I bought this calming pheromone diffuser for my dog, who suffers from separation anxiety and loud noises, and it’s been wonderful! Since I used it, I’ve noticed he’s much calmer, sleeps better, and no longer hides every time there are fireworks or thunderstorms.
The kit is very complete: it comes with a plug and 3 refills, which is perfect because it lasts a long time and I don’t have to worry about refilling it so often. Plus, the scent is very mild, barely noticeable to humans, but it has had a great effect on my dog.
100% recommended if your pet suffers from stress or nervousness. Totally worth it!

The biggest reason for the 2 star review is whatever oil they pair with the pheromones caused a bad reaction to me— very itchy skin allergy that covered 90% of my body. Benadryl didn’t help it either. I mention this so others considering getting this can keep this in mind.

A coworker recommended this but I was skeptical. Gave it a try anyway and wow! Honestly can’t believe it but it really does seem to have a positive effect on our dog. We’ve made no other changes to routine or environment but this plug-in, but suddenly her separation anxiety drastically decreased. We’ve had way less destruction since using it AND when I get home, she’s lying down!, not dancing desperately at the pen door like before. It’s not a magic wand but it’s dang close.

It helps our 10-year-old male, Ozzy, but our five-year-old female, Holland, is scared of everything for no clear reason. Since plugging in this diffuser, the house has been noticeably quieter. I also bought the calming collars and only put one on Holland. Between the diffuser and her collar, we finally have something that actually takes the edge off. It feels like we might actually get a calm, quiet home for once. We’ll definitely keep buying these.

I have super hyper dogs. This Infuser is great! It works well to calm them BUT… Not for small rooms! Too much will make them ill.

We have been working with a trainer to help our new rescue adapt to our current pup and get some manners. This didn’t help calm her at all.

I’ve never had a male dog and apparetly if you want too long to neuter a male pup, they are prone to marking. Not full out pees but just a sprinkle. I’ve been putting up with this about 2 years and my house was smelling like a veterinarian waiting room…
A friend told me about this product and I can’t believe I waited this long to try it. My dog, a three year old yorkie shitzu mix, had developed a habit of marking around the house, especially near the front door and furniture legs and in the kitchen on our island. I’d cleaned, walked, and retrained, but nothing stuck—until this. Within just a few days of plugging it in, the marking completely stopped.
What I Loved:
• It works! My dog seems noticeably more relaxed and less territorial.
• No strong smell. It’s odorless to me, but clearly effective for him.
• Easy to use. Just plug it in and forget it. No mess, no effort.

Well, this product did not make a huge difference. It did seem to make a slight difference. In the fact my dogs were a little calmer around company. For me this was not worth the cost for the slight behavioral changes noticed but like any always recommend trialing for yourself as all dogs are different. The other reason I gave four stars is because the actual diffuser gets quite warm compared to other plug-in such as my laid plug-in, which gets warm but not as warm as this product seems to all plugged in so I did not leave it plugged in when I was not at the house For safety reasons

I would give this 5 stars, because it does seem to help. But the first two bottles only diffused about a third of the liquid and then stopped. So calmer dog, less shedding for a few days and then the problems start again. Does anyone else have this issue with this product?

I’ve been using the Calmin Pheromone Diffuser refill for my puppy, Flash, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the results. The product came quickly and was as advertised but I’m not sure how well it works. We moved to a new apartment and one of our dogs started having “accidents”. I don’t know if it’s anxiety from the move or if he’s just trying to mark his territory (he is neutered). The first plugin seemed to maybe be working for a little while after we got it but he still has accidents a couple of times a week regardless what we do. I would definitely recommend giving them a try but not convinced they are a miracle cure.
