particular piece as a gift and was do excited. Unfortunately, this looks nothing like moss agate. I get that it’s raw but it looks like driveway gravel. Totally opaque and not green. No sign of moss in the stone. The wire wrapping is chintzy. The stone is too large and heavy to be jewelry. This combination caused the stone to literally fall out of its setting the moment I opened it and held it up. It literally could not withstand gravity. Total disappointment. Now I’ll be scrambling like a maniac trying to find a replacement gift in time.

This necklace really is a Raw Real Amethyst. However, for one mine came like really dirty looking. No matter how much I’ve cleaned it, it still looks like it has dirt on it. Not pretty for jewelry. Second, the actual necklace, the chain part, it broke after my 3rd time wearing it. And the metal part wrapped around the amethyst is cheap quality as well.

The stone is decent with it’s coloring but it’s the size of a giant walnut. It’s a raw stone, and huge. Lol, the thin cheap faux leather strap will likely snap under its weight. I may break it to make a couple smaller pieces but it wasn’t what I was expecting as far as size goes. It’s beautifully bulky. I would give the stone itself 3 stars but this package gets two stars because it’s paired with a cheap strap.
