This is not really a great shirt. The pictures show it kind of sculpted, or a slim/athletic fit, but it really is more boxy and not form fitting. The placket also doesn’t look right, it closes up even if not buttoned and gives off a stiff look or feel. It is made well, it just doesn’t look good. I’ve had it a few months, and only worn it out once. Every time I put it on, I look in the mirror and decide on a different shirt. I’m past the return window, but I regret not returning it right away. I thought it would loosen up after a few washes or I would learn to like it, but neither happened. Target has short sleeve Henley’s that are much better.

I liked the way the shirt looked in the images online – I particularly like Henley-style pullovers. and liked several of the colors… but you know what they say, ‘buyer beware’ and I was worried that these came from China… especially in regards to the way the shirt may fit. But knowing I could return it to Amazon if I didn’t like it, I gave it a try, and am pleased to report – the shirt fit perfectly – I used the size chart to decide my size. The retro look is exactly what I expected – and the material is STRONG and DURABLE. This is not intended to be a ‘soft elegant shirt’ – these shirts look rugged by design – as far as I’m concerned they feel great – and I have just enough testosterone to think I could make it look really good on — and when my daughter confirmed that without me saying a word the next day – I ordered two more colors. One thing to note: these are, again by design, not ‘full figure’ sort of shirts. The chest and shoulders fit according to the size chart and taper ever so slightly toward the waist… mine fit perfectly and will continue to as long as I wash them in cold water, hang them to dry, and don’t gain weight around the middle. I like them and will probably get more colors as time goes by. Hope this helps…

This shirt has quickly become one of my favorite summer clothing. The material has nice texture and feels high quality. The fit is good, and very comfortable. My size is somewhere in between a small and medium. This in a medium size fits very well.
