This is my third time buying the big pack, and I’ll probably buy it again, as long as it’s available. I enjoy its taste even when I’m not feeling congested or cold. The taste is mostly of ginger and good-quality clover honey. The ginger flavor is strong and warming, but it isn’t of raw ginger (more like powdered ginger or stewed ginger). The crystals dissolve just as easily when stirred into cold water as they do when stirred into warm water. One can use hot water, too, but I don’t recommend using boiling water because I found that doing so changes the taste and creates an unpleasant foam/separation (especially if the water has already reached a rolling boil). It has never given me acidity or digestive problems and has always soothed my throat.
